Very interesting. I am curious about the purpose of the bungee cord hanging down from above the passenger window at 12.11. I note you were driving with a camera/lens combo sitting on a bean bag, unattended. It looks very risky.
Very observing indeed Roger. You should win a prize for it. The elastic cord is the type that you use as a tie down for equipment on roofracks for traveling. Now because the camera lens combo has a potential to tilt over and fall especially in those corrugated gravel roads I hook the tie down cord to the handle in the roof and onto the camera strap so if it falls it is on a soft elastic cord with no shock thus causing a super soft drop. Obviously short enough to not let the camera touch the ground. The truth: i dont always do it but should as everytime I put the camera on the bean bag I fear dropping the camera. Therefore I am actually careful with the balance EACH and every time I through the camera on the bean bag believe me. I would not like it if someone do the same with my equipment though . All the best
Thank you Lockdown!! I discovered your channel and is totally hooked! I absolutely love your channel! Visited the Kgalagadi last year for the first time and loved every bit of it. What channel would you recommend for editing wildlife images?
