@@mayukowoodturning7644 That's part of what I admire about your work. While watching your videos, I often wonder why you're doing certain things. Then when I see the depth of your forethought and how clearly you have in mind where you're going with something, I'm even more impressed.
That one WOWED me. At first I was expecting wall art. Then a bowl. Then you made a base, split it in two and I thought ok, a vase. Then you made a lid with a handle. Pleasant surprises. The work of a master. Beautiful.
Great video, my brother! Gotta tell you, though; you scared the bejesus out of me when you first took it to bandsaw! Great looking piece, Sir. Beautiful!
Usually I watch these videos and the guys are making amazing things with primitive tools and a lot of awesome skill. Then I have to say that I can’t make that because I don’t have the skills. At least this time I can blame it on the tools and Maybe a little on the skills.
Really very nice. Like the others, it was a surprise cutting it down the middle. A bit disappointed with the lid though, a bit too plain after all that work.
Just a guess, but I'm gonna go with: Maple, Rosewood, Walnut, Wenge. There's another that could be Paduk, but I'm unsure. I'm likely wrong about a few, but if you'd want to replicate the look, going with those species would net you similar results.
I want to ask: do you have the finished piece in mind when you start, or do you go with what comes to mind as you work it? This artwork is amazing! Thank you so much for sharing it!
Forse vengono in sogno ? Un abbraccio !
Thank you sir, for showing us your magnificent skills. Would it be possible to have a 'bird's eye view' when you do the woodturning? We really get to see you shape the pieces from this view. Once again thank you for your work
I love the way you made me cringe from the very beginning. The first cringe was when I was in love with the pattern and it could have been a charcuterie board. The second cringe was when you cut the bowl in HALF😱😱😱😱!!! I WAS SICK! 😂😂😂 The end result was great but the handle didn't match the message of the piece. It's obtrusive to me. I don't like the shape. The lid appears to be plain compared to the rest of the artwork. It appears to be in need of subtle modifications that will add to the message of the art piece. Overall, it's fabulous!
Excellent!!!
