(I'm Canadian, and he and his daughter (?) Bianca, were pretty prevalent in mall stores in the 80s/90s). I didn't know this, but he has some scandal behind his name 😱

I live in Florida now but I am from Cleveland, Ohio. I am 67 years old. Your IJ Fox coat is from our IJFox store that was in downtown Cleveland. It was near our Public Square and The May Company department store. It was a long narrow store with different levels. You took the elevator up and the best (furs) were on the top floor. Cloth coats on the main level. I still have a raincoat from there. My daddy bought my mom a fox fur stole. The kind where the mouth bites the tail. He also bought her mink stole from there. I bought rabbit fur coats from there in the 70's when they were popular. Monograms were complimentary. Thanks for the wonderful blast from the good old past !! Oh, also I had a doll I named Laci. She was Tiny Tears younger sister.

That black velvet dress is cool. I had one similar in the 1980's, it was suede with a leather rouched waist but had 3/4 length sleeves, zipped up the back. It came from Wilson's Leather. It is still in my closet and it's a size 5 which I haven't seen in a bit but I loved it so still got it. I need to Marie Kondo that thing eventually.

Maybe Persian Lamb. My mom had one made before we left Greece in 1957. The pelts are all hand matched, but it must weigh 20#. My mom gave to me. It was just too heavy for her. Nygard Collection - I think that might be Peter Nygard. A high end fashion company. The lamb skin coat, with the mink collar looks like it is from a good furrier, and very high quality. That is a lovely piece. Vintage fur is the only fur, IMO. I just found your channel tonight, and I subscribed. It is such fun.
I really love the yellow 40’s style shirt, I would totally wear it!! I am a little shy about wearing vintage stuff because I’m still in school, and I’m more comfortable in my regular, old Nike sweats and t-shirts, but something like that would be nice because it’s not super obvious it’s vintage, but I know it is, so I could kind of be dressed in vintage wear, and under everyone’s noses. I also love the plaid crop waisted jacket, and it would TOTALLY be something I would wear either durning the winter, or in summertime when I am camping! I just watched more of the video, and I also really LOVE the fur jacket!! So pretty! Also, the black dress with the satin on it with the shoulder pads, my mom’s bathrobe is from 1990 and it’s shoulder pads look identical. Not sure if that’s any help.

Laci I have to ask, how tall are you? Every piece of clothing with few exceptions fits and looks wonderful on you! Apparently the vintage clothes are true to size for the most part so you are able to pick the right ones! Without a doubt the next to last floral dress was my favorite! Wear them all in good health! Do you dry clean that coat with the fur collar with the monogram before you wear it or do you have a method for cleaning it? I'm weird about thrift store stuff in that it all has to be washed and cleaned before I will wear it. I worry about bed bugs and things of that nature. It's probably me but I'm a nurse so I'm always germ germ conscious on things

Yeah, get rid of the perfume! Lots of people are allergic, or sensitive, since you can’t technically be allergic to a smell, to vintage AKA early Avon, perfume. It causes headache, earache and runny nose. Right next to your face, like the pin would be, would probably cause you to become sensitive yourself. Once you develop fragrance sensitivity, it never goes away.

Concerning Mr. Puffer Fish, have you considered making him into a unique locket brooch? Seems like after a good cleaning, a photo would fit well in the spot where the perfume used to be.

I think the Minnie Mouse Pillow is a pajama pillow,. In the morning we zipped up our pajamas in them and placed them on our beds
