At my point it´s all about the lube. i had to take tire of from 14" steel rim with just three tire iron, breaking the bead with out lube was PIA. And oh, on the road tyre change? i did not have compressed air, just an bicycle pump, and it was so hard to get new tire back on the bead again.
TripleATireService thank you so much for that link . I’m currently trying to build my mobile tire business. How did you or do you market your business out there? And on this video what type of tire bars did you use to not scuff those aluminum rims people take care of so dearly? Again I know you’re a busy man and thanks for your response 👍🙏
+Scott Mcmartin it was a reverse mount wheel. I like to use the smaller bars for any passenger or smaller tires. In case it is a front mount wheel I do have leather protectors that snap on the rims lip so it prevents any damage.
TripleATireService I do these wheels almost the same way when not at a machine and as long as you properly lubricate and are precise with the bars you won't leave a mark at all, even on a black painted wheel such as this. BUT ...that's not a reverse mount. the drop center is on the front, where you dismounted it... And those $60 1.5T aluminum jacks are the balls, I use them too 😉
TripleATireService thank you im trying to go on my own this summer i have a lot to learn for the small tires I've done a lot of simi tires but not the ones with Rings around them...thanks for the video's
Any rookie tire changer could scratch the wheel while putting on a Michelin. That's easy to do. How about do the same video, only this time, mount a sumitomo on the rear and balance it on the car. Then I'll be impressed. What your doing is simple, plus you have all the necessary tools to do the job. Most of us tire techs don't have those kinda tools at home. Our tools are at the shop. You are using a service truck. If you can't change that tire with a service truck, you don't need to be driving that service truck.
ouch, no protection on the front of the wheel. wonder how deep the scratches are and how much paint is damaged.
No wasted moves - nothing like professionals!
Bro your videos are cool, but you never really explain what kind of bars or equipment you use. You have skills though no doubt.
Not a Single word. But Learned so much.
Even did a quick clean of the rim super professional right there you don’t really see much of that at a shop
Love how this is a one man job 👍
It's all about that bead breaker tool. I need one of those for sure.

What brand are those small bars?
Kentool
Who parks on the grass?
Nice work and fast.. it could've been better next time if you put rim guards before prying.
True but thought I really didn’t need to use them since this was a reverse mounted wheel.
What is the name of that tool you used in 3:20
Gaither Slide Hammer

I hope they're going to go have them balanced lol
Most of the car tires I balance only need 1/4-1/2 ounce of weight. You probably wouldn't notice much of a difference.
Pretty cool, but you should never work on a car that's raised without jack stands. It's not worth it.
No balanced lol 🤔🤔??
No balance tyre kk
I do truck tires and trailer mechanic work in Cleveland Ohio
Love your beed breaker! But your jack stands, not so much, actually not at all. Lost a friend like that. Not good!

Lol "on the road" with tools people don't just happen to carry with them. Great skills but misleading title.
Man this dude is good for some reason every time I do a passengers tire the slide hammer doesn’t do crap it requires a duck bill hammer
