You know it’s funny, I did every single step by intuition except for getting Bazalt joes affinity to 475 because I thought he was annoying XDXDXD

Tl;dr Affection levels for new characters: level 4 and 75% full
Affection for old characters: level 2
Complete all side quests (asuna outfit, Liz weapon improvement)
Do all the green event bubbles (blue ones don't matter if you don't wanna do them)
Complete Kirito mode. After those two steps, you SHOULD get the charm ONLY IF YOU HAVEN'T STARTED MOTHER CLAUDIA. If you did already, you'll have to rewind. If you get the charm, all that's left is to beat the final boss by shooting his mouth (not jewel weakpoint) when he's charging his laser. Kill the true final boss, then win.
Does that include silica

The affinity grind is so annoying...they couldn't think of a better way to grind that?

Like this:
Normal enemies give .1 to .3% affinity and bosses give .5% and make the max affinity RANK 5 (NOT 4 100/100).
This was a huge oversight on the developer's part and it makes the game harder to want to platinum
Go somewhere and let your people die and just keep reviving them til you get them to where you need them..... You get like 4% to 5% every revive
The smart thing to do is make the enemies worth some affinity since we will be slaughtering them by the thousands.
Normal enemy kills .1% affinity
Enemy Player Kills. 2% affinity
Boss enemy kills .3% affinity
Bounty Hunt kills .4% affinity
Revives .5% affinity

Hey, I've done everything and beyond and my AF won't give me the charm at all. To make sure nothing would go wrong I made the new cast 4-100% did the events and did the things with the old cast up until level 2. Did the three quests about the shops. And completed kirito mode but nothing. Is there something I'm missing. Do I need to grind the affinity of my DLC characters? Seriously I'm lost. I know I completed kirito mode sense I got sword gun arts and such. PLEASE I NEED HELP I'VE PUT 440 Hours into doing this and I don't want it to go to waste.
You know, it took me a whole year to attempt getting the true ending, for the first half of a year I didn't even know there was a true ending until I came across it on TH-cam. So now here I am finally attempting the true ending. I was confused on how to do so I stopped by the only helpful video. This one. But my down side is it wasn't working for me. But after a bunch of rewinds and coming back to this vid. And reading the comments, I did it. So thanks to you Tuglow and everyone in the comments I did it! I got the Charm when i fast traveled home after I got the last key card in the Forest Edge dungeon.... so you don't have to do Kirito mode to get the charm

What he dont mention is during the first phase of the boss fight you must get him to 1 bar hp and when the gm charge up his wifu killing ball you must hit his weak point and down him so wifu dont die That's the requirement for true ending.

Tuglow when I got the affinity i went to speak to them and few of them wanted to go on dates and i went, when the date is over they disappear and want to speak again (green message thing) and it happens over and over again

I realized what you meant. And I want to die. If you raise the affinity with the fatal bullet characters, the interaction cutscenes have a date cutscene for EVERYONE no matter what. Zeliska, arfa-sys, and Kureha were fine cuz their girls but Joe and Itsuki are going to be troublesome, I finished Zeliska, kureha, and arfa-sys conversation cutscenes, so I want to itsuki, and I panicked and broke down, after seeing “lets go on a date” as my single option......

I'm one misson from complete MONTHER something and never got a charm from my ai I'm not making a another person to restart agin
Requirements to get the charm from your Arfa - sys (you must complete all this requirements before the mission called mother Claudia):
- have affinity level 4 and at the 75% for: your Arfa - sys, Kureha, itsuki, Zeliska, Bazalt joe and also Sinon
- have affinity level at least 2 for: Kirito, Asuna, Leafa, Lisbeth, Silica, Yuuki, Argo, Fukaziroh, LLENN, Pitoui, M, Philia, Strea, Premiere, Rain
-complete the 3 side quest, that Agil, Lisbeth and Asuna give you (you get this quest, at the beginning of your adventure)
- complete all the conversation with all the characters ( for do this I think you must complete the story with one of the two bad ending and then do the rewind, but i'm not sure)
-complete the kirito mode and with kirito go to the lobby and complete the conversation with sinon (you must have the affinity level for Sinon at 4)
When you did all this things, return to your room and your Arfasys give you the charm
Plz respond when u get the charm then do u do The Mother Claudia quest

-viewed all green conversation scenes that popped up
-did Agil/Asuna/Lisbeth tutorial sidequests
And yet nothing. There's some green bubbles in the lobby area when I look at the map, but nothing when I actually go there... what am I missing???
If you still can't get it try to do this:
There is a point in the game where you can ask your arfasys to go on a date with you. The green bubble thingy will appear on the map when you're at home. Carry that out and you should receive it. Atleast that's how it worked for me.
I'm soooooooooo annoyed! This is my third go, I beat Kirito mode in the first go, in the second go I tried saving Zeleska and I got the charm... But now even with the charm... Bad ending.... What the heck?!

