Omg yes the Ghetsis battle. I beat him in a pinch, but my friend on the other hand... Has been stuck on him since 2012... And then he decided to quit playing Pokemon for good ;^;.
Tianna Woo he must of had the suckiest levels in the world then cosidering all my lucarios and riolus are LV. 100. (If you find an ultra rare hotspot for 2 pokemon groups and one of them lucario, which I did, you can breed a team of lucarios and riolus easily)
Diamonds ore us and if you're sick of the grind you can strap on an action replay / powersaves and give yourself an EXP modifier. (DS action replay is a permnanant change until reboot and forcing cheats on/off, powersaves on the 3DS Is always temporary and needs constant updating)
Especially without fairy Pokémon around. Battling Kingdra is a chore because for Juan’s it’s a hit-or-mist fest combined with the Chesto + Rest. Clair is much more brutal, some of my teams has to be sacrificed to buy time to heal/revive others. I think I’m lucky in one instance where my zap cannon connect and I was able to dish out thunderbolt etc despite being healed afterward.
I really shat bricks, with Ghetsis, Cause i didn't buy that many healing items, and so when I had to fight him right after N...... Holy Shit this bring bad memories
117blingbling White was my first game I had three good pokemon my starter, and both legends (my brother had Black and gave his reshiarm to me) Try having abosultle no healing items and not knowing all type match ups.
***** my issue was that the only thing I had was a thunderbolt on my raichu which was regularly effective due to dragon type. I had no ice moves/types. Not to mention my was charizard, with no weapon against dragonite
C. Teare 3 underleveled (and still evolved) Dragonites with hacked stats and abilities. I do feel your pain. Certain trainers, Gym Leaders and even Champions are notorious for having outright unfair (or even illegal) move pools and IVs.The only strategy I found to work effectively AND consistently against the dragon master was to either use Jynx (Ice Punch), Sudowoodo (Rock Slide) or Gyrados (Ice Fang/Dragon *insert move name here*).
Firion316 yeah, that and I wasnt well experienced in HG and SS considering that it was only my 3rd pokemon game. Type advantages and ivs along with differences between special and physical moves were things I wasnt completly knowledgable yet. Taking on a dragon master doesnt help the situation.
I love those Game cube pokemon games and specifically those two last matches. Mainly Because they both felt really fucking epic not just because their fighting trainers with legendaries and shadow pokemon who are also the final bosses but the music stage and stories just made them feel so much more fucking epic.
Here's what I think about the list: 10. Whitney: Completely agree, If you know what your doing, she can be kind of easy 9. Cynthia: Probably a bit higher. The amount of coverage that she has is insane. I just did a Platinum Nuzlocke and she beat me literally at the last second 8. Clair: Somewhat hard. I only struggled with her once, but other than that, the fact that it's hard to find a type advantage does make it challenging. 7. Norman: He was devastating in the original Gen 3 games. You pretty much needed a fully evolved starter to have a somewhat easy time to beat him. But if you also have protect, then you're all set. 6. Fantina: She was a problem the first time I faced her. But thanks to this video I was able to beat her by using a special attacker on Duskull. Then use my Staravia to set up double teams on haunter, and then survive Mismagius's magical leaves in order to kill it 5. Juan: I can't say that much about him since I haven't faced him in like 8-10 years and can't remember a thing about that battle, lol. But he does sound annoying 4. Ghetsis: I think I lost to him 3-4 times because of his Hydreigon before I finally beat him for the first time 3. Ardos/Eldes: Ardos isn't really too challenging, he is hard, but not too hard (if that makes any sense, lol). Eldes can be challenging and this video pretty much explains it. Also the Salamence, my only tip is to catch this thing ASAP. 2. Evice: I lost to him at least 3 times before I beat him for the first time. You need to watch this video first in order to beat him for the first time, lol. Also, make sure you save the Master Ball because I've never been able to catch Tyranitar with any other ball. 1. Greevil: I have caught all of the legendaries in a single run quite a few times, and even one time without a shadow pokemon in my party. Tip: You might want to go into the final battle with only 5 pokemon so you can catch Lugia and use the master ball on it so you can head into the next battle at full health. And remember to bring your revives and potions because you're going to need them. Not to mention the fact that he's a f***ing cheater since he technically has 7 pokemon, including Lugia, lol.
I understand if people don't have the attention span to read this long list, I wouldn't even read it over twice myself, lol. But if you read the list, then thank you, lol
Let’s not forget something else about the Ghetsis battle: his team was designed specifically to defeat N, if he defeated you. And he would have won, in that scenario.
Gale of Darkness was my first ever pokemon game. and I STILL beat Grevil on my first try, by the time I got to handheld pokemon games I was wrecking the elite 4 and my friends like they were nothing. gale of Darkness literal started me off on the hardest pokemon game, like being baptised by fire
+Douglas Murphy If Gale of Darkness was your first game... Heh. Then I'm not surprised the Elite 4 of the main games were nothing to you. I got the same feeling when i finished it, it was like my 3rd Pokemon game, and the 3rd or 4th I finished. After it, PUTTING ASIDE GHETSIS (and the Battle Frontier), I prettymuch had no trouble with everything else either.
the hardest pokemon battle in pokemon games history?? Brock in yellow version... at least it was for me...not sure if it was becos i was a kid when i first played that game but damm i still remembered that i got stuck there for almost a week until i found out that mankey's low kick worked against that stupid onix ...man..those were the times when internet was pretty much non-existent and i am too poor to get a guidebook...
lyhthegreat it is hard without the proper pokemon however you can get a makney with low kick or the nido rans who learn double kick i would believe red and blue are hard (unless you picked squartle) as the only pokemon that would do good is a butterfree (if you picked charmander)
lyhthegreat My Charmander just Ember'ed his ass when I was a kid, and I had a Buttefree that I didn't had to use that could give that Onyx some status changes.
+Melissa Souza Borges Yeah, but what's the fun of grinding levels till you're virtually invisible? To me, that takes a lot of the fun out of Pokemon and I actually like a challenge when I'm facing Gym Leaders or the Champion. (Not to mention grinding is tedious as hell at some points...)
I didnt even grind lol. Only wasted lots of time catching pokemon and using my starter to kill the ones i didnt want, my blaziken had the same level of his pokemon.
Melissa Souza Borges ? Combusken can't evolve into Blaziken until Lv. 36, and Norman's strongest Slaking is at Lv. 31. Your statement makes no sense unless you were over-leveled. And besides, everyone has different gameplay experiences depending on the Pokemon used and strategies utilized. For example, while playing Pokemon X, I turned off the OP Exp. Share and reached the Champion slightly underleveled; most of her Pokemon were nothing I couldn't handle, but I didn't take into account that her Gardevoir could Mega Evolve (like, I didn't know she could do that) and she took out my whole team. Beat her on my second try, but mistakes were made.
