This is an interesting design that takes a couple of risks. The central living/dining “tower” is a welcome feature. I would suggest reworking the design slightly to include proper entry storage that may take more space and not look as trendy or attractive but your homeowners will thank you for it. I also think that it’s good kitchen practice to have the dishwasher adjacent to the sink. This house is nicely appointed and has very workable proportions - would definitely live here!
This house has features I look for, though with some adjustments. I'd use a conventional front door instead of a slider, and I'd swap the locations of the dining room and living room. The laundry room is large enough for side-by-side units. I like the big pantry, and I like that the wall ovens are not touching the refrigerator! The office is great for those who work from home, though I'd omit the decorative fireplace in the Master suite.
Love the concept and floor plan, however the only minor changes that I would make is to turn the bathroom by the other two bedrooms into a jack and jill style. Get rid of the stackable washer and dryer and put them on the ground. Lastly widen the garage in order to add additional storage and work space. I would definitely live in this home.
Yes -- stackable W & D is less marketable than side-by-side, IMO.. We seniors, for one, won't want the annoyance of an overhead dryer -- many of us have balance issues; even tilting our heads back can lead to a fall.
This home would work for me. Single story and no stairs to climb. The only change would be to lighten up the interior wood work and paneling to negate the darkness of the home. It’s slightly larger the usual homes you created and it’s a winner.
I love this layout! However, too much space is devoted to the dining room, and not enough to the living room. Maybe switch the two, with a free-standing fireplace between them ..would be cool. Love the included pantry!
As has already been noted here, I would increase the depth of the entrance area to a full-fledged vestibule and replace the sliding glass door with a single-leaf hinged door. Yes, perhaps this would make the facade less stylish (although, this is not a fact), but practicality should not be sacrificed to architectural appeal. Otherwise, the house design is successful, all functional zones are present.
How did you get a 1400 sq ft 3 BR, 2.5 BR to feel like 1800 sq ft? Love this home with only cosmetic changes (French doors, not sliding glass, not cleaning stone walls except where the fireplace is)? And a garage! Love this home! 💕 I thought it had a BR upstairs.
Amen.Abeautiful house and lovely home i love the layout of all the rooms and would love living here , but i would put doors on the bedrooms as i like privacy .,and i love the kitchen and master bedroom & bathroom as i love a bathroom right next to the bedroom ,so convienent . God bless you always .🎉💞💕💐🌷❤️💝🌺💖💖💖💖💖🧬🌹🐕🦺😼😼🙂 you
It’s quirky and indicative to some 70’s style homes I’ve seen. Not quite vintage in design but perhaps inspired by? The exterior demands attention upon approach but the interior fails to follow its lead.
Just a little question: Where in the world would one have to live without "Bugs". There is no provision for a 'bug screen area, a permanent screen which would allow people to sit outside without being eaten alive. And for sliding winter glass protection to extend the outside time frame. Just Sayin'
1) Divided garage doors 👎! It’s much easier to hit car side mirrors with divided garage doors. 2) What’s with the shallow sink in the utility room? That’s a problem ! Utility sinks should be deep. If you don’t want it at the traditional depth, at least some kind of depth, but the one that is pictured is useless!
Not a fan of all the brick. Seems to take up square footage that would open it up more. Never have cared for anything in an island like a cooktop or sink. I would want that space clear for multiple uses. Need the sink by the dishwasher and add a window there. Do not care for an exit/entrance from a bedroom to the outside. Just another way for an intruder to get in plus it offers too much light in a sleeping space. I would loose the tub in the master bath and add a linen closet there. Not a fan of stackable washer/dryers. Prefer the side by side. And I agree with others about the front entrance. Missed a big opportunity there. I know that plans can be modified but it would help to see these things already in place to help make a HUGE decision in what will be one’s largest investment in life. Just my two cents.
😮😊 The patio's are gorgeous!

With the exception of the front entrance, which is not organized well, the house is wonderful. A great design.
very lovely home

Very. Ice. It the dining room table placement makes it cramped in the living area.
Are any of these houses available in Illinois near Chicago? Love this❤
То что нужно👍
I really like the layout. This is something I have been looking for. How much to build? In any state.

What's the Sq footage
There are two versions of this house plan: one is 1,400 sq ft, and the other is 1,600 sq ft.

I dont like homes with the garage in front of the house.
Stop sticking the laundry in a pass through. So irritating. It needs its own room and not a tiny closet type room.
Way too cluttered!! Too many big chairs-- WHY??
Hate hall ways! Not open enough.
Nope ALL wrong. No easy access to front door without getting on grass, dinning room right in front and dishwasher on other side of sink...
