It was so satisfying to watch you enjoy some of the food in my country. Thanks for giving insight into what the regular people of Korea might eat on a typical day. I've personally eaten in 4 of the 7 places you visited and I have to say, you are quite the food connoisseur!
Please tell us the name of the Korean buffet so we can go when we go to Seoul next year? He only wrote it in Korean thanks
You make me drooling!!!!!!!! The way you say “Thank you” in Korean is so polite and respectful! You’re just amazing!
Yes, I agree!
I've been watching since you started out.
Your remark of why you like SK, I can't imagine you'd visit any country that didn't have amazing food !
After watching you eat tons (literally) of noodles, I bought every Ramen in my small town. I always thought they were versions of spaghetti, but gladly have been educated.
Whatever happened to your Texas Restaurant ?
Keep on eating, you lucky guy ! I'm 70 & cannot eat super spicey foods anymore. I raised bell peppers this year, sadly missing my spicy pepper plants😢...lol.
Where are you from
Oh yeah I forgot about his restaurants!!!
He was playing fast and loose with money from the restaurant.
He goes where he is paid. Not where the food is great.
I thought that buffet looked familiar! A few channels have gone behind the scenes in the kitchen to show how they make everything and it's so cool to see the before and after process of prepping the food then seeing it served and enjoyed.
What’s the name of it? We are going to Seoul next year and I really want Togo and it’s only written in Korean?
Have been watching you for years and this is SO thoroughly well deserved
This will always be my comfort channel 🙏🥲
Thank you for raising awareness of how delicious jjajangmyeon is. The people must know!
It’s like the pizza of the East