Yeah, cause 5 levels makes so much difference when i already have the type advantage... and omg dude, look at your comments and you'll see, you are the one whos bothering me trying to criticize my playstyle, not the other way around. I really don't care about how you choose to play the game, so leave me alone. Also, i have nothing to do with how the system of the game works to make my pokemon overlevel, im just playing normally trying to catch 'em all
***** Well, personally, she was for me, probably because I was slightly underleveled and she kept scoring criticals. Also Hypnosis if I remember right...
I've never had a problem with any story-related battle in any pokemon game... EXCEPT WHITNEY Makes me wanna go back in time and stop Miltank from ever existing.
Whitney is fucking easy. The game gives you so many options for getting fighting types early on (like the machamp trade). It's your fault you avoided them.
TheMadisonMachine Same for me. Whitney was the only battle outside of a frontier/battle island/etc battle I ever had ANY trouble with. Anyone else I could relentlessly slaughter.
RequiemBeatz I was legitimately stuck on her and had to battle her like 10 times before I beat her, and that's really unusual for me because I never have to re-battle a story-related trainer!
I did a Nuzlocke of Emerald and I honestly didn't find Norman or Wallace to be that bad. Winona, on the other hand, is an entirely different story. Her Altaria will keep spamming dragon dance and cotton guard until it is nearly impossible to KO, then even if you get its health low, she'll use a potion to heal it. Hardest gym leader fight in the entire game.
To be honest I think I smashed with Heracross though I can't remember what I used in FireRed or Emerald that said it was a worthy finish for a final gym leader.
Why wasn't fighting Dialga in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon added. He is one of the hardest bosses if you don't have a single item. He just uses Roar of time which drops you to 40 health.
the fact that you have to catch these shadows pokemon makes it the hardest battle, even than Red. Red is not that difficult tho... he was more of a problem in original god and silver with his espeon.
I had an easy team agains't his Espeon, maybe because i had an Hypno with Shadow Ball that made things easier, but for me his Blastoise and Pikachu were a pain in the ass. Snorlax too, but i atleats i could beat him easily enough as he was pretty slow and i had a "strong" Machoke.
Jack- 574 Honestly, I don't get why people found Drapion difficult. Loop it, lift the stylus to dodge its attacks, repeat. Rampardos, on the other hand...
Jack- 574 I can see why that can be a problem, but once you are halfway through Rampardos's battle, it literally DOSEN'T STOP ATTACKING WITH ITS STONG AF ROCK SLIDE UNTIL ITS GAUGE IS EMPTY. No joke, I think Aron's Poké Assist is REQUIRED to get through to it.
Jack- 574 in my opinion the boss captures from the original ranger are the worst, its not like shadows or guardian signs where youre filling up the bar, but if you lift up your stylus you have to start back at square one. From memory, the hardest captures i remember were salamance and steelix. Salamance was just a pain since he was either off screen or always attacking. Steelix was worse since youd take damage from just touching it. I think the easiest way to beat steelix is to get help from a sneasel to make your capture line longer and capture him while hes curled up. But if youre like me and didnt do that the first time, good fucking luck
@@jacktheomnithere2127 sure Ghetsis can be swept with a dragon dance Haxorus if you set up on the cofigrigus but otherwise he is tough to this day, even with a well balanced team. As for Evice, even when I had the most overpowered team possible all at level 61 with protect Suicune-with ice beam and rain Raikou- spamming thunders Entei with backup sun and solarbeam Flygon spamming earthquake Heracross with mega horn and Brick Break Espeon with Psychic and dual screen support Even with the strongest available Pokémon at equal levels it still came down to the last Pokémon, 1v1 masterball
An insanely fast and powerful Alakazam with all the elemental punches, A Heracross that’s as tough as you’d expect it to be, and _ANOTHER FUCKIN ONE OF THESE!_
I completed both Colosseum and XD gale of darkness as a young child and I don't ever remember the final boss battles being as difficult as you described.. And you don't HAVE to capture them. You can just defeat them.
***** Ah, when I played them I found the pokemon snagging such a chore to obtain decent pokemon. It was fun, though I wish you just had better access to more wild pokemon.
+Jadduck From an objective standpoint, Evice is probably the hardest Pokemon battle in the series. He has some of the most powerful Pokemon in the game at the time (Tyranitar, Slaking and Salamence), 2 Pokemon that serve as support AND damage (Scizor and Slowking) and a hard hitter in general on Machamp. Add all of that on top of the kind of mediocre Pokemon selection outside a handful and the fact that he is conventionally at least 15 levels above you provided you don't grind at all. All 3 earthquake users synergize super well with Salamence, not to mention they're all bulky enough to get their respective setup moves in and cause chaos. I haven't tried this battle without using items at all, but that shits probably impossible.
Jorge Godínez but like a 10 year old me managed to beat the game? which means that button mashing your way through the fight is an actual possible solution
When you get to that point in the game red is easy, because he is so late. Even without any major grinding you can get multiple level 80's or even a level 90. His Pikachu is weak, the rest of his team is slow he isn't hard at all.
you should try the blaze black version where his rattata has perfect IVs , high level , and can use quick attack , tail whip , flame wheel , and tackle at level 16 and he's right after the first gym ...
Opinions 10: She was hard at first but in my most recent playthrough of HeartGold, I beat Miltank with my FREAKING YANMA. It even took a Rollout somehow. 9: I expected this to be higher all because of THAT Garchomp (also Cynthia's team isn't the only thing that's hard, so are Rock Types. What'd you think I'd say pervert?) 8: Clair was also hard, only because of Kingdra. 7: Norman is hard in every game he's in, except B2/W2 in which you have multiple powerful Pokemon and Fighting Types by the time you get to the PWT 6: She's only hard in Platinum unless you have anything with a Dark Type move 5: What do you have against Kingdra? 4: *_HYDREEEEEEEEIGON!_* THE BEST POKEMON OF ALL TIME! 3: *SERIOUSLY WHAT DO YOU HAVE AGAINST KINGDRA?!* 2: Skill Swap is INSANE. Slaking will eff your team up 1: Thought six Shadow Pokemon was enough? No? HAVE SEVEN INSTEAD!
All garchomp needs is a good ice fang or ice punch and it'll go down fast,. In my favorite run through sinnoh I used a weavile, It was so damn satisfying to kill it in one hit
Kingdra, being water/dragon has no weakness in gen 3-5 other than dragon itself. Dragon moves were also uncommon in Gen 2-3 and damaging Dragon-type moves were all special. Fairy type was only introduced in gen 6.
