Great work, great instructional video!! This is really a confidence builder for me, Oggie. Thanks for your encouragement in showing the various approached. I look forward to what you do with the new kit as I am working on this one soon, myself. Thanks again, keep it up. Your support of the facebook groups is wonderful.
Hi, love this build. Have you ever used Vellajo water effects? Clear and white. Really good stuff. Plus it sets hard. No stickiness. Wonderful video. Thanks for doing these great videos. Could you show you making off's so we can see mistakes, leaning processes. Have fun!
Really enjoy your videos , always something to learn . Your modelling skills are fantastic . I have done similar types of water effects in the past and you are on the right track with silicon . When you get a good height with the silicon turn the board upside down so gravity doesn't collapse the splash . Let gravity work for you in the other direction . But keep an eye on it so you can control it .
Thanks buddy . Always good to share what we learn . You have to do it in layers . The last layer you put enough on so it tear drops which really caps off the effect when you turn it right side up . But you have to hang around till it sets . Have a good weekend my friend .
Thanks for watching. No doubt there are many ways to accomplish this. I know there are special liquids you can by from Woodland scenics which someone asked about but my aim here was to try to do this inexpensively and with materials you can easily find.
Very cool! Thanks for posting. Great water effect. Maybe attempt this someday.
Yet another beautiful build my friend. You sir are immensely talented and watching your vids is always fun and interesting!
Thanks so much for the kind compliment and for watching.
Very interesting methods - I've been contemplating water effects as well and will try out your techniques! Inspiring!

Good job. I have a similar proyect but with the x wings of the star wars the force awakens. I hope finish in my holidays.
Thank you...and yes the thought had crossed my mind about doing a water diorama with the Xwing as well.
Nice effects all around. Really like #2 actually. Shooting out is better lol
Nice Vid..............I been thinking about building the large sub for a long time but it's not a cheap kit

Great work. Watched many of your vids so far. Do you have a model display room you could tour for us? thanks!
Yes....I will plan to do that some time. Thanks for watching
Thank you for the video!

Nice process. thanks for sharing.
What kind of paint are you using to stick to the silicone? I would think acrylics might not adhere.
Actually...acrylics adhered just fine. Thanks for watching
I can't see a problem with yellow effects from hot glue as long as your model is yellow, too - remember water reflects !
Been catching up on your vids all night, but this one keeps throwing me errors in Chrome.
Keeps telling me the page has crashed even though it hasn't.
Am sorry to hear that, not sure if I can help much but thank you for watching.
