Why would this method not work with rockstar wheels? I have rockstar wheels and thought about swapping out the tires myself.

My tires are not nearly that pliable. Been trying with two tire irons and lots of soap and can’t get the last 1/3 on, it’s stretched taught and won’t give without actually starting to bend the tire iron. What gives? Literally.

Is it easy to damage the tire bead or sidewall when you pry a new tire onto a rim?

Yeah. Out of four I damaged one. It barely seals now. Probably need a new tire.

How the hell, im trying to mount these same tires, cant even get the tire onto the rim. 30 minutes and 2 bent tire irons later, nothing. Is it cause im mounting 10 year old stiff rotten tires at 39 degrees in the AM?

Breaking the bead might be the hardest thing if they really stuck. I've had to clamp tires on different sections on a machine to find a weak spot to start a tire swap. Here if you can't slide new tires back on just add some lube or warm them up to stretch better, Some how...