Cynthia was hard because her Pokemon were 10 levels higher than the elite 4 in Sinnoh. That is legitimately the only real reason. You can have awesome type matchups, but she was always just stronger than the others, basically kicking you in the teeth once you beat the Elite 4. Whitney is just an ass.
Oh Ghetsis' Hydreigon...that fucker gave me SO much trouble! And I won through LUCK!! If my Samurott hadn't held on and been boosted by Torrent, I would've probably been there FOREVER!!!
pikaace I honestly don't remember how I won the first time.... And there wasn't a second because the first was so horrendous that I *refused* to fight him again - I only played up until I beat N then restarted. Fuck that guy.
+pikaace I had a Scolipede in my team, so Hydreigon was actually piece of cake. Scolipede outruns a Hydreigon most of the time, and Mega Horn can destroy it in one move. It was one of the moments I loved having the underappreciated Bug-types in my team 8D
ShadowNinja because her kingdra was a pain in the rear end, Cynthia might of the highest level of all the champions, but at that point your Pokemon should be strong enough to deal with her
It's still satisfying to watch that old man threaten her that he'll tell Lance if she doesn't fork over the badge. One of my favorite moments from Heartgold. lol That bitch had it coming.
I found something really funny. That how my friend who played platinum and completed it and bragged about he defeated the hardest champion but then I found out diamond and pearl's cynthia was harder and also he couldn't defeat oras and Alola for a long time so that tells you something
Who else thought that gardenia was one of the hardest gym leaders in platinum if you didn't start with a chimchar? Her rosarade was very hard to beat with its great special attack
kadabra, staravia, kirlia, ponyta, crobat/golbat... Idk what kind of team did you have if none of those were in your party at that point. I mean, zubat and abra are tedious to train, ok, but what about the others?
And now with the release of Legends Arceus, a certain someone’s ancestor seems to be vying for that top spot. If we think Greevil had seven Pokémon with that Shadow Lugia, then that person also has seven, but somehow worse!
When it comes to Sinnoh Gym Leaders, I honestly had more trouble with CANDICE, ESPECIALLY her Froslass. With Fantina, I have the following step-by-step guide 1. Catch a Buizel 2. Check it's got a good nature in Speed (That's NOT Timid) 3. Evolve it at Level 26. 4. Make sure it learns Crunch. (Learns it the instant it evolves) 5. Give it the Dread Plate (which you can get as early as your battle against Commander Jupiter) 6. Go to town on Fantina.
I started to play pokemon when I was 2.... No lie lol I started with the old ones XD but I ended up getting pro like really pro on the way as I went throughout the game XD right now I'm a Pokemon Master Lol Most People Will Now See Me In X And Y And Pokemon Ora's My Name In The Games Are Always Ash If You Seen Me In Game I Have A Mewtwo So You Better Get The Best You Can Get With A Battle With Me Lol
Im just wondering where is the cherin battle from b&w 2. That gym battle always gave me trouble since the exp grind was so much harder at the start of that game and he had actually pretty level pokemon. Might just be me but that was a pretty hard first gym battle
Really? Didn't really enjoy it much, You have start with Espeon and Umbreon, and you can't just catch whatever not to mention you can only capture the Pokemons with the shadow aura, Pokémon Gold is my favorite.
I liked Gold/Silver because you could catch your favourites from both 2 gens, including the newly-added, badass Espeon and Umbreon. The limited selection in Colosseum was definitely one of the biggest downsides, since what even is a Pokémon game if you don't have that selection? Though, the side-games did bring us some resemblance of a new formula of the main games. Instead of 'go fight all the 8 gyms and then the elite 4', it was 'go fight these fucking goons and eventually fight the big goon, oh yeah catch these weird pokemon'. Both formulas are good, no doubt. It was just nice to have that little bit of variation.
I really didn't have any problems with clair.... because i had a typhlosion that knew the move swift.. so while her kingdra was spamming smokescreen I took it down with swift, because if you didn't know the move swift never misses.
well when i first play gsc its my first pokemon game, that time was around year 2004 when i played,no internet, nobody to ask,no walktrough, just some 10 year old playing randomly ,shes hard as fuck
mi first pokemon game was @#$/ pearl so no walkthrous went blind and at the end i had to battle friking cintia and i saved before the battle and it toke me 10 resets @#$/^& hell x (
o another stratigi for hg is to get a kangaskan in the safari zone lv it up to 36 or 38 and it gets outrage and recs clares day lol one outrage basicli dead
1:22 - ah guys, need some help here. Stomp is a Normal type move and Ghastly is Ghost type. Should have no effect, but the animation is shown? i don't get it
Omg I agree with... But Steven is the kind of guy who u just need to wreck and not much strategy just have a few fire types that r fast and few lvs higher and he's not much of a worry...
No but rahin double battle first time gave.me carp thought in sheld i transfer deino and over level to hydragon to rip though his gym changle like nothing yah fairy may exiced when hydragon can use flash cannon to destory monst fairy or utrun to get the hell out there
+Juuzou The Gamer Norman was easy for me like you i had a Combuskon at the time with double kick rock smash ember and overheat and i also had a aron since its a steel/rock type steel being the best defensive type in the game and rock resisting normal easy
+Juuzou The Gamer the twins were a pain it took two trays to beat them the first time I had a Gardivoir with trace it traced synchronize instead of levitate and claydolse earthquake was annoying second battle Trace got levitate so it was easier I also had a vibrava
Well one of his Slakings doesn't try to beat you down, but rather disable you're counter with defensive moves. Nothing item spam can't counter. I beat him first try with Breloom, and force palm.
I wish they'd make another Pokemon game on a console instead of just the 3ds, and I'm not talking Pokepark and Pokken Tournament, I mean something like Colosseum and XD. Those are my fucking jams and it saddens me that it's been over a decade since they both came out :'/
Jason Tester First time I played Pokemon Black, I didn't like any of the Pokemon I saw, so I just used my starter for the ENTIRE GAME. (I had HM slaves, of course, but never used them in battle.) I solo'd the Elite 4/N/Ghetsis/whatever with my Lvl.80+ Samurott. It was stupidly easy. Hydro Cannon Mega Horn Dig Revenge
Wow. I'm surprised. WHERE IS LENORA? The herdier is OK but... THEN SHE THROWS OUT WATCHOG. IT HAS HYPNOSIS AND RETALIATE AND SOME ANNOYING MOVES. FOR THE 2ND GYM LEADER AND ANOTHER NORMAL TYPE LEADER SHE'S A NIGHTMARE!
