I have a Build I like to call Stun Lock/Boss Fighter. More or less I use any pistol for the Pistol arts and the GL6 Inferno for the ability to inflict blaze build-up without a skill. Skill requirements are pretty loose too, except you need to run at least 2 of the 3 Graviton Shot skills, however I use all 3. Other skills Id reccomend is the defense down debuff shot and Power buff for yourself to boost the damage of the Graviton Shot. The rest of the skills are up to you, and the gadgets don't matter.
The goal of the build is to inflict blaze on a boss, use the pistol weapon arts so its easy to spam skills, then switch to the GL6 to spam the hell out of the Graviton shot 2 and 3. The constant damage over time to most bosses causes them to flinch very often, and typically make them unable to move because of the constant flinching. Not only that, but I find it to deal at least a bar of health to bosses. I find this most effective against grounded bosses/non-flying enemies, and more specifically the mech bosses.
Oh, to add to it, allow your ArFA-Sys to have all 3 shots and another GL6 Inferno, and use Fukaziroh in your squad, as she also has a Graviton Shot.
Has anyone made a complete list for Gun & Sword yet? Kinda want to know which sword pairs with which gun. While grinding for all the swords is an option, RNG and me don't get along and help a lot in terms of which sword is worth grinding for and finally get started on a sword build.

hey man i was wondering if you could try a good duel wield build. i have looked all over yt for a build and the search comes up empty
i dont have a particular skill set per se, i just use whatever i think is best. ive been grinding my sword skills to get level 3 and im level 2 on all the relevant ones. Dual orbital, sharp nail, horizontal square strike, and vorpal strike.
Got my current build, a lvl 150 and have my dex, agi, str, int, at 120, vit at 110, and luc at 100. Idk i like it lets me use a wide range of weapons and skills. Also my pvp build, the 120 goes well with my Dainsleif estoc and AMR Deathwind with stunner 3. Thanks for these vids really helped me a lot early on keep it up!!

I usually use the build i call: Paladin, it is usually where the skills are for 2 different class like: Tank/Healer(support), Assualt/Close range, Close Range/Healer(Support) and Assualt/Healer(Support).

I was wondering if the damage output of sword attacks are different for sword only VS Sword and pistol. Speciffically skill damage (i.e. horizontal square). Granted that I think that Sword barrier can be necisary but having the ability to shoot bullet skill moves (healing field/electro stun/aed) could possibly outweigh sword barriers need.
Also I do like Dual orbital over vorpal strike as I admittaedly miss landing vorpal strike and dual orbital lets you better "aim" your strike... Bus I was wondering if you have noticed and damage output drop when using Dual sword VS Sword only as that may determine my thinking of something like Sword/pistol & launcher or minigun (for their specific weapon skills) VS something more traditional as Sword only & assault rifle.
I was hoping that you would have come across this or would be willing to look into this.
I have beaten the game 2x now (Saved kureha and zeleska) and grinding affinity for the true ending now before switching to extreme run. As such my build is only maining dual Robusts 2's (electrostun 3 &2/healing field 3/armor break 3) for bosses and really only stunning/armor break while allies take thier time killing non named enemies... with a pistol to spam skills I am grinding proficiency when not killing bosses. Just trying to maximize affinity AND proficiency at the moment.
my swordsman Build: sword solo, uses only sword skills and bullet deflect.
sword and pistol: healing/AED shot(depends on if my ARFA-Sys is out of the game for a bit), bullet deflect, Vorpal Strike, enemy defense drop max lvl...
my single sword is my sword is my highest damage sword so i get the max Damage Per Strike, my sword and pistol is one that took me 1 week to farm, and that was the Estoc Deathgun used, upgraded to be a vampiric sword and to massively increase my luck(pain in the ass to get those chips). the funny thing about my Sword/Gun build was my bullets regardless of which team they were on healed me 200 HP per bullet connected... made AED and healing shots useful...
oh and Vorpal strike tends to be bugged if you take damage just before triggering it, on the Final Boss of Story Mode i used it after getting 15 damage i think, and though all flashed the indicator as if they connected the boss took no damage, but my pistol barrage with the gun of the sword/gun depleted 1/5th its health...
im still waiting for an update...
