@Antonio Iniguez No she isn't, her ev's are set to max so her Pokémon would easily out speed yours and the attacks would be increased. She is also the first champion programmed to switch Pokémon almost guaranteed to faint yours. By far she is the hardest champion to beat, the only way it would be easy is if you knew her Pokémon. But that's no fun. Also most people who beat her used there legendary (palkia or dialga) which in my opinion ruins the fun
@@SamGaming360 If all pokemon are level 50 it would be easy though assuming you had an ice type for garchomp. Rest of her team can be beaten pretty easily with pretty common pokemon types with the exception of spiritomb. She is still by far the hardest champion though, because of how high level her pokemon are and how generally good they are.

oh right, in gen 4 esp, they always used Full restores when their mon is around 30% or less HP or something like that, which meant I had to pln carefully NOT to hurt te opponent into less than 30%, and make sure to BEAT with a strong move before the trianer has a chance to use Full Restore, cuz more than half the time they'll do that. Even trainers besides the champ does this.
I was barely under leveled too, but i had a Garchomp too and i used the last rare candies i had too make it at the same level as her Garchomp lmao, very memorable battle 😁
I beat Wallace in emerald on my first time. I was happy, roaming in Mt. Meteor searching for a bagon. I saw Steven standing far inside and was curious. So I clicked to talk. Biggest mistake.

Red looks more than he actually does. Half of his team could be taken out quickly by my Tyranitar. Every Pokémon I had could beat grass-types except for Tyranitar, so Venusaur was out. Snorlax is just bulky. Have a rock, steel or ghost-type and Snorlax is out. The only Pokémon of his that gave me trouble was Blastoise, since I had nothing for water-types.

Iris was WAY harder than Alder and Lance. Her team was faster and higher leveled for one, not to mention her pokemon were holding items and status inducing moves. I remember her battle very well and it was tough.

Yes someone else who thinks so! I totally murdered her and ohko'ed most of her pokémon and I'm just ??? IDK if it was because I spent a really long time grinding because I didn't think I was ready... And it turns out I ohko'ed almost all of the elite four... -seriously I rekt them, ohko'ed first 3, had a little difficulty with the last guy because of the typing, and Cynthia was a walk in the park-
Cynthia is Boss 💛 The fact that the Gym Leaders, the Elite Four and Cynthia are strong and challenging oppondnts makes the Sinnoh Games so great as they are in my opinion :)
Only Cynthia gave me a challenge maybe due to my habit of trying to get the best pokemon, I literally had the same team besides Milotic and Spiritomb. The gym leaders were easy because they had like 2 of their gyms type and one unrelated so with a diverse team you could compensate. But gens 1-4 are are doubt the harder regions.
Gods... that's half a week of grinding in my life I don't want back... Finally get through Sinnoh E4, only for Cynthia to just DEMOLISH me... It's because of Gen 4 that any time I do a Nuzlocke or just a normal LP, I AM MORE FRUGAL THAN MY JEWISH NEIGHBORS! Seriously, by the time I get done grinding to 50-55 (depending on Gen), I have more than enough to get about 20+ Full Restores and 30 or so Revives, with other items to help out. This coming from a guy who didn't know about the Physical/Special Split... which explained why Fire Blast on Infernape did nothing....
Gaming Master I agree that cynthias is awesome. She probably the most epic battle along with Blue. Blues theme is great too. All of the champions were great besides Lance and Alder in my opinion.
Any champion, or any trainer, that specializes in one type is SO easy! For Lance AND Iris, all you need is a Dragon-Type Pokémon with the ability that prevents it from being confused, and knows Outrage! OP combo there!

