- Modal Analysis of PLate in Ansys 19. Also, natural frequency and resonance are explained. Analytical calculations of the natural frequency of the plate are compared to Ansys results.

Your way of explanation is very good 👌🏻
Thanku very much sir.... That's a very informative video and very well presented as well.
Thank you for your nice comments
Thank you, Meric!
thank you i had only one hour to do the assignment
this made it short for me
Great content, thank you!
Do you have a reference for your analytical equations that you could share?
Thanks for your video
In my case, i have to apply a frequency vibration 18 kHz at centre of the plate. Then find the vibration path of maximum peak to peak amplitude from center point to edge of the plate.
it is a perfect video and explanation is very good. thanks for this video.
It would be very helpful if you could do video on modal analysis with different edge condition. I am searching such content from long time and unable to find it. please consider this as my request.
Thank you for your nice comments, I added this topic to one of my next projects.
@@mericbuyukkoyuncu385 thank you sir. Currently I am working on my Mtech thesis and I was about to quit this concept but just now I found your videos and inspired not to quit.. thanks a ton...
@@shreyasalagundi8901 Thank you Dear Shreyas, I am very happy when my videos helped and inspired my subscribes.
Thank you for the great video! Your guide helped me a lot! :-) Keep going!
Thank you for your nice comment
@@mericbuyukkoyuncu385 really nice thank you
Perfect!
Hello Meric, your videos are really helplful! thank you very much for your efforts.
Could you please mention which way should be followed for "stiffened plates"?
Thank you for your kind comments. Same one that I applied in the video. Just define the boundary conditions and go ahead. But it is really complex to make these analytical calculations for the stiffened ones.
@@mericbuyukkoyuncu385 does it matter if the model is shell or solid?
@@songulacar3461 I don't think that it matters. Just apply the boundary conditions and solve it. But analytical formulations should be changed. I need to check it.
@@mericbuyukkoyuncu385 hello Meric. your video is a lifesaver. Please were you able to find out for shell or solid
Thank you very much, can you calcule this of the wind turbine.
Thankyou sir
How to do calculation for Stiffened plates for modal analysis?
Tough topic
hi sir
nice video great stuff
can you please explain the calculation of modal analysis for rectangular hallow box of aluminium materal
hi meric, could you compare the external force = first natural frequency to form a resonance
i am interested to see the failure of the plate .please guide me
very good😍
hmm, I have a drone frame and I don't want to resonance it with my 4 motors (165hz) frequencies. Which one (6 natural frequencies) frequence I can consider?
thank you, very useful
Hello, i have a question about modal analysis in ANSYS. How Different running modal analysis with pre stress static structural and non pre stress static sturctural?
How to apply a force in this case?
Hey Meric,
i am trying to following your steps. but the simplysupported boundary condition is grey/shadowed and therefore i cannot insert it. do you know what can be the cause?
i am using Workbench 2019 R3
Hello,
Are you using solid model or shell model ?
If you are using solid model, you may not see.
@@mericbuyukkoyuncu385 how can i select/ change to shell model ?
I just generated the geometry and followed your steps.
in solution it says solid186 Elements.
@@mericbuyukkoyuncu385 and actually my final goal is to find frequencies of a plate in water. Do have any idea how one can do it?
@@umanggupta950 hello,
In design modeler, go to the concept and extrude your sketch by using "surface from sketches" option. Like in the video. That makes your model shell
@@umanggupta950 I do not have knowledge about under water situtation. You need to check the literature. But I think, natural frequency will not change if your boundary conditions are the same. Probably harmonic analysis will be different.
müthiş
Thank you sir
why did you select total deformation 4 for mode(1,2). Doesn't total deformation 4 won't be mode(4,1) ??
sonunda bir Türk buldum dedim Ingilizce çıktı :D , neyse ki Ingilizcce biliyorum,
teşekkürler
Umarım anlaşılır olmuştur:) kolay gelsin
