    Very nice work m8 also tipex is good for stopping silver solder or solder from sticking

    Always better to over solder buddy as you can clean it up but it’s harder to redo a part if needed

    Pump looks jolly good. I can get 90psi on my Minnie oil pump and like you had trouble with the non-return valve.
    Is that red oxide paint? I've started on the front wheels and have used etch primer Acid8 as a base coat and wondered if red oxide would serve as a decent 2nd layer. I don't want the wheels to rust while I plod on with the build

      Yes I generally do use red oxide as a primer. I have tried etch primers also and they all seem much the same to me.
      If you have primed them you can undercoat straight on that. They shouldnt rust if you have primed them and keep them dry.
