It was so satisfying to watch you enjoy some of the food in my country. Thanks for giving insight into what the regular people of Korea might eat on a typical day. I've personally eaten in 4 of the 7 places you visited and I have to say, you are quite the food connoisseur!
I thought that buffet looked familiar! A few channels have gone behind the scenes in the kitchen to show how they make everything and it's so cool to see the before and after process of prepping the food then seeing it served and enjoyed.
I've been watching since you started out. Your remark of why you like SK, I can't imagine you'd visit any country that didn't have amazing food ! After watching you eat tons (literally) of noodles, I bought every Ramen in my small town. I always thought they were versions of spaghetti, but gladly have been educated. Whatever happened to your Texas Restaurant ? Keep on eating, you lucky guy ! I'm 70 & cannot eat super spicey foods anymore. I raised bell peppers this year, sadly missing my spicy pepper plants😢...lol.
he did go to places that are known for being outrageously cheap... most Koreans would spend around $6-12 USD for a typical meal and tourists will probably spend a bit more than that since restaurants tourists go to tend to be overpriced
Remember that it may be inexpensive to you but expensive to the locals. Had a customer from the US buy one Super 120 Wool suit at the shop I work in Brazil, he was like...Wow this is super cheap and of high quality, you people are lucky...for him it was 600 dollars, for us it's 2900 bucks, wich is 2 times our monthly income@@cubabound2049
💚 감사합니다 Mike, I'd like to thank you for an episode you did some time ago with Eric Nam. After looking him up then, I have been a very loyal and passionate fan of his ever since. You never know when and where the next influence will come from that brings such happiness. I'm very grateful for you having been a part of it, as I'm a fan who enjoys you as well. Beautiful & delicious South Korea, wish I lived there with every fiber of my being! 감사합니다 ❤谢谢

Hey Moke. Nothing but the best vida. You are navk in Seoul i see. Keep winning Mike. Everything looks delicious 😋🤤 Enjoy!! ❤️😙🐞 BTW: the prices blows my mind..
11:37 please give the name and location of the STEAK! place. I’ve searched that name for clues and had no luck! Anyone else on here recognize the place and know the name and address?
It would be great if you started a company that sold noodles, and sauces of all kinds because they're impossible to find in this country. We ALL want to enjoy these noodles as you do,,,,,,
Only in Korea Mikey Chen !!! Cheap Eats & delicious !!! The whole world is just busy ! No more Covid ! Were living again ! Thank you for sharing Mikey Chen !!!

Oh yeah I forgot about his restaurants!!!
He was playing fast and loose with money from the restaurant.
He goes where he is paid. Not where the food is great.
My Asian heart is crying from the fact you thought spaghetti was ramen. Hell to the no lol
I'd expect at least two pork chashus. One pork piece is so sad, but it does look tender and delicious at least.

Heading to Korea in the spring. Putting this on the list 😊
Happy Halloween everyone. Stay safe out there tonight.
The buffet looks good. We have a lot of Korean (buy by the pound) lunch options here in DC that look similar.
Are they cheap or expensive?
because of korean food .. philippines has tons of unli bbqs and hot pots now

When you dunked the egg sandwich into the potato soup my soul died a bit because I don't have that right now.
Even the cheap eats in Seoul look amazing!! The buffet looks like wonderful way to try different koean dishes when traveling solo 🥢🥢🥢
You had me at unlimited jajangmyeon dude.
Unlimited beer. Forget the food. I go for the beer

Obliviously you have sponsorship to advertise these places.

I want to try more Korean food, I have only had one dish so far 😢
What's the address to Steak! ? 😅
I am loving korean food but in LA it’s not that cheap so I do want to go to Korean to eat everything
I'm doing the spicy seafood noodle soup one. That's my favorite thing to get at a Korean Chinese place
Hey Mike,
What is the Steak BBQ place called? and where is it located in?
Thanks Mike, Great Content
Mikey: now I have a ton more cheap foodie stops in Seoul! I especially like the buffet!
so glad you are eating again in SK
I can't even buy something for $3 at the grocery store, especially all you can eat.
Curious, what is the reason for dipping the noodles rather than the sauce just being on them already?
Japanese style noodle dish made to be eaten that way(According to the Japanese people)
Cause the soup is quite thick and much richer than normal ramen soups. So it’ll be quite salty if you pour the noodles inside the soup
So the noodle keeps its freshness and chewyness.

Jjm is good but you feel like shite after. There’s a reason why it’s ayce, most people can’t even eat more than a bowl.
Beautiful 👌👌👌
Is Jajangmyeon spicy?
no
It's not, au contraire, it's kind of sweet. That's why Mike added dry chili pepper powder to give it a kick.
It can be spicy, but the Korean version is usually more savory with a hint of sweetness. Maybe think rich soy sauce with a hint of sweetness?🤷🏻♂️
I hope you all have or had a great day and night ❤️ in Jesus Christ name I pray amen ❤️🙏

Maybe for the people 'living' in Korea, not for the people looking for a short trip I guess.
