    I provide UVB for my GTP. I use the new Arcadia bulb that is 2.4% and it has worked well so far. I think it's called Shade Dweller arboreal.

      Thanks so much for that! If people wish to use UVB that will help them out alot!

    What’s up I had a female green tree python. She is the friendliest one I had. She is about 5 foot long and loves to come out of her home and rest on my arm just open the door and out she came lol never been bitten by her . I’m building her new home much bigger 6 foot by 3 foot by 5 foot high. And it will be bio active. God bless and to all a bless day 🙏❤️❤️

      @@ronalbanesi1594 Lol... same story here. First snake was a Florida kingsnake at 5. Now 54. I have a GTP project as well. My little baby Biak is amazing.
      Edit: I have a male. He's in a bioactive enclosure now. Have had tremendous success with it.

    Is this reg tile grout that u would use for tile work? Ty

    • @ReptileWay
      @ReptileWay  ปีที่แล้ว

      I am particular with the grout I use... It is a tile grout. However, it's sanitised and high quality. It is also a popular building material in the Reptile hobby within Australia. And I follow it up with the waterproofing, this makes for easier cleaning and a higher calibre of husbandry as it makes it more sanitary.
      Some tile grouts may be toxic and poor quality. I would ask around the Reptile community as to what grouts are safe to use in your part of the world. A great place to ask this are on the Reptile DIY enclosure groups on Facebook. Or chatting to reputable breeders or even businesses that build enclosures.
      Hope that helps 🙏 🙂

    How did you run the power for the pump in that waterfall in the enclosure build you referenced in this video?

    • @ReptileWay
      @ReptileWay  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for taking the time to comment 🙂
      I actually ran the power cord back up through the PVC pipe (where the water comes out for the waterfall), then it leads out to the top right hand corner of the enclosure, and there's a little plastic slide on the lid that allows cords to be threaded through.
      However the cord has been nicely hidden through the stuck pebbles and rock formations.

    I have a v432 hat I want to stand up but the measurements are 54 inch tall 18 wide and 36 inch depth.. Do you think this would be ok?? Im worried the width is just not wide enough for sub adult

    • @ReptileWay
      @ReptileWay  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The enclosure measurements I included in the video are a rough guide. What you lack in Width you have in the depth. So keep this in mind when positioning the branches/perches. Make sure you have some branches positioned taking advantage of that depth as you do want your snake to be able to outstretch its body.
      So going on the measurements it is possible to house a Green tree python, if you're positioning the perches in the correct spots etc.
      However because I can't see the enclosure and your setup in the enclosure I can't say for definite it will work. I'm just commenting on the enclosure measurements 😊
