@@warmogs3955 I never understood the trouble so many had with it back in my first school where speaker quality (as well as the samples used) where perfectly understandable (yet everyone complained), oh boy, after I had to switch schools back then I finally understood the actual complaints about it as "russian mic quality speakers with really bad voice samples" sums it up really well. To this day I got no Idea how one school goes all the way to make people actually learn whereas the other doesn't see any issue at all with it being being not understandable at all - at least you still can imply what philip says at the start, there was no way to do that with the tests I had to do until the rest of school.

I have always thought Dust II flowed a little awkwardly when it comes to A Site, so Valve adding new crates to try and adjust it is a welcome change. I definitely think it was a worthwhile thing to test our, even if it does end up getting reverted.

CS2 has to be one of the most playable FPS games with bad ping, I am able to play with my friends from India on Singapore servers from NZ with only 120 ping and no loss. Even with these network conditions, I still play a decent game.

I don't understand why they don't have any servers around the middle east / south eastern EU. I cannot play on any servers without min 60 ping. I'm sure there's enough players in Turkey, Balkans, and the rest of the area to merit adding servers. Although I'm scared of what it would entails having all these nationalities in one room haha

wym, it was super T sided before they nerfed T spawn sniping. Then it became a little less T sided but still was. CTs had almost no chance when T get middle and it was super easy for them

Having England servers is a big upgrade for people elsewhere in western europe, the more servers we have the further away from the russians the better. Less chance of running into them. On the downside, I will have to meet more UK cs players.
How bad it is UK connect to EU server? Cuz me in Indonesia, usually connect to Singapore (Main SEA server), Hongkong and sometime India server without any connection issue (but still have language issue)
It depends on where the game server and ISP server is located at geographically. for e.g. in malaysia, unifi ISP gives around 13ms , but TIME isp gives around 6ms to sg servers in Valorant, even though both unifi and time users could be located in the same apartment building. Another thing to consider is that our internet infrastructure is quite advanced compared to alot of developed countries. Yeah we might have taken a while to get to use the internet but part of being a developing country is that alot of our infrastructure are still incomplete, thus is easier to install the latest technology. The small land mass also makes it cheaper. Us half-assing shit also probably makes it easier to rip out all the old cables because they're all exposed anyway 💀 Opposed to developed countries already using dial-up internet since its invention, they need to 1st, decomission their old tech, then lay 1000's of km of fibre cable across multiple borders, dealing with multiple govt's and don't forget that a lot of property in the EU are historically significant, so destroying and rebuilding would cost a lot of money. It mostly boils down to cost. If valve chooses to host their game servers elsewhere its because of infrastructure limitations/cost. London might have gotten more servers or they just finally gave in to the players' complaints. EU game servers are an actual nightmare if you ever hopped on community servers in csgo. Lots of assumptions made here, could be wrong but here are my 2c.