Goober Rae I dunno what it is with the normal Type Gym Leaders being so OP. The Normal type is nothing but the finest of ass (apart from Snorlax and to a certain extent Slaking). You get bodied by THIS whatchog but every single fucking one that comes after that just gets bodied. Its just that One Whatchog that is a pain in the ass. Apart from her and the ground type guy, Gen 5 was incredibly easy when it came to gym leaders IMO.
Regarding that Mono-Poison play through: why wasn’t Beedrill or Ariados on the list? You could have caught either a Weedle or Spinarak before fighting Whitney. Or were you saving your other two team slots for something else in particular (Koffing/Weezing being an obvious choice)?
In my replay of SS I beat here with a level 14 as my best you just have to know what to do and then she is really the easiest gym you should try beat gym six before 5 with level 20s and try and win
A lot of people playing the original GSC were in the mindset of training their starter and only their starter. The starters usually have a hard time dealing significant damage to miltank, and miltank is usually faster, can flinch with stomp, do massive damage with rollout, stop male pokemon dead with attract, etc. Even those training full teams could not really be prepared for miltank the first time through, and got steamrolled. Not everyone was packing a counter the first time through the game. I believe people who went with chikorita had the easiest time, due to bayleaf matching up the best against miltank as well as the general tendency for them to catch a geodude or onix to help against falkner and bugsy.
For me fantina and Juan were one of the easiest battles I had.Against fantina you have to be careful and not use psychic or ghost instead use a markrow if you play diamond.Against Juan use manektrike or sceptile but double team is very annoying
THANK YOU for putting Fantina on here! I actually gave up on the 7th time I battled her. but with some new Pokemon, and a bit of Grinding, I finally won.
Last time I played Platinum, I had to evolve my Empoleon before I felt confident enough to try. This was over a decade ago, and I’m hoping the next time I play Platinum won’t demand so much level grinding. But yeah, that STAB Shadow Ball is completely unfair for the third gym. HG/SS Morty isn’t *that* much better.
I remember beating Ghetsis and then turning off during the credits, in the other games it saved before the credits, in this one no... So I had to do it again :(
The platinum battles were troubling sure but my Infernape swept most of the teams, EXCEPT the water gym, SCREW THAT GUY! AND HIS GYARADOS! Seriously I had 1 pokemon that could deal with that and it was Shinx and it was SEVERELY under-levelled On a side note: GHETSIS I HATE YOU! I HATE YOUR HYDREIGON! Seriously although most my other battles it only took me 1 try to win (BRUTE FORCE FTW!) and the same goes for this one, his Hydreigon gave me hell, then took it away, then it slapped me in the face with it but all this battle did was motivate me to get my OWN little bundle of overpowered BS
***** I think the reason I had trouble was i was trying to just use brute force over type advantages and whatnot since I was pretty young when i played platinum. Though Brute force with infernape worked REALLY well most of the time since looking at his stats now (it is lvl 100) his speed and attack/sp attack are all over 200 I think
I hear the champion of Pokemon Sun and Moon might be just as hard as Cynthia, apparently the champion is programmed to set up rocks first turn and actually battles like a competitve battler.
Hey Speedster, now that Sun and Moon have been released, any battles from those games that you would put on the list? I did a blind mono-Bug run, so I can't really answer it for myself. Though Nanu should NOT have been a problem! Fucking Power Gem on that fucking Persian and Sableye!!!
Shame Gen VII wasn't out at this point. I garantee at least one of the battles would be on here. Be it one of the trial trainers, Totem Pokemon, Kahunas, elite four or more he champion.
N was much more difficult than Ghetsis for me, mostly because he outsped and critical hit one shot my legendary dragon with his own. But neither of them were too terribly difficult.
Joseph Moncayo In the original ruby, I ran out of other pokemon once against Norman because I forgot to restore before entering the gym and my lvl 12 aron singlehandedly took down his level 31 slaking for the win because it just kept using focus punch and getting stunned out of it when I rock smashed. It was quite funny.
Thank God that I'm not the only one who thought the Ghetsis battle from BW was EXCRUCIATING. That was around the time I was getting back into Pokemon, too, so that battle was literal hell for me.
Guilherme Girola Speedy said this in another video. The only reason Red is hard is because his Pokemon are high leveled. Once your Pokemon are strong enough, he goes down easy. It's not like that with Lance or Cynthia.
sceptile was my preferred starter and as a kid my sceptile was way higher level than other members of my party so it was bad her darn altaria still haunts me to this day, but I got my revenge in OR though.
Bryan Boornazian Twice, she destroyed me, because at the time, I was unaware that Swablu evolved into a freaking dragon, armed with Earthquake of all things. It took me a while to figure out how my Electric attacks were suddenly doing little to no damage against a "bird".
10: AAAAAAAAARGH!!! NOT HER! But wait, there is a solution! Bayleef with Reflect. FEMALE. 9: The best and the toughest, huh? I need to face her when i can in Platinum. 8: There's another way to deal with Kingdra: Again, the Chikorita line saves the day, and all you need is a way to cripple Kingdra, and then... FRENZY PLANT THE SUCKER UNTIL IT DROPS DEAD. And now, more people are probably gonna stop underestimating Chikorita. 7: Norman is especially hard in the original Gen 3 games, since the Physical/Special split was not there at the time. In Alpha Sapphire... he's actually a decent challenge. 6: ERGH. THAT... MISMAGIUS. Trust me, I know how you feel. 5: Juan?? HA! He was a JOKE last time I played Emerald! 4: Ghetsis in White? Hard? HA! Let's see, I had a team with Zekrom, Emboar, Ferrothorn and a few more... And he was easy! 3: These two must the stuff of nightmares... I haven't played the Orre games, BTW. 2: Evice must be hard... But he is also an idiot. 1: Oh, BALLS.
Yep. I mean... Using an X ATTACK on Tyranitar AND Machamp, while the only pokemon still alive in Chugga's team is Quagsire... Evice is DEFINITELY an idiot! Oh, and to add insult to injury... Chugga caught Tyranitar with the Master Ball, making Evice an EVEN bigger fool of himself. Then again, Chugga is lucky enough to catch a Level 70 Groudon with near-full health... WITH A NEST BALL.
Cook Oliver hey did you know: shadow lugia has a move you can only get here; that you can only get form XD, meanign, if you get in from XD, to RSE, to DPP, TO BW/BW2, to X&Y to OR& AS, you can have a pokemon with a legal move it should not have.
Claire was so hard for me! I remember I was stuck on her for so long that my friend who was playing through the game at the same time as me got so far ahead that he was already in the Kanto region by the time I was done.
Omg yes the Ghetsis battle. I beat him in a pinch, but my friend on the other hand... Has been stuck on him since 2012... And then he decided to quit playing Pokemon for good ;^;.
