Can I ask why did you define boundary condition for the bottom nodes in two different discpacement ? once you defined Z=0 and then add an other discpalacement condition for Y=3mm . I assumed we could define both in one displacement condition, is there any specific reason to divide it in two ? Thank you

Very useful application of composite plate buckling equation that has D11, D22 in it. This gives a hint that adding more plies or adding a core with increase the D (plate bending rigidity) values of layup.

Hello, Thank you very much for sharing. I tried to apply the video exactly and when I try to apply the node selection at 13:53 minutes, I cannot get the same result. The same nodes are not selected. I wonder if it is because the Ansys version is different?

Hello sir, I am confised with material properties.. We have defined values for E11 and E22. Why is that we consider E33 to be same as E22? V12 is (epsilon y / epsilon x) when stress in x is applied We found V21 which is (epsilon x / epsilon y) when stress in y is applied. Why is it we consider in asys Poissons ratio YZ to be V21 = 0.0599?

I liked the video, I am having a problem studying an assembly where one of the pieces is made of composite material. When placing the assembly in the ACP module, when I go to the setup only the part to which I am going to apply the composite material appears (I understand that it is because I defined it as a surface previously), but when I link the ACP module to the structural static I only see links the composite part and not the entire assembly.

Hello, thank you for your videos. But I have some questions about ACP. I am using ACP for my final project so I will put ACP in to the skin of the wing with woven material. And the interna structure just using general fiber. But when I try to do static structural analysis there so many error. That I don't know how to fix it. Maybe may you help me with that, so I can ask many questions more

sorry, can i ask a question? how can i create a material with only E1, E2, v12 and G12? because in CLT plane element don't consider the direction of Z axial. i used ACP and transform to shell element, but if a change the value of G23, the result under torsion won't be the same? but i should be the same. why? can you help me? thanks. and 1:02 how comes the formula of v23, because i used this formula to verify any composite material from google, it's all wrong.

Hello, thank you very much for this wonderful lecture. I have a question in the ANSYS program. I want to prepare, for example, a superimposed material in the form of a layer consisting of two materials, the first is fiber of any kind, and the other is a polymer material, with dimensions of 10 * 10 cm and a thickness of 2 cm. How do I calculate or how can I enter the volume fraction values For both subjects in the ANSYS program, for example, the first subject is 60% and the second subject is 40%. I hope you will help me in solving this problem. I mean, how can the volumetric fraction or weight ratios be calculated for each subject in the ANSYS program? With appreciation
