The Pixel 6a has Speech to Text, Call Screening, and a number of other AI/ML abilities that are second to none. Not to mention are superior to any iPhone.
Not surprised the SE is faster, but the 6a still holds up. And for $449? You're getting a design that looks 8 years ahead of the SE, 80% of the performance, an OLED display, a decent 4 years of support, and better cameras for photos. I dig it.
It'll be the same amount of time as it is now cuz the apps are going to get more resource intensive so it'll probably be a few seconds for each app 15 years from now
I don’t think the loading speeds make that big of a difference. The SE has the a15 chip which is obviously better than pixel’s chip. But pixel’s screen already gives it a huge advantage.
6a finger print sensor is slower, but it works in many situations like sweaty or oily finger. In fact I think it works better if your finger is not completely dry. The trick is to firmly press your finger at the under display sensor, not just lightly touch it. As for iphone SE, it won't register my fingerprint when my hands are sweaty but when it works, it is exceptionally fast. I guess it's a fair trade off for the 6a having slower unlocking method but works in more diverse hand condition.

I believe Google needs to optimise the device more. I saw a speed test between Pixel 6 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max by a popular TH-cam creator and Pixel loaded almost every app faster than the iPhone. In fact, had it not been for video rendering test the Pixel would have won the round in that video.
Well all these videos with 6a are still running on pre-release software from April. I'm sure it'll be a little more optimized once the day 1 software version is finally released for consumer use

US-based MVNO 'Visible' routinely sells the SE 3 for $329. The price bounces back and forth $100 every couple of weeks.
The iPhone SE needs a bigger screen. The iPhone SE 4 should either get rid of the home button (switch to gestures) and use face id or in-display touch id in order to have the screen fill out more of the phone (iPhone Xr) or just make the entire phone bigger, so you'll at least have a big screen even with those big bezels (iPhone 8+). Either of these options is better than what Apple is currently doing.
Imagine Nick if I want to upgrade from my iPhone 7 Plus which doesn’t run iOS 16 To an iPhone SE 3rd gen Which will get serval years to be supported I mean I love touch ID And I know everyone missed the fingerprint which I know but it is what it is
@@superiortoall22 How exactly? The SE physically has a battery that has less than half the capacity of the 6A. Also considering it only released today I doubt you’ve had enough time to sufficiently test the battery life.

I can count the seconds of how fast an app loads on a phone and I can tell that the iPhone SE 3 is just as fast as my iPhone 13 Pro Max even though that has a 6.7 OLED display with a significantly higher resolution. I can’t believe the iPhone 13 Pro Max is well optimized. It’s a little laggier than my 13 Pro Max though because my phone has 6GB of ram vs. 4GB of ram on the SE. Higher amount of ram does indeed mean smoother performance as well as better multitasking.
Speed, performance, RAM management, cellular connectivity and performance all go to the iPhone SE 3. But Pixel 6 has a better display (not to mention it’s OLED unlike the SE), and a more modern design. Also if you’re comparing biometrics both have finger print scanners. Touch ID still better.
The pixel 6a has its fair share of problems but the iphone looks like from stone age, small screen + big bezels just looks awful by now, sorry apple, the SE is a no go…

Worlds fastest chip a15 bionic and iOS software put the iPhone se way out in front in my view but I like what Google have done with the pixel 6a here. I think consumers now have a great choice of phones at reasonable prices. When you notice the slight lag on the pixel 6a this is usually exasperated when trying to multitask so although the tensor chip is a step in the right direction it’s a long way from the a15 bionic which powers all the latest iPhones with ease.
iPhone se is the type of phone that you shouldn’t do anything entertaining on lol… watching a video or playing game is the worst experience. It’s should be used for communication only…

Sony Xperia 1iv has beat iPhone 13 pro max in speed, it wasn’t even close lol… the problem is that phone is too hot to hold and cost $1700… idk how Sony was faster than latest iPhone in speed and ram.. even the games were faster in the Sony phone…I thought iPhone chip was the fastest…

I'm really not rich so even 20 dollars more i can't afford, for me se is better in the long run, it'll last a lot longer, i have an Android phone which was amazing when i got it 2 years ago, but now the battery is not doing that well, performance has had some lag etc

But the thing is, the se has a flagship chip. The pixels chip is technically a flagship, but the tensor is mostly based on the cloud.

iPhone SE 2022 has poor battery life, roughly in line with a new 7 plus.

6a is the "budget" king. The only brand new phone in the same price range I feel can even be a threat is the Nothing Phone.
The Google chip performs really well against the A15, but agree with nick Apple needs to ditch that design its so outdated.
The iPhone SE low-key has the best build quality on a midrange phone even with the bulky bezels

Over the course of this test pixel 6a lost 5% battery while iPhone SE 2022 lost 9% battery. Almost twice battery life.
I love my 6a the iPhone SE is quite nice with it's chipset.
