how do you cut the body into many part?

    Great tutorial 💪

    Thanks for the Video
However, to the best of my knowledge, the element through the thickness are better to be more than two elements or 3 nodes for more accurate results. Moreover, the cutting will bring the contacts to the solution equations and may consume more system recourses.

Have you considered using IsoGeometric analysis?

Why didn't you use multizone method to do the part decompositioning automatically?

I am just getting into the particulars of meshiing. General question: How much improvement in accuracy would you say is gained from going to the basic automatic meshing to this improvement? Thanks

I don't have a figure but it can be substantial. A way to figure it out, regardless of meshing is to try a convergence study.

hello sir , myself Roopal Singh from Bhopal, i am working on a deign for my MTech thesis or the design has been designed in ANSYS or done simulation but my meshing is getting error , i am following the meshing criteria and from the meshing criteria my meshing is not proper . is it there any formula or any numerical thing to calculate the element size of meshing so please help me

You put 5 sweep division for bolt holes and the flange has 2 divisions, then it will lead to hanging node inside, wouldn't that lead to some simulation error or is it okay to have hanging nodes..

He doesn't mention this but he is utilizing contacts between the various bodies because of the hanging nodes which is not ideal.

Do you need to specify shared topology in SpaceClaim after you divide the body into several bodies?

Can you please make video on oil flow analysis of a two stage reduction gearbox and as well as how to do a full assembly analysis or stackup analysis of a two stage reduction gearbox in Ansys workbench I am a student and need help in it

Too much work for meshing a simple geometry in 2021!

Are you suggesting just to go with automatic meshing ?