I had to rewind game twice before I got amulet from Arfa-sys. I felt kinda trollee, because I had affinity lvl 5 | 100% on EVERY character even ond dlc and I watched every marker, had every "date", finished kirito mod, made autifts and other side quests and everything but only when I rewinded for 2nd time literally after choosing to rewind I got animation with Arfa-sys giving me amulet...
I came back on after a long time but when I came back it gave me the achievement “proof of friendship” when I haven’t even got all of them to rank 4 75%

SO i did a rewind to try and get the true ending. raised the affinity of the important characters, but apparently that wasn't enough. so the next time i picked continue instead of rewind planning to tackle the other dlcs only to find myself forced into having to start a new game. Zzz

Once you get the bad ending it’ll ask you if you want to go back In time to save your friend just do that and it’ll take you back a lil bfor everything happens
I did the Kirito mode way after finishing the story for the first time because Kirito mode was a new update to the game, so there is no way you can get the good ending sense you already finished Kirito mode because Kirito mode isn’t resettable. The only way to get the good ending if that happens is resetting the whole story. 💀💧

I ended up grinding up mostly everyone's affinity to rank 4 but not 4.75 and then I was already on the point where if I continue any further I wouldn't have access to Kirito mode. So I didn't have access to Kureha, Itsuki and others butif you have access to DLC content you could literally go to main menu start one of your DLCs and then you'll have access to the characters you might not have access to in main story so you can finish grinding them up
this game true ending was crazy hard to get, i couldnt get it and i didn't know what to do even after this i just couldn't put up with it anymore. Where's my cheat codes pretty please to skip all the level ups

So to get the good ending I have to sit there & listen to all these stupid conversations raise each character's affinity to 2 & 4 or 5 of them to lv4, play another mode as Kirito so more b.s., then give some part to my A.I. companion all before a certain quest? Then I have to kill a boss a specific way on top of it??dafuq I thought this was SAO not Final Fantasy?whelp I f-ked up then I skipped through most of those conversations..because these characters talk to damn much and I hate subtitles.. seriously why wasn't this game dubbed?
You can get more affinity by pressing the triangle button when you see you teammates name's pop up in the top left corner and there is hidden collectibles that our memories of the characters those will boost the Affinity that you get what each of those characters so long as you have their memorie collectible items the character memory Collectibles are hidden in the open world maps as well as hidden in each of the dungeons in hard-to-reach locations and hidden areas 👍😁
I fucked up big time, did mother Claudia and so on before doing Kirito mode because I reach the part when the game tells you to play Kirito mode and didn’t lvl up affinity on Zeliska and Itsuki just Kureha (because she’s the main friend) Dx

Can some please help...I beat the game and rewinded got the charm from my arfa sys but now when I go back to the flugel even is I just fast travel to the manhunter and beat him..it’s still sending me back to the old south...I can’t get back to the “final boss” of the game again...it’s been a little frustrating ...

I know I'll probably not get an answer as no one seems to really know but why 4 and 75% i had everyone over that except I lost access to itsuki at 4 and 60% so now I have to go all the way to the end just to rewind to get him up 15% that's so annoying.
Omg I couldn’t get affinity rank 4 for Itsuki and I had so many good guns and photon swords/swords that where in the parts after the main game on slot 1

If you mean unlock it, complete normal > go to title screen > options > change difficulty from normal to extreme. Otherwise idk what you mean

use shotgun or use Stroke handgun and just aim the head when u saw charging the attack of black sphere
Grind online that's how I did
Don't aim for the head aim for the chest with a machine gun or a sniper rifle but if you want to use a handgun like me you going to need a skill
See idk what issue I’m having I have all the main characters all R4 Affinity and I’m still getting the bad ending, so do I have to rewind back to mother Claudia? and defeat death gun in Kirito mode a 2nd time and then read all the green conversations to get the good ending, Affinity is done.

I’m pretty sure you only have to do Kirito Mode once : it carries over no matter how many endings you get.
Since you specified Rank 4 affinity, you might want to make sure it’s 75% or above for the characters new to Fatal Bullet. Then, yes, reading all the green bubbles is a requirement - but only in Normal Mode! The ones in Kirito mode are optional.
The video didn’t mention, but you may want to make sure you have the key item “Itsuki”s Gun”. It’s quite important!

No, the GGO alternative characters do not matter when trying to go for the true ending
