It should've been Miley's Milky Milky Tour Vs Ariana's Sweetner tour, that's when both of them are at their vocal prime. But the results would be the same, Miley is better at the Mid/Low register, Ariana is better at the high/whistle register.

Contralto/Mezzo vs a very high Soprano??? I feel this does Miley no justice, she clearly articulated better and is far more versatile. Shiny can sing almost anything between Tenor and mezzo and even well into Soprano. Ariana is great but I feel that she has more flaws than people think and with the dominance of pop, people rarely look beyond high notes and runs & riff with grace notes.

Most videos of Miley here are from her concerts where she is always playful and not in the mood to do serious singing. I can show 10 better performances of Miley than these.

Ariana Grande is a better SINGER. She slays in every register low notes down to F3 Belts up to Bb5 and is now beginning to support more consistently up to C#5 Falsetto up to E6 and she SLAYS whistle register up to Eb7 and her comfort zone is up to B6. Even though miley has great depth and incredible support down to C#3!!!! and is consistent down to D3! and also has a great belt up to D5 consistently Ari is still better because she has more ease and a clearer prettier tone in all registers apart from low notes. (Miley is the queen of thoughs.) Miley just sounds more powerful up to D5 because she's a mezzo and ariana is a soprano. Ari has more ease and control but miley sounds stronger in her mid belts because Ari's range is wider and she's super powerful E5 nd up.
Miley wins. She has way more substance to her voice than this squeeky little guinea pig called ariana with her ear bursting high notes. It‘s not about what you are capable of, it‘s about what you do and miley sings way more comforting. Ariana‘s voice is poison to my ears when she goes up
Ariana's voice was shouty and squeaky back in her earlier days but her sweetener tour vocals have shown major improvement in that field and has even improved on her lower register with her recent collab with Barbra Streisand (who called her one of the best voices of our generation which is a HUGE compliment coming from a vocal legend). I think there will come a time where Ariana's voice isn't as "squeaky" as even her speaking voice is getting lower and changing (from her Givenchy ad).

Ariana is great but I feel that she has more flaws than people think and with the dominance of pop, people rarely look beyond high notes and runs & riff with grace notes.
Joseph Harris ariana has almost fixed ALL her flaws in her voice unlike miley. ariana is:
- less shouty
- less nasal
- less tension
- no raised larynx on belts above E5 / F5
- IMPROVED BELTS
- ease equal to HMT
- IMPROVED LOWS
- a glimse of her rarely used head voice
- WHISTLES
- improved breath control
- IMPROVED SUPPORT (she supports like 1 C5 / C#5 every night) [not to mention, she’s been supporting the D5 in fake smile lately and has some REALLY open E5s, F5s and F#5s. she even has a partially supported E5 which is INSANE. lol HMT unsupported B4s can’t relate]
Ariana is better technically, miley is only better in lows, she is pure throat in everything, ariana has better belts, tone(obvious), agility, head voice(even tho her hv is inexporable), falsetto, whistles, she supports higher, and she is a light lyric soprano supporting F#3s almost consistently every night. And hitting with ease Eb3s every night , Go Girl.

She is up there with Adele ( of course Adele has better chance at winning bcz of her huge career and experience ). And she can perform any kind of songs ( What even Adele can't/won't do. Neither will Beyonce , Rihanna or any other big shots. They can't/won't bcz if it doesn't go well they will be in deep shit). Listen to her cover of " I'll take care of you" at Sydney Opera Hall. Ariana Grande is a better SINGER. She slays in every register low notes down to F3 Belts up to Bb5 and is now beginning to support more consistently up to C#5 Falsetto up to E6 and she SLAYS whistle register up to Eb7 and her comfort zone is up to B6. Even though miley has great depth and incredible support down to C#3!!!! and is consistent down to D3! and also has a great belt up to D5 consistently Ari is still better because she has more ease and a clearer prettier tone in all registers apart from low notes. (Miley is the queen of thoughs.) Miley just sounds more powerful up to D5 because she's a mezzo and ariana is a soprano. Ari has more ease and control but miley sounds stronger in her mid belts because Ari's range is wider and she's super powerful E5 nd up.

Ariana's voice was shouty and squeaky back in her earlier days but her sweetener tour vocals have shown major improvement in that field and has even improved on her lower register with her recent collab with Barbra Streisand (who called her one of the best voices of our generation which is a HUGE compliment coming from a vocal legend). I think there will come a time where Ariana's voice isn't as "squeaky" as even her speaking voice is getting lower and changing (from her Givenchy ad).
