Best please continue on making ANSYS complete CFD static structrual and CFX for the starters... also make videos regarding realtime problems as faced and solved with ansys
Please upload more videos sir. I will be waiting for your videos and as soon as you upload I will try it do in ansys. I like the way you teach and especially the theory part. please continue to do this good work. it helps many students like me
Thank you very much for this great video and explanation! That is very informative. I am still wondering about the last part, why the crack growth is faster with more substeps. This really doesn't make sense physically to me. This means we cannot simulate actual crack growth rates and know when our part is going to break in reality... Would you agree? Thank you very much again.
Thanks a lot for your wonderful video. I am following the tutorial to simulate laboratory testing on the rock. Is this possible to study the crack propagation in 2way coupling of structural and fluent? Regards,
Good video sir. I have to check crack propagation in post tensioned concrete beam how to simulate that? how to initiate the corner crack or side crack ? Thank you.
Great Work! I would very much appreciate if you can explain to us how to calculate the crack opening stress and the maybe singular/non singular stress terms for this example? Thank you in advance
@@mericbuyukkoyuncu385 Thank you very much for your prompt response. Yes for both i suppose, (or in other words, how can we compare the opening stress for the simulation from ansys with analytical solution?) your explanation would be greatly appreciated.
Nice video, quite useful by the way. My point is if the same steps you need to use if you are trying to check crack growth analysis under fatigue conditions. What about XFEM method? Anyway, many thanks, I've subscribed.
I try to do smart crack for composite material, but it can't work for pre-meshed crack at smart crack. It will appear yellow color. How can I to solve it? Thanks!
Hello, I am simulating a crack in the inner surface of a pipe.I followed the steps in your video but the question mark in Smart crack growth is not removed and I don't know what happens. Could you help me with this?. Thanks
Hello, thank you for your great video. I have a question: what you call "fracture toughness", it is rather the "threshold stress intensity factor" right? Bevause your crack did not grow for SIF value below the value you enter in Ansys ("Critical rate")
Just here to say thank you Meric! Good work!
Thank you for your feedback

Auto time stepping has to be on for static crack growth.
Good to see you again
Thank you for your nice comment

Regards,
appreaciate your contiribution !!
Great work sir,
Can you please do some work on recent developments in honeycomb structures.
thank you so much.
Could you create explanation video how to compute the triaxiality stress around the crack tip ?
It is a great video sir!!. Can you please explain what all changes we have to make for fatigue crack growth with Paris' law...
How can we make it so that the specimen cracks completely? Also thank you for this video.
thank you for the vedio. can you make vedio on boundary condition on sandwich composite plate
Hi,
Thanks for the video!!!.
Could you make a video on crack growth in Pipeline?
Thank you very much sir, very useful
Excelent content. Thanks for sharing

your videos are more informatic and useful. it would be great if u could share the ansys file with us bcz it will helpful for continuous practicing.

Thank you! Are you asking for hand calculations for critical stress intensity factor or critical stress value for crack growth ?

@@aimanhadi2423 I will upload couple of videos when I have a chance. One of them will be related to analytical calculations
@@mericbuyukkoyuncu385 thank you very much for. I will be looking forward to it.
That s another great video!
Thank you !
Hello, can you help me ? So, I need to know how to simulate and study crack growth in bearing with ANSYS
Why does the crack grow linear? I would assume an exponential growth because the cross section gets smaller with increased crack?!

Can we use it for elasto plastic fracture toughness measurement according to ASTM 1820?
What mean K1 K2 K 3 is the mode denoted
Thank you for this video, what about arbitrary crack? can you teach us through a video?
If I want to make composite material crack propagation. Can use the smart crack ? If not, can give me some methods to do it. Thank you!!

Please do we have smart crack suite in ANSYS 19.2
So nice session... 🙏

hello sir, can you please make a video on crack propagation in composite with predefined side crack in ansys or matlab? thank you
Hello sir
I have some doubts regarding fatigue analysis
Why mode 3 is bigger than mode 1 my anlaysys is in mode 1
Thanks you sir... 🙏💐
great job
Thanks
awesome, it helped as lot
Great! Thank you!

Very well, thanks
3MPa√mm is correct?
Great..