***** Of course you may! What is it? :3
***** Yes, indeed I do! It's Eridan Ampora from Homestuck. :3
Tianna Woo he must of had the suckiest levels in the world then cosidering all my lucarios and riolus are LV. 100. (If you find an ultra rare hotspot for 2 pokemon groups and one of them lucario, which I did, you can breed a team of lucarios and riolus easily)

I get the feeling that you don't like Kingdra much lol
Kureru Elric He doesn't
@espeonranger REALLY COME ON
He loves Kingdra, but hates it when people use it against him.
It's because juan

117blingbling White was my first game I had three good pokemon my starter, and both legends (my brother had Black and gave his reshiarm to me) Try having abosultle no healing items and not knowing all type match ups.
I struggled on Kyurem in B2. THEN GHETSIS FUCKING CAME
Really? I either 1 or 2 shotted all his pokemon with just Reshiram and Serperior!
my. serperior. got. swept. by. the. dumbass. blue. frog. thing. who's. name. I. cant. remember.
I hate hydreigon sooooo much from that fight
Lance was a real pain for me.... 3 dragonites is cold blooded murder.
***** the only champion I had problems with! Lol
***** my issue was that the only thing I had was a thunderbolt on my raichu which was regularly effective due to dragon type. I had no ice moves/types. Not to mention my was charizard, with no weapon against dragonite
My ace was*
That's just a weird game on my opinion but Its fine if we dont have the same opinion
ImAPeice Ofbread you really should though you’ll have a blast
Here's what I think about the list:
10. Whitney: Completely agree, If you know what your doing, she can be kind of easy
9. Cynthia: Probably a bit higher. The amount of coverage that she has is insane. I just did a Platinum Nuzlocke and she beat me literally at the last second
Then use my Staravia to set up double teams on haunter, and then survive Mismagius's magical leaves in order to kill it
5. Juan: I can't say that much about him since I haven't faced him in like 8-10 years and can't remember a thing about that battle, lol. But he does sound annoying
4. Ghetsis: I think I lost to him 3-4 times because of his Hydreigon before I finally beat him for the first time
A Abgamerx I agree. Since I suck at Unova games It took me 8 times till I beat Ghetsis.
ABgamerX idk why maybe I got lucky but I sweated her team
ABgamerX forgot to mention I was talking about fantina
Let’s not forget something else about the Ghetsis battle: his team was designed specifically to defeat N, if he defeated you. And he would have won, in that scenario.
How to defeat a Slaking:
Use protect on the turn it attacks you and attack Slaking on the turn it's truant ability comes in.

I feel bad for you
I can relate 😂
+Douglas Murphy If Gale of Darkness was your first game... Heh. Then I'm not surprised the Elite 4 of the main games were nothing to you. I got the same feeling when i finished it, it was like my 3rd Pokemon game, and the 3rd or 4th I finished. After it, PUTTING ASIDE GHETSIS (and the Battle Frontier), I prettymuch had no trouble with everything else either.
Gale of Darkness was my first game as well when I seen Steven in Emerald I was like damn you easy.
the hardest pokemon battle in pokemon games history??
Brock in yellow version...
at least it was for me...not sure if it was becos i was a kid when i first played that game but damm i still remembered that i got stuck there for almost a week until i found out that mankey's low kick worked against that stupid onix ...man..those were the times when internet was pretty much non-existent and i am too poor to get a guidebook...
lyhthegreat it is hard without the proper pokemon however you can get a makney with low kick or the nido rans who learn double kick i would believe red and blue are hard (unless you picked squartle) as the only pokemon that would do good is a butterfree (if you picked charmander)
billy schmied yeah just get a level 9 mankey or a level 12 nidoran
lyhthegreat My Charmander just Ember'ed his ass when I was a kid, and I had a Buttefree that I didn't had to use that could give that Onyx some status changes.
Chrysanthus we are talking about yellow and in yellow you get pikachu
Amelia Rangel Oh, in yellow I just used a Mankey or a Butterfree, can't quite remember since I already knew how to properly play then
Battling Nascour and Evice is the only time I've felt absolutely on top of the world and terrified at the same time in a Pokemon game.
Agreeddd
Am i the only one who completelly owned Norman's ass? Really, Blaziken + Double kick = Bye Slaking
Also, i have nothing to do with how the system of the game works to make my pokemon overlevel, im just playing normally trying to catch 'em all
+Melissa Souza Borges you're not the only 1
literally wtf is your accent, i hear american australian scottish and english?!!?!
He's from Scotland.
Collin Drey so am i, hes getting slashed
Why?
Why Whitney?she was too easy far me
+Dion Sayas For real though.
Dude this video is my favorite on TH-cam. You gotta make an updated version!!! It's awesome.
How can you forget Lance and his 3 freaking Dragonites with the freaking move outrage , a total nightmare
I got my primeape to learn it too but the damn things had hurricane.
...Fantina was difficult?
HELL YEAH, SHE WAS!!
Fiery Chaos I don't ever remember Fantina being difficult... honestly I though she was easier than Roark.:/
***** Well, personally, she was for me, probably because I was slightly underleveled and she kept scoring criticals. Also Hypnosis if I remember right...
+VolatileShoke Shadow ball usually hits more than half of your hp which makes it quite difficult battle :)
Svetoslav Lalev I never really had any problem with her, DP or Pt.
Though at that point I usually have my Staravia/Staraptor handle the gym. :3
I've never had a problem with any story-related battle in any pokemon game... EXCEPT WHITNEY
Makes me wanna go back in time and stop Miltank from ever existing.
Whitney is fucking easy. The game gives you so many options for getting fighting types early on (like the machamp trade). It's your fault you avoided them.
Wait, lemme go back and tell 6 year old me to stop being a bitch and get a machamp for the THIRD GYM.
Also you could go to the department store and buy focus blast and if you chose cyndquail and you know have qualava you can teach it focus blast
I swear I always find myself coming back to these videos and they are still as great as I remember them to be
me too
i think this was the first video i saw after my dog died. thank you for cheering me up that day
I did a Nuzlocke of Emerald and I honestly didn't find Norman or Wallace to be that bad. Winona, on the other hand, is an entirely different story. Her Altaria will keep spamming dragon dance and cotton guard until it is nearly impossible to KO, then even if you get its health low, she'll use a potion to heal it. Hardest gym leader fight in the entire game.
Jordan3D cotton guard isnt in gen 3 ok
Chad Vernon Ok, then just Dragon Dance; but it's still deadly.
Not to mention it carries Earthquake in both Gen 3 and Gen 6...
Jordan3D Those twins in Emerald would destroy me since half my team was weak against them...