I feel like people who say diantha is hard without an Exp share haven't played the older games Here's how I would rank the champions from easiest to hardest 9. Diantha- With or without the exp share, her team is easy. You are given a mega lucario, and, if you were early, a mega blaziken with speed boost, add in a Charizard and a greninja... 8. Wallace- From Pokemon emerald, wallace only used water types... He was easy too 7. Lance- 2 words. Ice. Types. 6. N-(simply because ghetsis was 100x harder) 5. Iris- she was actually a decent challenge because of her movepool 4. Steven- his Pokemon were bulky, high leveled, well rounded champion overall 3. Blue/Gary- this battle took me 10+ tries (glitchless ofc) -his types are very well rounded 2.Kukui- Lowkey a lot of people sleep on him, he's hard! (I think I spelled his name wrong) 1.Cynthia- the God of champions. She made garchomp look like some legendary Pokemon, spiritomb is a bitch, even in B&W, and just everything about her was a challenge

I feel like it is important to point out that despite the low levels of Lance's pokemon, in HGSS you feel underlevel ALL THE TIME. I had to grind often in the game to come even close to beating his 3 dragonites
Agreed on the first part; the level curve wasn’t improved from GSC at all. Then again, Ampharos and Lapras make a good sweeping combo that’s only seen in Johto, so it’s not bad at low levels. I won with most of my Pokemon at level 35. Only my Ampharos and Dragonair were at 40.
Ik red isnt a champion and no he wasnt very difficult but red impacted me a lot. I was just told to go there after gary and then after 10 minutes in this mountain I found a protagonist. the protagonist you just played in red, blue, yellow. And then bam a level 83 pikachu pops up and destroys my traded lapras with one move. I still won but damn the shock i had from seeing him

I beat Diantha just by fucking around and having my team match hers. my driftblim fought her hawlucha my nidoking fought her tyrantrum (only time I had to use a potion) my aurorus fought hers my ferrothorn fought her gourgeist my goodra fought hers my gardevoir fought hers
But for some teason you cant unequip those FUCKING SKATES I know you can use the d-pad, but I just naturally use the circle pad Those goddamn skates make the game way harder, i can barely navigate, let alone dodge annoying trainers

I believe lance needs more discussion because damn HGSS was ridiculously tough in that rematch for starters rematch elite 4 members were lvl 58-66 but lance was 68-75 sure lance didn’t have the setup Pokemon like iris (although a dragon dancing gyrados will ruin your life) his team is a nightmare a garchomp and Salamance to grind you down to a point of little hope a bulky altaria that will end you if you have no ice typing and of course the meteoring dragonite sure this is a rematch but however this is the only real way to train for red so it’s basically you sweep will-karen then you get to lance then you have to really put to thought how you’re going to beat him because salamance and garchomp are fast to a point where your Pokémon with ice type moves are wiped before your eyes so I don’t think it makes him the hardest champion but it really puts him higher on the list
He was quite easy if you got the red Gyarados, trained it to level 44 for Dragon Dance and then spam it until you got 6x attack and speed. His Gyarados would constantly use Dragon Pulse, which would be weak thanks to Gyarados’s not so great SPA but alright SPD. But face it, what kid bothered with stat boosting moves?
Steven Dehoyos 100% agree he rapes any team comp you bring he is a nuzlocke killer because there is almost no way to get through without grinding to really high levels

