Personally, I just took whoever I needed affinity with through Demon Caves farming runs and their affinity maxes out really fast.. Might not be the best way, but I am doing it efficiently considering I am farming 2 different types of things at the same time (Items and affinity).. So many items I need for accessory enhancement comes from Demon Caves.. -_- Namely, Dual-Link Cores, FL-Type Materials, Plated Armor, and a few others that are "drop only" and cannot be bought from (extreme) Materials Vendor..
Im not gonna lie with you, but before i knew about all the ways to get affinity i went through the pain over just reviving over and over again. Took a long time because the enemies get focusing on me.

i only have one of the dlcs and that is ambush of imposters is ther a easier way of lving the affinty
So it can be any dlc? What if i purchase "ambush of imposters?"

You have to be in extreme mode and you can do it from the main menu or in game settings
And as far as true ending ill be doing a video on it soon so if you already know how great
