Awesome, the complexity of the pump in a "cheaper" version ID-19. What an old world craftsmanship to overhaul these things. My friend Pat G in Tsawwassen BC is redoing his DS from the ground up. Thanks.
The pump, as many other components, was the same of the other models of the "D series" The ID was introduced later than the DS to please less affluent customers, so Citroen, from its debut, equipped the IDs with the same technical equipment as the DS , but more or less one year later. Only the interior fittings ( and a few other details) remained less luxurious. Good luck to your friend Pat for his restoration! Happy to offer some advice if he should need !
TKS! I bought them on: www.franzose.de. Quality of plugs and cabling in general is good. The only flaw: the original wiring of the ID was taped in gray and not black... but I consider it a minor detail...
