I just want you all to know, that he told me we could do this in one day and not to worry about anything planning-wise. "I got it covered" was the last I heard before I rocked up to this LMAO
When I did my first watercooled build, I planned out all the placement, and all the fittings in advance by modeling the thing in Blender (thanks Lian-Li for providing the CAD model for the case!) Everything fit exactly as expected, and there was no drilling involved! Just know that this not normal for watercooling, and it's all Roman's fault. It already started with the dent. The hole made it much worse. I'd say demand a new case! 😂
This collaboration was definitely really fun to watch especially with all the mishaps and funny moments. I definitely would love to see more of these types of videos in the future!
pure chaos I love it ! Though I worry about how those tubes risk to be slowly cut by the hole edges. Even with proper filling to remove shards, I believe cheap passthrough grommets are still needed since the plates are rather thin and those are flexible tubes susceptible to vibrations, shocks, gravity, water hammer, etc. At least, it's worth inspecting those points during a future circuit maintenance.
Totally ignorant Aussie here in terms of Deutsch. If the correct word was Erstbohrung, or something like it, for initial or first drilling, then I call it a "pilot hole." Pilot in this sense basically meaning guide, as in drilling a preliminary hole which guides all succeeding holes to align their proper position and destiny. Thank you kindly for your informative, educational, and entertaining videos. Edit: Also, any time one must cover an ugly hole, use either a paper bag or escutcheon plate. :)
Looking forward to part 2. The radiator support is a bit ... I don't know, for a €273 case. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice case. But ... According to the specs, it supports an 80mm thick rad (that is rad + fan) on the right, combined with a top AIO. So ... I guess drilling is intended by the manufacturer. The side rad drops to max 60mm when the GPU is longer than 317mm. The top radiator can have a max thickness of 65mm, before it interferes with the RAM. This is why we watch build videos. So we can see someone else encounter the problems :D.
Do you remember the start here box. That's the pump holder mount for the side vertical 420....read the instruction guide for the case. Or get case without the stupid bottom fan mount angled thingy......come on...
You think yourself: " Small form factor is too hard, I build in a ig case", and then it becomes small- form- factor in a big case because you wnat to route everything nicely... :)
Iam one of those germans who only watch your english videos, since 90% of YT- videos iam watching are in english anyway. Build starts right when a brand new packaged case looks like Staplerfahrer Klaus had a full day with it :) Well that white case would have get scratches anyway...
"...not Havn's fault...." The box is not damaged on the outside. Unless it was repackaged between Havn's production and the end user, yes, it is Havn's fault. The sealing tape on that corner is bubbled, but the box structure is not damaged. Either way the outer packaging should be able to take abuse and not damage in the interior product. That it the actual purpose of the packaging. Details matter.
TAKE note: Still using EK Water cooling products as do I No matter what is said about the company, the products are top notch for water cooling and I will continue to buy and support them Pilot hole is "starting point" or whatever when drilling "It pilots the bit where it needs to be" (longer explanation) Editors: awesome Ghostbusters song lol
20:00 when drilling steel you want slow speed but heavy pressure, best result isn't a billion ultra fine chips but one long ribbon of razor sharp steel. Also faster doing that than it is just fastest drill speed.
generally long chips are not desirable, shorter ones carry away the heat. Also their size depends on the type of tool used, what material it's drilling, etc...
I like their cheeky smiles xd there is definitely something going on in there haha , you want me to stay longer in Berlin? time for dinner haha cant wait part 2

😂 well at least there will be 2 videos now
Hahaha...well, now you know what he is😄😄😄
Good times! ✌️♥️😎

His name is actually Der Brauer, which means you could have expected this watercooled concoction. In all seriousness looking forward to part2!

This video has a very strong 'couple on vacation decide to film a home video' vibe.
8:40 "screw with confidence"
old reference.
so you're telling me that the weird aircool gimmick case is not good for a crazy watercooled machine? 😂
A classic "TÜV sagt nein" video
i was not ready to see tool shown in thumbnail get use that early into the video
Me neither 😂😂
@20:00. Perhaps should have watched Project Farm’s video on step bits 😂. Looking forward to see how this progresses 😊

In persian we have a proverb which says, potter drinks in broken jar, Now we're seeing Der bauer doesn't build in O11.
I don't know why but these two have chemistry, it would be a missed opportunity not to team up regularly.
Well that was fun
I'm looking forward to next weeks, attempt
Come on der8auer when a girl ask you if her hair is ok you don't just freeze! 🤣🤣

This is what always happens whenever two Germans meet in an online video game, they speak English to each other. 🤣

Think outside the box: Radiator doesn't need to have 3 fans.

You just needed to put fans on the back of the radiator, and paint the matrix of the radiator white . No need to drill
Most Epic Build Video EVER!!! Pure Awesomeness!

you seem work well together.
cant wait for the 2nd/final part!
What's that backpack vacuum cleaner at 21:40?
The company that cleans at grizzly uses it. I have no clue but it's some Ghostbusters shit 😂
Always plan for nothing going to plan, lolololololol
Nice collab. I'm curious what hardware u run on ur own rig.
Drilling holes is my passion
11:30 you can only use it to scrue it up
And this, my friends, is "German humor."
Going to need to get a bigger case
I bet the urge to get a laser cutter/plasma table etc. was building up during this
@19:50 Eurobeat with the initial drilling would have been appropriate
Oooh, I see a box from MO-RA 4 600 in the back, is there a video expected on it?
Yesss 😬
It's very nice to see Joe Robey i hope he gonna do some good water cooling stuf in the future.
19:46 In English: Pilot Hole
hahaha...She is a crazy engineer
A lot of "first times" for Roman in this video :))))))
The gloves are to be used to slap other TH-camrs into a PC building duel
Geezus get a room you too....
Relax, we're really just friends :)

Sure...;)
Yo, Roman, u're kinda nervous!! WTF????
German jokes are awesome :)
You should work in watercooling LOL
Goth GF
LOL turn the knob and not hers and it goes the opposite direction.
Hilarious that someone as experienced as you can make such a 'pig's ear' of this just because you want to put watercooling in. Be real, go air cooled!
Love german producing... 😏😎
Be gentle thats what she said 😂 (English joke sorry)
Hit like and subscribe after her first phrase. Yeah she is funny!😊

A goldmine video with a lot of "that's what she said" statements.....
What a horrible case.
you dont like poorly made, poorly designed poorly packaged fishtank cases? why?
roman with only one tattoed arm looks bad now
i bet your girlfriend has some toughts about this video

What a beutiful square hole to destroy they unified looks of all of the case. Only master could do that
Her smile, wheezing laughter, tattoos, black nail polish, just perfect!

bahahaha
beetlejuice is cooler
someone's gettin' laid boys!!! = )
As if he needs that considering who he is in a relationship with. He is with a 10, why would he downgrade?
laid off from the case packaging design department?
He's already in a relationship with someone that had to show him how to use the dishwasher to clean the vaseline off his extreme OC PC parts
