Of all places, Seoul is a mecc for good ramen?? You'd think otherwise. Should I ever go to Seoul, however, I will certainly keep these shops in mind, because like any sensible individual I'm all about a good bowl of ramen.
mikey i love you but you seriously need to stop being impressed when each strand of noodle is covered in sauce or broth. you are literally impressed by the chef's ability to stir/mix the freaking meal.
There may be some places where you can buy things for cheap but Korean industries are generally known to rip people off. I was eating with a friend at a Korean restaurant and some contractor guy walks in and starts arguing with the owners about the payment they still owe him. Not sure what these people are spending their money on but I think will definitely not gonna come here again. Don't expect to save money when you go to Korea.
A loanword from Japanese (うま味), umami can be translated as "pleasant savory taste".[10] This neologism was coined in 1908 by Japanese chemist Kikunae Ikeda from a nominalization of umai (うまい) "delicious". The compound 旨味 (with mi (味) "taste") is used for a more general sense of a food as delicious.[11][12][13] There is no current English equivalent of umami; however, some close descriptions are "meaty", "savory", and "broth-like".[14]
Making it to south korea is on the top of my bucket list. After living here in the USA, ive started getting tired of our food 😒, ive begun eating foreign foods way more often now. So many awesome flavors out there to behold, and not a lot of time.
@SpecialBrownies_ not where I'm at. It's a 4 hour drive to even get close to finding those foods. It simply isn't feasible to burn that much fuel to find good cuisine. Cooking at home maybe, but I am nowhere near being able to create them myself. Not every American has quick access to those establishments. And not all Americans are rich like the rest of the world claims we are. I'm saving for a decent world tour. Find them all at the source, it's my personal goal before I die. Do you, and I'll do me
Yup. That's the downside of the US. While there is just about every diversity when it comes to food, it really depends on your location. The US infrastructure is built that way where you have to drive long hours to buy this or that but in Korea, restaurants are literally all over you. Heck, you could be living right above a restaurant establishment.@@jessebrooks6231

It's honestly lost all meaning coming from him.
Its a ramen episode.. its natural that he says it more.
Now you gonna tell me not to use sweet too as a descriptor when reviewing sweets?

Pretty sure he does
God Bless you all and your whole families ❤️🙏 in Jesus Christ name I pray amen ❤️🙏🙌
those plates of UDON noodles would be the equivalent of $80 plus in the US. ridiculous how prices are normal everywhere but here.
Iono why it annoys me when he replays footage of the food he already showed that’s from the beginning and then mid/end of eating again 😅