If you picked Bulbasaur and Got a pikachu Blues team is set the only thing that you have that isn’t super affective against Blue is Alakazam and since bug sucks in Gen 1 there’s no need to get one, you’re Pikachu (that should of evolved) can take care of Alakazam.
It’s always fun to look back at old videos, because now with hindsight, we can put Kukui at 2 and move everyone except Cynthia down one... and Leon I guess...
Honestly,getting through the Elite Four just to battle Professor Kukui is too much hard work. EDIT:Not to mention he uses the FULL EVOLVED FORM OF THE STARTER THAT IS STRONGER THAN YOUR STARTER YOU PICKED
Cynthias match 4 mein my game was most memorable not only was it super hard she knocked everyone of mine out except infernape who only had flare blitz left both of us were in the red I used my last flare blitz and we fainted at the same time but cynthias kind heart allowed it 2 be a victory
I've been doing a play through of platinum so I could beat the hardest trainer of all time. NOW YOUR TELLING ME SHE GOT NERFED FROM DIAMOND AND PEARL?!?!?
She didn't really get nerfed in Platinum. Even when you account for the reduction in levels, she remains the toughest. I thought I had a pretty decent lineup with Houndoom, Gengar, Magnezone, Togekiss, Garchomp, and Empoleon, all Levels 57-59, and I did pay some attention to EV training (well, about as much as you can for an in-game team which is not much attention at all), but I still ended up losing 4 Pokemon (only Empoleon and Houndoom survived) partly due to critical hits and switch-outs. I think everyone is just grateful that her Togekiss in Platinum had Hustle and not Serene Grace.
nah cynthia is so hard because most people skip past these events that they should have done like the cave where u meet the girl with the kadabra near where u find gible and also skip other events and u can get earthquake at the cave u find gible

Wouldn't the player in S/M & US/UM be the most powerful champion? With very rare and high level pokemon compared to most champions? But that doesn't matter since the other champions have to use the same team with the same level, but facing someone with a solgaleo/lunala and necrozma would be a real challenge let alone the rest of their team.

Alder (not really easy or harder -- kinda stands a middle ground) 5. Blue (he was difficult when I fought him as a kid... since I was only like 8) 6. Lance (3 dragonites? Are you for real? Even with an overleveled Jynx it took me forever to finish this fight.) 7. Steven/Wallace (I so regret choosing Treecko...) 8. Kukui (Kukui is a prime example of people overleveling and then complaining that everything is too easy.) 9. Cynthia (I got so angry with this Arceus-damned, shit-grinned champion that I legit cracked my screen out of fury. Pure agony and acrimony.)

Only Cynthia gave me a challenge maybe due to my habit of trying to get the best pokemon, I literally had the same team besides Milotic and Spiritomb. The gym leaders were easy because they had like 2 of their gyms type and one unrelated so with a diverse team you could compensate. But gens 1-4 are are doubt the harder regions.

Gods... that's half a week of grinding in my life I don't want back... Finally get through Sinnoh E4, only for Cynthia to just DEMOLISH me... It's because of Gen 4 that any time I do a Nuzlocke or just a normal LP, I AM MORE FRUGAL THAN MY JEWISH NEIGHBORS! Seriously, by the time I get done grinding to 50-55 (depending on Gen), I have more than enough to get about 20+ Full Restores and 30 or so Revives, with other items to help out. This coming from a guy who didn't know about the Physical/Special Split... which explained why Fire Blast on Infernape did nothing....

9. Diantha- With or without the exp share, her team is easy. You are given a mega lucario, and, if you were early, a mega blaziken with speed boost, add in a Charizard and a greninja...
8. Wallace- From Pokemon emerald, wallace only used water types... He was easy too
7. Lance- 2 words. Ice. Types.
6. N-(simply because ghetsis was 100x harder)
5. Iris- she was actually a decent challenge because of her movepool
4. Steven- his Pokemon were bulky, high leveled, well rounded champion overall
3. Blue/Gary- this battle took me 10+ tries (glitchless ofc) -his types are very well rounded
2.Kukui- Lowkey a lot of people sleep on him, he's hard! (I think I spelled his name wrong)

I feel like it is important to point out that despite the low levels of Lance's pokemon, in HGSS you feel underlevel ALL THE TIME. I had to grind often in the game to come even close to beating his 3 dragonites
Agreed on the first part; the level curve wasn’t improved from GSC at all. Then again, Ampharos and Lapras make a good sweeping combo that’s only seen in Johto, so it’s not bad at low levels. I won with most of my Pokemon at level 35. Only my Ampharos and Dragonair were at 40.
Ik red isnt a champion and no he wasnt very difficult but red impacted me a lot. I was just told to go there after gary and then after 10 minutes in this mountain I found a protagonist. the protagonist you just played in red, blue, yellow. And then bam a level 83 pikachu pops up and destroys my traded lapras with one move. I still won but damn the shock i had from seeing him

