A couple of things before I forget: - This arrangement features all versions of Supporting Me, I decided to flesh it out as a song around the SxS version. - The rhythm guitarwork of the main "melody" is based on the bassline of SxS, I think it wasn't a good idea once I started mixing since it makes everything sound so low overall, but I already took the time to record all that, I wasn't gonna throw it in the bin. Thankfully it just loops twice on this arrangement. - The vocals are a mish-mash of my attempts at singing. I wanted to keep the "obscure" effect of the original, which makes it a bit easier to hide my awful timbre, but not enough to mask it out completely like with my Splatoon covers. Anyways, I tried matching the original in terms of tone but I think I did a poor job overall I think. I personally think I should've asked for someone else to do the vocals, but anyways. The takes at 3:11 are more in line on how I usually sound and where my voice stands, I'm happy with those. - The solo section is a mix of the SxS section (my attempt of tackling the harminic minor solo) and OF COURSE THE BEST VERSION OF SUPPORTING ME, the Olympic Games version of it, since its the only one that features a key change and I wanted to offer a bit of a palate cleanser from the usual chord progression. It's more of a Jrock thing. - First time trying proper 3 point lighting, my features look somewhat weird but I think the overall look is much cleaner now. - I rediscovered the VHS plugin I had so I decided to plaster the entire video with it, sorry ! I had the plan to put the lyrics on screen like a proper MV but totally forgot about it, since I was way behind schedule with this. Also, it's very difficult to "move" a vocalist, looking cool and all that since I'm always used to have a guitar on my hands.
I wouldn't say it's too low, but maybe a tad too hard to hear. I like the contrast between the low singing and the higher parts. It sounds kinda gothic. Maybe sing with a whisper like Billie Eilish if you try again? And if you do want to try it again one day might I suggest trying one of those lofi handset telephone mics? It might add a cool effect!

I know Throw It All Away is just ONE of his theme songs now, but all of his stages sorta acted as his theme songs too and they all had this kinda cosmic grungy mysterious vibe to it that you don't get with later songs. Just always thought it would be cool if they cycled through these different styles of music for him. Shadow Generations utilizes them all and mixes the genres a little. So that's kidna cool.
The way I see it, villain shadow and heroes onward shadow are two different people. Hence the difference in genre for his themes. And that’s coming from someone who prefers the SA2 Shadow music over everything else. I mean it’s all good, of course. But Throw it All Away is just so… magical.
Definitely, edgy/pop metal doesn't fit him just just right compared to grungy themes like you said. But in any case, I hope you liked this arrangement ! ( ˙꒳˙ )

Fan spent so much time explaining why the character had been ruined, except a certain portrayals only for one TH-camr to bring up the notion that maybe it is purposely a different character. Meaning that they took a character that was popular, kept him around because he was popular, but simultaneously decided to make him a different character that wasn’t as good. You could argue it’s because of the amnesia, but that shouldn’t necessarily change who he is at his core, just what he knows. In Heroes he didn’t change. In Shad05 onward he did. And he became a hero by the end of SA2. I remember having a perspective of what he might be like going forward after that game, even after Heroes. Based on how he acted at the end of SA2. But they just took a hard left turn. lol The other thing is that his music, more grungy and mysterious was more of a representation of his torture, not him being a villain. Meaning it is still applicable to the current version of the character. So I’m glad they opted to represent him with a mixture of styles.

On Sonic Adventure 2 Battle (my very first contact with SA2), I hated Biolizard but only due to the boss attack patterns and developed a love-hate relationship with it. But for me, its battle pose more challenge than Final Hazard's.
Oh this rockkkkks! I loved hearing the remix in generations but still wanted *something* else from it and you brought that and so much more! Always had a soft spot for the Dreamcast era riffs