When I played Omega Ruby Alpha Sapphire No gym leader was hard
Cynthia is hands down my favorite champion to battle. I hope that when the gen 4 remakes come out shes not a push over like steven was in oras.
Yesssss same! I loved her battle so much!
same
remakes ruin it, it's much easier for the next gen
***** But at the same time as easy as it is to level up in that game so do you.
Spirit Spoopy That is all true but I just had my slaking chilling in the back with eq for the entire team so maybe that might of helped 😂
Someone who acknowledged the GameCube games? Thank You.
Did you borrow scenes from Chuggaaconroy's colosseum playthrough?
Stolen footage from Munching Orange, chuggaaconroy, Marriland, etc.

TheKingOfTown I do it is stealing.
Yeah, he should really give them credit...
Something tells me kingdra is his least favorite Pokemon.
Probably not. He just hates facing it.
kingdra is the devil!
donisha anderson He is Poseidon I imagine speedster makes like Kratos when fighting him (God of War III spoilers there).
Adam AnouerWell, for me Clair´s Kingdra was never a problem thanks to my bulky Meganium.
Tristan Haley I revisited this game and I haven't been able to beat him for like a whole day.
It's been a year. Haven't bear him on time. Beat him on sky cause riolu.
TronXYZ i played darkness and i had a bulbasaur and a chimchar and it took me a few tries
Spam attract, it makes the fight so much easier
Yup
"Anybody remember Fantina?" YES!!! HELL YES!!! It ruined my day! Hell my MONTH!
Can we all agree that Cynthia's theme is the boat badass Pokemon song?
*most I hate autocorrect
Cynthia's theme really is the boat badass though
Yes, it is the boat badass imo
hell yeah
no
in all truth red would easily destroy number one
Ik right, i thought that red would be number one though
He always kills all my pokemon before i even am able to take his second pokemon down but i do not train a full team so that might be my fault
the fact that you have to catch these shadows pokemon makes it the hardest battle, even than Red. Red is not that difficult tho... he was more of a problem in original god and silver with his espeon.
Um... Red is fucking easy
"Huh? Famtina? I don't rememb-"
(picture of Mismagus comes in)
"Oh god. Oh god oh no. Oh no. Not again! NOT AGAIN! IT'S USING MAGICAL LEAF"
I don't even have a strategy when I battle lol
Yust beem them
Same
My only strat in the main game is supereffective hits lol
I spam potions and revives
Kukui's Magnezone is the hardest thing since erections.
His Snorlax is even harder, though Magnezone is still worth of a mention
Wait till you get to a certain fight with a certain dragon in Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon
Shadow Enigma U-Necrozma is not difficult. It onky needs some prep to be taken care of
@PVSM1 6731 With right preparation he is a joke.
Anyone else remember Drapion from Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia?
Jack- 574 Honestly, I don't get why people found Drapion difficult. Loop it, lift the stylus to dodge its attacks, repeat.
Rampardos, on the other hand...
Heracross X
Rampardos is kinda tricky, but I think it's just how Drapion eventually starts attacking without any warning is the problem for me
Jack- 574 I can see why that can be a problem, but once you are halfway through Rampardos's battle, it literally DOSEN'T STOP ATTACKING WITH ITS STONG AF ROCK SLIDE UNTIL ITS GAUGE IS EMPTY. No joke, I think Aron's Poké Assist is REQUIRED to get through to it.
Heracross X steel type poke assist really is required at some points in that game
11:43 that is the PERFECT way to describe Ghetsis and Evice!
that fight was the first fight that ever made me rage in a pokemon game as pathetic as it sounds
@@riftsplitter2159 which one? or was it both?
i think you mean savage, brutal and unfair.
@@jacktheomnithere2127 sure Ghetsis can be swept with a dragon dance Haxorus if you set up on the cofigrigus but otherwise he is tough to this day, even with a well balanced team.
As for Evice, even when I had the most overpowered team possible all at level 61 with protect
Suicune-with ice beam and rain
Raikou- spamming thunders
Entei with backup sun and solarbeam
Flygon spamming earthquake
Heracross with mega horn and Brick Break
Espeon with Psychic and dual screen support
Even with the strongest available Pokémon at equal levels it still came down to the last Pokémon, 1v1 masterball
An insanely fast and powerful Alakazam with all the elemental punches,
A Heracross that’s as tough as you’d expect it to be, and
_ANOTHER FUCKIN ONE OF THESE!_
I completed both Colosseum and XD gale of darkness as a young child and I don't ever remember the final boss battles being as difficult as you described..
And you don't HAVE to capture them. You can just defeat them.
***** Was it? I thought the goal was to just defeat the antagonists.
***** Ah, when I played them I found the pokemon snagging such a chore to obtain decent pokemon.
It was fun, though I wish you just had better access to more wild pokemon.
+Jadduck My last two battles in colliseum was a story for the books. I'll never forget it ever, so epic.
Jorge Godínez but like
a 10 year old me managed to beat the game? which means that button mashing your way through the fight is an actual possible solution
where is red?
When you get to that point in the game red is easy, because he is so late. Even without any major grinding you can get multiple level 80's or even a level 90. His Pikachu is weak, the rest of his team is slow he isn't hard at all.
+Melman ator you are the type of person that has overleveled pokemon at the first gym you have pokemon that are lv 60
Jay Jagroep is the type of guy playing pokemon heartgold/soulsilver and thinking those are the originals
+raf vermeylen is the type of person that thinks that pikachu evolves at lv 18
Jay Jagroep is the type of person who doesn't evolve a magicarp
my hardest battle was vs youngster joey. fucking rattata level 9000 with SCRATCH
😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
Damn youngster Joey (I actually lost a Pokemon in a nuzlocke because of youngster Joey xD)
Yeah, with his rattata, it's in the top percentage of rattata, that's too hard ^^
you should try the blaze black version where his rattata has perfect IVs , high level , and can use quick attack , tail whip , flame wheel , and tackle at level 16 and he's right after the first gym ...
Which game?
Opinions
10: She was hard at first but in my most recent playthrough of HeartGold, I beat Miltank with my FREAKING YANMA. It even took a Rollout somehow.
9: I expected this to be higher all because of THAT Garchomp (also Cynthia's team isn't the only thing that's hard, so are Rock Types. What'd you think I'd say pervert?)
8: Clair was also hard, only because of Kingdra.
7: Norman is hard in every game he's in, except B2/W2 in which you have multiple powerful Pokemon and Fighting Types by the time you get to the PWT
6: She's only hard in Platinum unless you have anything with a Dark Type move
5: What do you have against Kingdra?
4: *_HYDREEEEEEEEIGON!_* THE BEST POKEMON OF ALL TIME!
