Hi, I want to buy two of these cages and put them together, do you think they will fit? I don't want the add on unit, because I don't want the hole between the cages. Also buying two 181 models will save me some money, but the question is, if they will fit 😅
Hi!! New subscriber!!! Love your videos! Recently got a critter nation 2 story for my chinchilla. Just wondering if you could do a video sharing accessories (liners, scatter pans, wood shavings, good brands to use, brands to avoid, and so on!😁) I've honestly learned so much about how to take care of my boy because of you!! Thank you so much! Keep up the great work😊
I really glad I was able to help you!! I haven't been posting in a while but plan on starting back up soon and will work on some accessory videos for you!
Thank you so much! I actually have a DIY ledge video. Check that out here- th-cam.com/video/iGYI7Nq87XA/w-d-xo.html ALSO, I am working on a basic DIY hut for my next DIY project. So look out for that video in a couple weeks!
so this size cage is enought for chinchillas? cose i have 2 months old chinchilla and i am planning to buy new cage for him. does that size cage would be good?
Yes this is an appropriate size for a chinchilla. I would suggest looking at this video for a young chinchilla. They require a bit of a different setup. th-cam.com/video/cp-LUnJcaWg/w-d-xo.html
I built a cage last year too and my friend and I didn’t pay as much attention to where all the holes were at all times 😩 We essentially rebuilt that cage like 3 times just trying to assemble it (instructions weren’t great 😅)
They replaced the old wire ladder with this new plastic ladder in my video. I have not used the new ladder because I didn't like the velcro attachment. So I replaced it with a wooden shelf/lava ledge.
Thank you for your input! However, I have to disagree. Cage size for chinchillas is a very controversial topic. Chinchillas are den dwellers which makes them more comfortable in smaller spaces. The single ferret nation cage is an appropriate size for up to 2 chinchillas however I always suggest chinchilla owners to upgrade down the line as long as they can give their chinchilla enough enrichment to make them feel secure.

@@Bella-uu2pv I get most of my research directly from breeders in forums and Facebook groups since most Google searches will lead to inaccurate information. All domestic chinchillas descend from Chilean burrowing chinchillas, which spend 90% of their lives in burrows only large enough for them to stand and turn around in. Chinchillas are happiest in cozy cages not large exposed cages where they feel they are on display to be eaten. This cage is widely accepted to be an appropriate size for up to 2 chinchillas. Let me know if you want to discuss this further.
@@ChinVillain i agree cose chinchillas love to be in cozy places... btw my chinchilla is scared of big places i tried to put him bigger cage but he was very scared and unhappy. Now i have another chinchilla and he doesnt like big cages too
@@cloudx8997 Chinchillas do not like feeling exposed. So I would suggest getting more accessories to create more places for them to hide and feel more secure.
This video was very helpful, thank you so much 💜
I think your vídeos are great and fun to watch. Also veeery useful! You definetly should have more subscribers 🖤
Haha! Thank you so much! It means a lot to me!

Omg amazing and SUPER underrated, I love this!
Thank you so much!
None of my 4 ferret nation cages came with screws. I thought they did away with them? Very helpful video! Thanks!
Could you please tell me what lead to you thinking they wanted live separately, before going to the pet psychic.
Love your chin cage videos, would love a video on how you make your huts and shelfs. Need some inspiration for my cage hehe

Haha! Oh I relate to this so hard!
Do you think a chin spin would be able to fit in there?
In a Ferret Nation cage? Yes, It does!
@@ChinVillain Thank you!!
Ok I just bought the single story cage. Is the ladder suppose to move?
