  • Nibbi PE30 carburetor review…in my opinion these carburetors are extremely impressive as far as build quality and the little details for example every part of this carb is high polished to allow for the best possible airflow & fuel atomization compared to your average clone Mikuni vm26 or keihin pz30 these are definitely made to a higher standard though still from China..just shows you they can produce a high quality product when they want to…my starting point for jetting will be a 120 main 38 pilot and around 1.5 turns on the air mixture or air/fuel mixture screw but because it’s next to the air inlet side on this particular carb it is considered to be your air mixture screw

    Matching & much needed nibbi intake for the cg motor

    Great assortment of jets for all of the above carburetors that flow true to their size

    Matching 48mm nibbi filter for the nibbi carbs

    Matching filter for the pz30-vm26

    Hey great video About to install mine. Question; Is the plunger (black knob) some kind of choke? Heard it's a circuit but I don't know how it works. Don't know if I should start the bike with it up or down or what position to actually have it when riding.

    • @Jboost412
      @Jboost412  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! And yeah that’s your choke down is off clicked upward is on! Really good choice on the carburetor they last forever & the bike will run really good with a quality carb

    I've heard you have to change the intake is the one in the description correct for the 2021 tbr7 also did it come with the Jets or will I need to buy those as well ... And lastly can you notice a big difference between this and one of the clones I'm looking for feed and performance so I'm willing to to spend the money I just like to know when I'm buying and not wait around and have to buy more stuff LOL

    • @Jboost412
      @Jboost412  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You do need a intake & i recommend buying a jet kit since you never know what sizes you’ll need everything you need is in the videos description personally I don’t think much of the typical clone carbs so nibbi works great for me

      @@Jboost412 thanks a lot I joined the Facebook group last night and asked a bunch of stupid questions LOL I'll try not to be so annoying I'm not mechanically stupid but I've never worked on a motorcycle I got it all together and running but I can definitely tell the carburetor is crap especially for my size I'm 6'2 235 lol I'm going to order the stuff from your description hopefully you get a little kick back from it also going to buy a few other things that you have listed on your other video thanks a lot

      It just wasn’t worth it They’re just so hard to deal with and by the time you set up an affiliate link and post it if someone clicks on it and say they want blue handlebars instead of the black ones you posted..:now it’s not your affiliate link 😆 so the couple bucks wasn’t worth it to keep making custom links and so on…I’m just happy everyone’s getting the info they need and thru the videos the help they’ll need to get em running and keep em running

    What is the hose on the bottom? A vent or something?

      Hose on the bottom is for a float bowl drain

But yeah I’ll be more then happy to help you get a baseline for Jetting together what’s your elevation..most people don’t know that off hand 😂 no worries just ask google for your current elevation & let me know I’ll get it sorted out for you!

    The tt250 has what I'm assuming is a vacuum line that runs to the intake. If I replace the intake so that the nibbi will fit, there will be nowhere for that vacuum line to go to. There is another vacuum line that runs to the carb itself. What do I do with my vacuum lines?

      @@Jboost412 you are setting this up for a tbr7… can you do a video on that? I have a tbr7 too and I have to run 1/2 choke to get it to run right… I have a replacement carb but I would get a nibbi if I knew what settings worked

      @Jboost412  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      What elevation are you at roughly and what carb do you have currently? Also what mods have you done..I can pretty much get you set to where you’ll just need to adjust your idle as long as the carb itself is good!

    Do you have to remove that plastic cover piece?

    • @Jboost412
      @Jboost412  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you mean the one in the float bowl covering up the jets after a few months of using the nibbi I found just eliminating it was a better idea because it would fall off and block some of the fuel flow

    • @StreetPiratesTV
      @StreetPiratesTV 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Awesome. Thanks for the fast reply. I was wondering if it had any connection to my carb leaking gas out of the drain area. Either that or my float is not set correctly or there is a clog. I have no idea.

    • @Jboost412
      @Jboost412  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well as far as setting float height of your not familiar with using a micrometer to do so the easiest way is to adjust it so the floats level/slightly higher your carbs body flipped upside down is a general rule of thumb sometimes the carbs get clogged from sitting with ethanol fuel or just contamination from being made but anything you need I’ll be here

      Yeah they’ll do that when stock you’ll need to adjust the valve lash “videos available on my channel as well” & get the carb jetted correctly which will take away 99% if any pop on deaccel you have currently…if you need some help jetting & tuning I have a video on that as well but I’m always happy to give 1 on 1 help let me know your elevation “ask Google” I’ll get you a good baseline for jetting to start with

    Unless a 1980s or earlier bike all floats are plastic

    • @Jboost412
      @Jboost412  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah that sounds about right for factory carburetors….just like the metal style ones personally for long term reliability I wish they offered that as an option I’ve had plastic floats fail in the past filling with fuel causing the carb to just flood or bleed fuel out of every possible place

    • @njmxjunkie3128
      @njmxjunkie3128 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Jboost412 very rare for the plastics floats to fail but it does happen especially on knock off carbs but it’s still uncommon. Also just as easy to fix. A lil jb weld is exactly the same as soldering the old brass ones when they fail. I’ve had to repair both. Nothing wrong with having a preference tho man!!! I’m really thinking of giving one
      Of these nibbis a try