3: *SERIOUSLY WHAT DO YOU HAVE AGAINST KINGDRA?!*
2: Skill Swap is INSANE. Slaking will eff your team up
1: Thought six Shadow Pokemon was enough?
@@loganburnette5485 i did the same thing but instead of using weavile, i use a glaceon, she even somehow survive it's dragon rush
Is it just me or were Cynthia and Whitney the only trainers you had trouble with
And lance for me
Cynthia was hard because her Pokemon were 10 levels higher than the elite 4 in Sinnoh. That is legitimately the only real reason. You can have awesome type matchups, but she was always just stronger than the others, basically kicking you in the teeth once you beat the Elite 4.
Whitney is just an ass.
+Gamefan1092 I lost so much money bc i always had to restart
Whitney was extremely easy to beat, Cynthia is just average to me.
i owned whitney
Oh Ghetsis' Hydreigon...that fucker gave me SO much trouble! And I won through LUCK!! If my Samurott hadn't held on and been boosted by Torrent, I would've probably been there FOREVER!!!
pikaace I honestly don't remember how I won the first time.... And there wasn't a second because the first was so horrendous that I *refused* to fight him again - I only played up until I beat N then restarted. Fuck that guy.
I put it a sleep with Musharna and switched it with haxourus just takes a little strategy
+pikaace I used a level 80 emboar lel
i just ohko with sacred sword from my cobalion
+pikaace
I had a Scolipede in my team, so Hydreigon was actually piece of cake. Scolipede outruns a Hydreigon most of the time, and Mega Horn can destroy it in one move. It was one of the moments I loved having the underappreciated Bug-types in my team 8D
Only at number 8 right now but how tf is Cynthia below claire
Norman above Cynthia. Above Cynthia. WHAT?
I can understand the Alola games being a challenge, but ORAS ? How did your friend struggle in ORAS when it's in the easiest generation of Pokémon ?

With Fantina, I have the following step-by-step guide
1. Catch a Buizel
2. Check it's got a good nature in Speed (That's NOT Timid)
3. Evolve it at Level 26.
4. Make sure it learns Crunch. (Learns it the instant it evolves)
5. Give it the Dread Plate (which you can get as early as your battle against Commander Jupiter)
6. Go to town on Fantina.

Im just wondering where is the cherin battle from b&w 2. That gym battle always gave me trouble since the exp grind was so much harder at the start of that game and he had actually pretty level pokemon. Might just be me but that was a pretty hard first gym battle
I fucking loved Pokemon colosseum, just thought I'd say that.
I do also, great game
Dude I didtn think people remembered coliseum, I loved it
Keegs OF heck yeah :D

Ralph Stouten Postgame Steven in Emerald wasn't. Every trainer in ORAS was easy.
James Duffy Weeeeellll, only pre-boss battles, nothing else
Yeah, I know, but that was the only time Steven was really hard
Omg I agree with... But Steven is the kind of guy who u just need to wreck and not much strategy just have a few fire types that r fast and few lvs higher and he's not much of a worry...
i was about to beat his last pokemon, a mega --------- (not spoiling) but i used a max potion on my fainted sceptile instead of my alive cobalion ;^;
*Watches video*
Hopes sword and shield has a boss with 6 Kingdra
Lol
Garch please no
No but rahin double battle first time gave.me carp thought in sheld i transfer deino and over level to hydragon to rip though his gym changle like nothing yah fairy may exiced when hydragon can use flash cannon to destory monst fairy or utrun to get the hell out there
That would’ve been nice
Red on top of the mountain and steven in the cave in emerald should be there. They both have lvl 80 pokemon
Juan can be somewhat tough for the same reason as Claire. Double Teaming Kingdra is so goddamn frustrating to deal with, especially in nuzlockes.
In the remakes he is nothing
Norman
+Juuzou The Gamer Norman was easy for me like you i had a Combuskon at the time with double kick rock smash ember and overheat and i also had a aron since its a steel/rock type steel being the best defensive type in the game and rock resisting normal easy
The twin Pyschics are NOTHING in the remakes, they olny have a Solrock and Lunatone!
Does anyone notice that he used chuggaconroys emerald sense? Because you could see kappa, moegami and acooltent
And pandora give a like if you see it
+pokeformer 101 He also used marriland's footage for NO.9
+Jack Bradley I don't watch marilland
+pokeformer 101 Well I might as well say it...
+Jack Bradley say what?
I wish they'd make another Pokemon game on a console instead of just the 3ds, and I'm not talking Pokepark and Pokken Tournament, I mean something like Colosseum and XD. Those are my fucking jams and it saddens me that it's been over a decade since they both came out :'/
Sydney Scott
Nintendo is too busy eating paste
Sydney Scott the internet ruined me so bad i read xd as XD
What’s the name of the song when he talks about Norman starting at 5:40?
Gen 3 gym battles.
Steve from pokemon Emerald... when you battle him for the 2nd time in the cave... he was a pain... he was the reason i discovered cheats for pokemon
did you mean, Steven?
yeah... lol... Steven
+Julius Alvin Librando Yep, his name is Steven.
finally someone who understands
But, Lance, though...Just...THE DRAGONITES, GUYS. The Dragonites...
What about Red at mt.Silver in HG/SG
Imo they should introduce a hard pokemon mode
What? You mean like a...challenge mode?
black 2/ white 2 have them
Imagine every trainer having Red-Realm difficulty
Did that in white 2 but still it's kinda easy. That game is easy in general though
Go for nuzlocke challenge
Look at the eyes of Kingdra in Emerald it says ''I'm gonna troll you! Get ready to be frustated!''
Hmm I've never found any battle in pokemon difficult. I just power level the starter and solo it on every battle. I never have problems.
Dude you are just like me P.S this guy sucks at Pokemon
Daemon Skycloak have you ever played pokemon XD?
Yea that only gets you to the elite 4 then your screwed with only a starter
Have you ever used a xp share?
Jason Tester First time I played Pokemon Black, I didn't like any of the Pokemon I saw, so I just used my starter for the ENTIRE GAME. (I had HM slaves, of course, but never used them in battle.)
I solo'd the Elite 4/N/Ghetsis/whatever with my Lvl.80+ Samurott. It was stupidly easy.
Hydro Cannon
Mega Horn
Dig
Revenge
I hate Watchhog...
Jarrin Davis**slowly nods head in agreement**
Goober Rae I dunno what it is with the normal Type Gym Leaders being so OP. The Normal type is nothing but the finest of ass (apart from Snorlax and to a certain extent Slaking). You get bodied by THIS whatchog but every single fucking one that comes after that just gets bodied. Its just that One Whatchog that is a pain in the ass. Apart from her and the ground type guy, Gen 5 was incredibly easy when it came to gym leaders IMO.
necroplastful Correct, My friend. Watchog is my most hated Pokemon because of Lenora and because its so freaking ugly.
