    this detector has been flying off the shelves...saving folks big $..quality and loaded with content..a smack in the face of big time manufacturers...great video..

      The best part about it...it was literally designed by “the people”. People kept telling Nokta what they’d like to see in their detector and THEY KEPT ADDING STUFF!! This machine is literally built by detectorists like ourselves!!

    When reviewing or comparing detectors, the viewers need to hear the sounds, so no headphones.

    Simplex is a lot of machine for not too much money ..
    I have used one and it is a very firm machine , it feels like it can last for years.
    Only think i really do not like are the way targets sounds..
    Just personal, for anything else it is really a serious piece of kit👍🏽👍🏽

    It is a lot of machine for the money. I think it holds its own against the bigger machines and waterproof to 10 ft as well. Hats off to Nokta for delivering a great affordable machine. I hope the others take notice and step up their game. At the money difference, there should be plenty of difference.

    I agree with AT_Todd. Your "flag pole top" is absolutely a buggy break. You'll notice a little wear on one side and usually a small pin hole... buggy brake. Nice!

    Good video, but if you plan to post on TH-cam, viewers would benefit by hearing all the sounds both from the metal detectors and pinpointers during the entire video. The onscreen messages and verbal reports were nice, but sounds would be of great benefit.

    • @DetectorComparisons
      @DetectorComparisons  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed, it would be ideal to hear all the sounds. A lot of the guys that I get to volunteer and help me out use headphones and it's tough enough to get them to come over and compare all the signals. I'll try to get them to unplug their headphones in the future.

    Hi, What is the thin pencil like pin pointer being used ?

    • @DetectorComparisons
      @DetectorComparisons  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is called a Uni-Probe made by Detectorpro. It is a prototype made to work with the Deus. After giving this a thorough testing, I'll be doing a video showing how it works.

      I had the simplex for a while and switched to the nox. I used the simplex in the saltwater and quickly realized that there’s no comparison to the nox in the water. I’m very impressed with the simplex but not in the same category as the equinox

    Great video :-). Your brass piece is one of those commonly misidentified things. It's called a shaft tip. The wear is from them being dragged on the ground moving the wagon around. Type in wagon shaft tip into google. They sell replacements even today. Love seeing all the cool old relics and coins you all found! Cheers!

    • @DetectorComparisons

      I have found a few of these over the years and I'm glad to know what they finally are.... After looking on line, it appears these were made to protect the wood from wearing out or splintering. I'm not sure why they're called "buggy brakes"? The ones I have all have the same flat spot with the same irregular shaped nail hole. After cleaning, it appears there in no wear on these. Thanks again for your input.