@@vincentvincent7004what is then
@@nathancasey7712 food.
Crazy how much cheaper, and BETTER, the food is in South Korea. That burger would have cost $10+ CAD here up north. The food looked awesome.
yeah its like $7 in ohio.
believe me, South Korea food is not cheap as you think
@@peteryoon4004 Really? The place Mike went to seemed pretty reasonable and looked really good.
he did go to places that are known for being outrageously cheap... most Koreans would spend around $6-12 USD for a typical meal and tourists will probably spend a bit more than that since restaurants tourists go to tend to be overpriced
Remember that it may be inexpensive to you but expensive to the locals.
Had a customer from the US buy one Super 120 Wool suit at the shop I work in Brazil, he was like...Wow this is super cheap and of high quality, you people are lucky...for him it was 600 dollars, for us it's 2900 bucks, wich is 2 times our monthly income@@cubabound2049
I am such a sucker for Japanese and Korean food hope I can travel there soon one day
Heading to Korea in the spring. Putting this on the list 😊
Bibimbap is everything ! That looked delicious
The buffet looks good. We have a lot of Korean (buy by the pound) lunch options here in DC that look similar.
Are they cheap or expensive?
Like Singapore I absolutely love it when Mikey goes to Seoul so much nostalgia for me! 😊
Yippee Back to his roots and how we love him!
@@debrosenbloom1731 He’s definitely NOT Korean or Singaporean. He’s from Xian China. Singapore has Chinese roots sure but Korea has very different food. It’s like saying Swedish is similar to American…no
Happy Halloween everyone. Stay safe out there tonight.
💚 감사합니다 Mike, I'd like to thank you for an episode you did some time ago with Eric Nam. After looking him up then, I have been a very loyal and passionate fan of his ever since. You never know when and where the next influence will come from that brings such happiness. I'm very grateful for you having been a part of it, as I'm a fan who enjoys you as well. Beautiful & delicious South Korea, wish I lived there with every fiber of my being! 감사합니다 ❤谢谢
because of korean food .. philippines has tons of unli bbqs and hot pots now
Love your content Mike! Happy halloween 🎃🎃🎃🧡🧡🖤🖤🖤
You had me at unlimited jajangmyeon dude.
I love Korean food!
Unlimited beer. Forget the food. I go for the beer
The cut to another place always looks like you start chasing random person 😂😂 and its hilarious
Great looking food, made my mouth water!
Hey Moke. Nothing but the best vida. You are navk in Seoul i see. Keep winning Mike. Everything looks delicious 😋🤤 Enjoy!! ❤️😙🐞 BTW: the prices blows my mind..
Love this of cheap eats options
Garlic makes noodles and rice really tasty
When you dunked the egg sandwich into the potato soup my soul died a bit because I don't have that right now.
Even the cheap eats in Seoul look amazing!! The buffet looks like wonderful way to try different koean dishes when traveling solo 🥢🥢🥢
Oh no..... it's better help now?!
Thanks for the recs! I’ll be there next week 😈
I thought the Japanese egg sandwiches made me drool, but those Korean egg toast had me salivating at both ends 😅
Japan & South Korea is on top of my places to visit.. the culture and food seems just up my ally...
I'm doing the spicy seafood noodle soup one. That's my favorite thing to get at a Korean Chinese place
Yes! Back in Korea!
I wish i could see Krista again. She was a nice neighbor during your stay in Korea 2 years ago ❤❤❤❤
so glad you are eating again in SK
It would be great if you started a company that sold noodles, and sauces of all kinds because they're impossible to find in this country. We ALL want to enjoy these noodles as you do,,,,,,
Please tell us the name of the Korean buffet? It’s written in Korean thanks
Much respect to mike for doing a soup kitchen tour. lol
I feel like in Korea where Mike is most happy. Also japan.
Bro, that potato soup had a fly. Look well, and you will see that.
Timestamp?
Happy Halloween everyone.
I want to try more Korean food, I have only had one dish so far 😢
I am loving korean food but in LA it’s not that cheap so I do want to go to Korean to eat everything
What's the address to Steak! ? 😅
Awesome
Really like the One is Mashi China & their Tang Su Yuk near Hongdae
Hey Mike,
What is the Steak BBQ place called? and where is it located in?
Thanks Mike, Great Content
6 bucks all you can eat and beer!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I can't even understand how that's possible.....
Hi Mike, can I have the address or location for the cheap Korean buffet? As I'm travelling to Seoul soon. Thank you 😊
Obliviously you have sponsorship to advertise these places.
Mikey: now I have a ton more cheap foodie stops in Seoul! I especially like the buffet!
I would love to go to Korea.
Happy Halloween!!! 🎃🎃🎃
please look into better help as a sponsor they have been underfire for many reasons
Can you list some of the reasons?
Can you list sponsors that aren't because when you're a TH-camr you take what you can get
Who cares, enjoy the content rather than nitpicking the reason we get to consume the content.
AG1 is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🤙🏽
Scum company sold customer data for profit. Big red flag
the jaja noodles seems tasty, im not sure if ill enjoy that sauce, as i am not a asian
Brb moving to Korea.
Curious, what is the reason for dipping the noodles rather than the sauce just being on them already?
Japanese style noodle dish made to be eaten that way(According to the Japanese people)
Cause the soup is quite thick and much richer than normal ramen soups. So it’ll be quite salty if you pour the noodles inside the soup
So the noodle keeps its freshness and chewyness.
It's crazy bc ppl in Korea are experiencing inflation. USD is strong 💪💵
Hey Mike
I can't even buy something for $3 at the grocery store, especially all you can eat.
Only in Korea Mikey Chen !!! Cheap Eats & delicious !!! The whole world is just busy ! No more Covid ! Were living again ! Thank you for sharing Mikey Chen !!!
Mikey, can you try eating at Isaac's Toast and Mama's Touch?
Please please do some reading on better health. They are not who you think they are.
Beautiful 👌👌👌
I'd quickly become morbidly obese if I ate just half as much as Mike.
Dipping noodles. Thats cool
6:59 Soup is Cow-blood soup, Not the Pig-blood.
Looks delucious
Mike Banchan is a collective noun so need to put an S on the end of everything Hope wifey scolded u
Food for thought: If an unstoppable force meets an immovable object, the answer is that the unstoppable force is redirected. The unstoppable force has two characteristics, movement and direction. Only movement must remain constant. The immovable object has one, it cannot move. Therefore, the unstoppable force is redirected.
It's about time wind and rain wear down the mountain
Unbelievably cheap! That one bowl of Jajang Myun would cost between $14 to 17 here in Southern California. And not all you can eat.
Is Jajangmyeon spicy?
no
It's not, au contraire, it's kind of sweet. That's why Mike added dry chili pepper powder to give it a kick.
It can be spicy, but the Korean version is usually more savory with a hint of sweetness. Maybe think rich soy sauce with a hint of sweetness?🤷🏻♂️
Jjamong name of the restaurant
looks good but you seriously overcooked that steak
Man food is so cheap in Korea
5:49 what song is thisss
❤❤❤
Jjm is good but you feel like shite after. There’s a reason why it’s ayce, most people can’t even eat more than a bowl.

Okay... what is 'scamen'?
Sounds like a noolde that isn't a real noodle. Like konjac or something
lol
“Tsukemen” is Japanese dipping noodles

Chinese: mian
Korean: myun
Japanese: men
I find it funny how the all you can eat buffets are so much cheaper all around the world than the us

So . . . you are eating Japanese food in Korea? Why not eat Japanese food in Japan -- and Korean food in Korea?
Maybe for the people 'living' in Korea, not for the people looking for a short trip I guess.
They let this man back in Korea
Hamburg Steak from Hamburg, Germany , brought by migrating populations in early 1800's. Of course, Americans love to re-create these other dishes...like Hawaiian Pizza...lol
Hawaiian pizza is Canadian.
Did i hear unlimited beer? xD
First!
짜장면에 고춧가루 넣는거 보고 감탄했다. 뭘 좀 아시는구만
Translation is a bit off. It's not "what do you know" but rather "this guy knows".
I know you were trying to say thank you in Korean, but both times you said different things and they weren't even words. It was like you just made up stuff and ended them with 습니다 (sumnida).
Seventh.
Bruh, if you want to call yourself a foodie, you simply must know the difference between green onions and chives. Just saying.
Korea is the best place to go.
I hope that burger shop knew what buggery means 😅
