Sebenernya model baju kebaya brokat itu modifikasi untuk kalangan kelas atas belanda di masa kolonial, mereka seneng pake kebaya, tapi mereka modifikasi agar lebih mewah. Kebaya dulunya pake kain bertesktur polos, bukan yang renda2, terus ukurannya agak panjang dan nggak terlalu ketat. Model yang sekarang kebanyakan ya ambil contoh yang modifikasi belanda ini, karena kesannya lebih modern. Selera masing2 sih, kalo saya lebih suka imej yang lebih tradisional daripada modern, saya suka kebaya kain polos dengan sedikit sentuhan motif gambar/batik

i think tumpek landep is not only for pray to vehicle like car, bike, tuktuk, etc, but actually it is for all iron made weapon/tools, like knife, sickle, etc all weapon which is made of iron, becoz car, motor bike, etc are made of iron too and we use it everyday to help our daily life, thats why we also pray and put offering on it, but the main purpose for tumpek landep is all weapon/tools that made of iron, so we can ask Lord Shiva and Lord pasupati to purify it and bring good luck, becoz its a ceremony to save all types of sharp weapon/ tools, and ask Lord Shiva and Lord Pasupati to keep all that weapons/tools to be lucky, bring good luck, and useful for our life...

Indonesian people's(specially from villages/rural places) start the day so early morning(we called it from pagi"Subuh at 4-5 am)!!for the Muslims they've Subuh Praying...!!for the others religion like Hindu's Baliness specially just woke up earlier for running the market/selling breakfast(because your Husband and kid's gonna go to work and schools)or forget the farmers going too the rice fields early morning so wouldn't too hot in the fields, maybe they're going to Ngarit(cutting grasses for cows),,or Ngulah kedis(checking the rice fields that no birds destroying their young rice plants)
