I think cash mules are catching on. Realizing they are getting caught and are trying to hide their identity more and more. We haven't seen anything like this or not in a while. This chase was crazy. Sucks you lost him, but least something was made.
The scammers constantly adapt. They once used money transfer services but when those cracked down, they moved to gift cards and those have started cracking down as well, so they went to shipping cash then when Trilogy and others started confronting mules using shipping services, they started using in person mules. Some scammers are now sending their victims to cryptocurrency wallets and ATMs. The scammers keep adapting to the scambaiters have to as well.

The cash mule is Japanese, he's going to act differently from other cash mules. They messed up on this scam hunt because they didn't realize the difference. There's literally no talking him down like they were doing. They should have cornered him and immediately called the police.

I think cash mules are catching on. Realizing they are getting caught and are trying to hide their identity more and more. We haven't seen anything like this or not in a while. This chase was crazy. Sucks you lost him, but least something was made.
The scammers constantly adapt. They once used money transfer services but when those cracked down, they moved to gift cards and those have started cracking down as well, so they went to shipping cash then when Trilogy and others started confronting mules using shipping services, they started using in person mules. Some scammers are now sending their victims to cryptocurrency wallets and ATMs. The scammers keep adapting to the scambaiters have to as well.
