Have been to Indonesia many times & is one of my favourites. In the beginning staying at resorts & hotels thinking what an Indonesian experience it was, then realising it actually wasn't. The real thing is far removed from what they're selling, & much more fulfilling when simplified & localised at a grassroots level..the best experience of any country I've visited.
We totally agree! We love this style of travel and although we sometimes experience some luxury through Instagram, we always have an urge to get back to the Local Life! ✨

Beatiful & dangerous at the same time : Indonesia.
We live on ring of fire, the land of 150 active vulcano. 5 time earthquake per day, from lower to higher scale. But we blessed with vulcanic ash fertille land. Everythink can grow on our land, even just rock and stick. 😊

Thx so much for this video, its reminds me alot of my childhood when i was in my grandma kitchen in Jogja, 1 was born and raised in Jogja under that Mount Merapi , so almost everyday everynignht we saw that orange thing coming down from the top of Merapi Mount, try visit Kopi Klotok in Pakem, the viral traditional cafe in Jogja, and that cafe area is my neighborhood, even the President of Indonesia hang out in Kopi Klotok Cafe, Almost forgot, my grandma died in 109 + years old, and one thing i remembered she ate alot of vegetables from our garden, anyway i lived in Semarang city now, have fun guysss !!

They remind me about the beauty and happiness of living in simplicity in the real nature of village life. It recalls the memory of my childhood experience in Jogja at my old grandma's house. Staying with my mom's family in a small village, playing in the river, the paddy field, the bamboo forest was an unforgettable wonderful experience. It was a short stay during my school vacation, but I realized it was a beautiful memory that I really missed now. I hope I can bring back my kids to stay at the rural village, where the old javanese nature and culture are still preserved, like what you do. If you want to learn about the authentic Javanese culture, Jogja and its surroundings are the right place to learn about that, and the facts is rural Javanese people smile a lot and enjoy life unlike those in urban areas, that's why they live long lives, like my great grandfather who lives in Bantul Jogja, he is now over 100 years old and still healthy
