    Which water filter do you use or would like to try out?

      At home ... my big berkey is the last word in long term water purification ...
      On the move ... my grayl geopress is unbeatable...
      I also carry a millbank bag plus Puritabs and obviously my firebox stove and a 2 litre klean kanteen stainless water bottle wit a fish mouth spreader .
      This system cannot be improved upon .

      My BOB will use a couple of Pure Hydration inline Survivor purifier's with the Survivor Smartpump with a Katadyn Water Filter Bottle Adaptor Active Carbon and a Survivor 58 bottle and an ArmourWeave Reservoir with a S10 Respirator water line adapter and a Titanium 1.2 Litre Water Bottle and rechargeable Steripen Ultra. A Millbank bag as well for pre filtering.

      I have a few different filters..my main go to for the outdoors is the Grayl Geopress..and I have a Sawyer Mini in my Survival Pouch.
      My EDC is the Water-to-Go Bottle..looks like an everyday drinks bottle but filters everything out.

      I mainly use lifesaver cube with sawyer squeeze as pre-filter and some time maybe will use a UV light stick too depend on my camping location in H. K

    Awesome essential items. Esp in this heat, where it's becoming harder to source clean water as the streams are at a super low level.

    Good and important subject Lee, nice collection there, I have a couple of Katadyn pumps and a couple of lifesaver straw's and of course the venerable old issue Millbank bag, estimate around 15 thousand litres. The Jerry can is an expensive bit of kit and basically vehicle dependent for most people, but yes good for the home too.

    Ive had my British Berkfield for 4 months now and I'm very happy with it. I have the smallest and it packs down plenty small enough to take camping ( obvs not for a Bug out bag.)
    My only criticism is the tap it comes with- at the ptice i think they should have provided a stainless steel tap for it. I bought one but it seens mean to me.

    • @TheBugOutShop
      @TheBugOutShop  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I agree the tap needs upgrading especially if it’s used regularly.

      Yes and making sure you choose a good one as a substandard one could could have serious health consequences

    Top video, i think lifesaver is the way to go from what you are saying, that or the British Berkfield

      Yes when it comes to your health, pick a good water filter that does the job.

    Hiya, I know this is a year old but just wondering if you know anything about the pure clear water filters. Supposedly as good as a Grayl
