    This is like the 4th tire mounting video that the installer was wearing slippers. Is that the key to making this easy?

    You made that look pretty easy and you even did it in slippers!

    Those are some real nice mud grips.looks like you had more trouble with that dish soap than you did mounting the tires lol.good job man.i just bought a set of real nice mud tires & got them real cheap because i bought from an individual.hell they want $120.00 to mount all 4.lol.what a rip off.ill be mounting my own

    • @thearcher1740
      @thearcher1740 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lot of that $120 goes toward balancing which can be quite difficult on big tires. Lot of weights & operator time and even then sometimes they're known to not balance. The mounting that you'll be doing on ur own is a small portion of the whole job.

    Get man got jump on that tire like wild man get first lip on rim then get Vise grip C- clamp on rim too keep tire down so it it's middle rim too stretch it on last bit , make dam sure you have triangle 🔺️ on tire at the air valve and you got good balance started, I worked at tire shop and it the key to nice balance minimal weights.

Hard work make you proud and the guy at the tire shop didn't scratch your new rims. Now take them to get balanced, lol.

    $15 at Walmart and they'll balance them and give you free rotations and flat repairs.

    • @bigworldparty
      @bigworldparty 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      But only if you bought the tire at Walmart - else I heard it's double the price? Also I think this guy might have had an easier time, if he was able to push the opposite side of the tire bead further down in the "alley" of the wheel. That way he would not have had to pry so hard to stretch the bead over the tire lip.

      Nothing wrong with the 15 part but the 8?? Part is what I'm sure he was referring to. Who the heck puts a 12.50 tire on a 8 wide rim?? A 10 would be minimum i would go. That sucked in sidewall look.. lol and it took 2 tire tools for him to struggidly mount that. I would have watched this video after shooting it an deleted the piss out of it lol need more practice bud. Made that way harder than it ever should have been. If had half a clue what was doing would have dropped that baby on with one tool in a jiff. Don't mind me man I'm sure you was hella proud of yourself. But don't post a how to video unless you actually know how to 👍

      @@RbaTmaR420 15x8 on a 12.5 tire is ideal for offroad, the extra force of the tire pushing on the rim helps prevent bead seperation when aired down, 15x10 rims are much easier to seperate with low air pressure, the buldging sidewall also helps to prevent rim damage from rocks.

      Just had mine done at les schwab. He did not balance the tires, still has to pay for that. My mount was $8 per tire, so he saved $32. Don't get me wrong, have done tires myself. I hope people are not getting charged more. Les schwab is even the most expensive shop around, great service though.