I believe lance needs more discussion because damn HGSS was ridiculously tough in that rematch for starters rematch elite 4 members were lvl 58-66 but lance was 68-75 sure lance didn’t have the setup Pokemon like iris (although a dragon dancing gyrados will ruin your life) his team is a nightmare a garchomp and Salamance to grind you down to a point of little hope a bulky altaria that will end you if you have no ice typing and of course the meteoring dragonite sure this is a rematch but however this is the only real way to train for red so it’s basically you sweep will-karen then you get to lance then you have to really put to thought how you’re going to beat him because salamance and garchomp are fast to a point where your Pokémon with ice type moves are wiped before your eyes so I don’t think it makes him the hardest champion but it really puts him higher on the list

He was quite easy if you got the red Gyarados, trained it to level 44 for Dragon Dance and then spam it until you got 6x attack and speed. His Gyarados would constantly use Dragon Pulse, which would be weak thanks to Gyarados’s not so great SPA but alright SPD. But face it, what kid bothered with stat boosting moves?

She didn't really get nerfed in Platinum. Even when you account for the reduction in levels, she remains the toughest. I thought I had a pretty decent lineup with Houndoom, Gengar, Magnezone, Togekiss, Garchomp, and Empoleon, all Levels 57-59, and I did pay some attention to EV training (well, about as much as you can for an in-game team which is not much attention at all), but I still ended up losing 4 Pokemon (only Empoleon and Houndoom survived) partly due to critical hits and switch-outs. I think everyone is just grateful that her Togekiss in Platinum had Hustle and not Serene Grace.
Cynthia legit made me cry. Took me a week to beat her. She a bad bitch.

I agree that it’s possible, seeing as how I had to grind my team in Pearl recently to level 50 each just to beat the entire league.

But that doesn't matter since the other champions have to use the same team with the same level, but facing someone with a solgaleo/lunala and necrozma would be a real challenge let alone the rest of their team.
Well the easiest Champion to beat is definitely Hau (for me anyway).

1. Diantha (lol EZ)
2. Hau (would've been better if they gave him the starter with an advantage)
3. Iris (sweeped her with my Vanilluxe)
4. Alder (not really easy or harder -- kinda stands a middle ground)
5. Blue (he was difficult when I fought him as a kid... since I was only like 8)
6. Lance (3 dragonites? Are you for real? Even with an overleveled Jynx it took me forever to finish this fight.)
7. Steven/Wallace (I so regret choosing Treecko...)
8. Kukui (Kukui is a prime example of people overleveling and then complaining that everything is too easy.)
9. Cynthia (I got so angry with this Arceus-damned, shit-grinned champion that I legit cracked my screen out of fury. Pure agony and acrimony.)

1. Blue (glitch and you win)
2. Diantha (a perfect example of what happens when game developers half-ass making a champion)
3. Hau (a perfect example of what happens when game developers half-ass making a rival)
4. Wallace (to this day, still not entirely sure why they put a Water type champion after a Water type Gym Leader)
5 Alder (not exactly weak but not exactly strong either)
6. Lance (good type and move balancing kept screwing with my team)
7. Iris (her team was surprisingly more trouble than I initially thought they'd be)
8. Steven (the moment you realize Steel types are no longer to clunky useless paperweights they've appeared to be)
9. Kukui (what to do to stop people overleveling then complaining that everything's too easy)
10. Cynthia (the moment where you just want to walk into the nearby woods and cuss)
I had trouble with Hau. But that's mainly because I didn't use my starter against his starter. His Tauros was a real pain tho.
Hau wasn't the Champion, he was just the last opponent before you got the title.
To me, Blue is so much easier than anyone else, the only time i lost to him is when i was like 5. His Arcanine litteraly got Leer.
