Great time and video. Ran it yday in 6h24m, beating my previous best by 13mins. Was a perfect day weather wise, no wind or rain and about 1degree. Path was a bit muddy, and caught a fair few walkers on single file sections. Think I can get a sub 6 hour time after watching this video for sure sometime soon. Thanks !
Cracking time, excellent! Done Y3P more times than I can remember now (15+ maybe) and best time is 7h 12mins, walking only, no jogging or running. Always thought I could crack the 7h mark but never got round to trying for it as old Father Time never stops... Good vid, cheers!
Apple Watch is great for mapping, the display is very bright and super clear. Used it for this purely for the mapping - although didn’t need it (but great back up) You can see I also use a Garmin and had both on. Like the long term tracking the Garmin gives me. Apple does this too, it’s just a case of getting used to the ‘system’ and the app. Both great watches. I like Garmin for pure running and maybe apple as a general watch that can be used for running too - hope that makes sense!!
Glad it didn’t rain cos those edges would’ve got VERY slippy.
Well done on the run!
Fantastic! Ive walked 2 of those, i wouldn't be able to run it even if there was a mountain lion behind me!

Thank you. Next time just try a little jog on the flatter sections and you might go under 7. 👍
Thanks for the response - I actually meant under 7hrs only walking, no running or jogging at all...

Hows that possible, I jogged most of the flats, paced up the hills and achieved a 7hr 22. Maybe I lost to much time to stops@@boyojunior
Coming down hill is always hard on the legs, A lot of people neglect this in training. How do you find the apple watch ⌚️