Oh yeah and having to watch its stupid face.
I always have a luxury with bite because I always grind my Pokémon 30 and my starter to 38
When I'm against fantina sooo
I always have a dark type on my team since it's my favorite type. Though that mismagius sometimes can catch me off guard
@@loganburnette5485 Psybeam and Magical Leaf were annoying moves
Regarding that Mono-Poison play through: why wasn’t Beedrill or Ariados on the list? You could have caught either a Weedle or Spinarak before fighting Whitney. Or were you saving your other two team slots for something else in particular (Koffing/Weezing being an obvious choice)?
I genuinely do not understand why anybody had trouble with Whitney.
I know right. I've always found Morty way more difficult
Jonathan Crane yeah but I beat her with only my starter first time though (with grass types)
Freaking rollout+Attract is why
Hardest battles. Sure.
It shows a Champions Nidoqueen using Scratch. Yeah
...there are no champions with Nidoqueen...
For me fantina and Juan were one of the easiest battles I had.Against fantina you have to be careful and not use psychic or ghost instead use a markrow if you play diamond.Against Juan use manektrike or sceptile but double team is very annoying
Sideris Fam Note he was talking mainly about Platinum Fantina
THANK YOU for putting Fantina on here! I actually gave up on the 7th time I battled her. but with some new Pokemon, and a bit of Grinding, I finally won.
Thank god someone finally mentioned Fantina... I hated her lol😂
So I had to do it again :(
You poor soul.
The platinum battles were troubling sure but my Infernape swept most of the teams, EXCEPT the water gym, SCREW THAT GUY! AND HIS GYARADOS! Seriously I had 1 pokemon that could deal with that and it was Shinx and it was SEVERELY under-levelled
On a side note: GHETSIS I HATE YOU!
I swept through all the gyms pretty much as jolteon and empoleon were my strongest pokemon
+Jayden Holzhauser I once had an Infernape Close combat Wake's Gyarados, and it one-shot the Gyarados.
Freddy Williams I envy you!
+Jayden Holzhauser He was overlevelled as hell, though, I think it was level 38.
I wonder how you feel about ultra nekrozma?
what about the red fight on mt. silver? hardest fight ever
Jord Parke I beat reds lvl 80+ team with level 60 pokemon red was a pushover
Only if you start with a ground type. Otherwise Pikachu's Volt Tackle can destroy entire teams.
You can sweep his team with a heracross alone.
On crystal, I beat his team with level 50s or less
But Guys Remember The More Times U Fight Red The Higher Level His Pokemon Are At One Point There Level 100
I hear the champion of Pokemon Sun and Moon might be just as hard as Cynthia, apparently the champion is programmed to set up rocks first turn and actually battles like a competitve battler.
settings rocks with lycanrock is a bad idea, such a bad mon lol. Now had it been excadrill. . . Toobad it was alolan pokemon
Jerek Jones he means kukui
True, but you could potentially have a Rapid Spin user *cough*Starmie*cough*
Victor Wilson Nah he’s actually easy. But the new champ on sword and Shield is quite hard
Wut? Norman is easy af. Just use a fighting type, use X Defend and X attack at the start, heal and kick the duck out of his ass
Totem Lurantis anyone?
Ghetsis was a pushover for me somehow......
Probably because I over trained my pokemon.....
same m8 super easy
my hardest battle is the second gym leader from black and white the pain was unbearable
same
N was much more difficult than Ghetsis for me, mostly because he outsped and critical hit one shot my legendary dragon with his own. But neither of them were too terribly difficult.
I actually have swept Norman many, many times. So... :P
But, I still agree with Ghetsis.
Me too, mach punch breloom.
Norman's slacking was easy for my blazeken
Spam power-up punch or rock smash. I beat him with a rock smash lvl 22 ralts...
Red is not on this list... Disliking
Guilherme Girola Red isn't hard. It is epic though.
yeah, its epic i always thought that Red was hard
Subterra7 Red is hard.
Angelo Lane Ilersich I know a lot of people found him hard, I just never found him that difficult. Versing my friends was more difficult at the time.
Guilherme Girola Speedy said this in another video. The only reason Red is hard is because his Pokemon are high leveled. Once your Pokemon are strong enough, he goes down easy. It's not like that with Lance or Cynthia.
did nobody have a problem with winonna the flying gym leader in emerald her altaria destroyed me many many times
Winona is the hardest leader i've ever faced
sceptile was my preferred starter and as a kid my sceptile was way higher level than other members of my party so it was bad her darn altaria still haunts me to this day, but I got my revenge in OR though.
Bryan Boornazian Twice, she destroyed me, because at the time, I was unaware that Swablu evolved into a freaking dragon, armed with Earthquake of all things. It took me a while to figure out how my Electric attacks were suddenly doing little to no damage against a "bird".
ya that thing had it all dragon dance earthquake and dragon breath idk it was stupid strong when I went up againest it all those years ago
I thought I was the only one
Cook Oliver For #2 Chuggaaconroy reference? XD
Yep.
Evice is still not as dumb as Dakim's Camerupt.
Hoo, boy... Dakim's Camerupt killing Entei with an earthquake... Wait, wasn't Venus also dumb in a way with Suicune?
Cook Oliver hey did you know: shadow lugia has a move you can only get here; that you can only get form XD, meanign, if you get in from XD, to RSE, to DPP, TO BW/BW2, to X&Y to OR& AS, you can have a pokemon with a legal move it should not have.
What theme is the number transition?
i never really had a prob with any of these trainers
Robbie berg Me too... execpt #4, oh god how much revives did I use and fail over and over.
lol
Robbie berg His Hyderigon's dragon pulse attack one-hit KO my team EVERYTIME, it's sp.atk stat is just too brutal.
sounds like a fun time
Robbie berg Yes, a REAL fun time.
Claire was so hard for me! I remember I was stuck on her for so long that my friend who was playing through the game at the same time as me got so far ahead that he was already in the Kanto region by the time I was done.
Damn 😂
What about heart gold soul silver red. His pikachu is level 88
It's still Pikachu. I had a level 58 Nidoking crush it.
Gengarzilla yes but the rest of the team is still in the eighty's
LInkling Playz he is easy your just lazy to grind
A STAB earthquake can easily OHKO it.
Edit: His Pikachu can't do shit to a ground type like Quagsire.
Got a Typhlosion withnOP Earthquake :3
How did you get Rotom that early game in Diamond and Pearl?
