Goodbye Diablo? I mean, Path of Exile is just about better than every game in the Diablo franchise right now, but it has been for a while. Diablo is only now starting to actually get good. Diablo 4 is 100% happening probably sooner than later. Diablo 3 has come out on just about every Console. Diablo immortal is releasing on mobile. And Diablo 1 and 2 are still amazing, classic games. These are all some pretty big and great stuff. I am personally very much looking forward to the future of the franchise.

Started roughly 5 days ago. Let me just say; everything the dedicated player base has been saying about POE is true. Content is crazy good and tons of it. Leagues, story mode, Labyrinth, Huge Economy... incredible deep, rich history of the world your Exile exists in. This is a top tier release. I hope it translates well for the players on PS4. Enjoy.
I had the exact same reaction seeing this. Kept seeing people suggest it on forums but watching streamers in the past it never appealed to me. Downloading it now as we speak on my phone I mean PC.

Mathil usually creates like 10 builds per league, but keep in mind that he has a large follower base so some items for those builds spike after he releases a video, then they go back down up to a point. I do not have a PS4 but DAMN i love the Witch... pitty You changed her starting monologue... "They were right to fear me. Had they not taken my home with fire, i wouldn't have taken their CHILDREN." Man i love the Witch... Heidi O'Loughlin did such a great job giving her that awsome voice.
I also loved (still do) the witch's comments and the old monologue. It was one of the best to tell you "this is isn't about heroes and villains, this is about survival" and how brutal the PoE's world is.

This game would crush a phone. It took a long time to get the stuttering down when the whole screen has multiple layers of explosions. Graphics and CPU aren't there yet
I like contrast between this and the diablo series. We see the monsters, gods and every type of menace we face in the trailer. We see how awesome the fights are and how minor the character presence is. It's not like in Diablo where all you see is a power fantasy of heroes just rolling through mobs. This got old quite fast, for me at least. I'm glad that GGG understand its playerbase so well. Thanks guys, great job!

but regarding actually engine code and that handles the battles diablo is smoother....and it would be more elegant if it was offline. but POF is not so often this chaos of rainbow effects where you just click everywhere anything when you can't even see anymore your own character in the battle. visual clearance is a Very important think and diablo3 lucks compared to PoE in my opinion.

you know that grinding gears probably jumped to the roof during blizzard's fail with diablo and insta previewed the release on ps4. this is nail in the coffin for diablo.

Diablo 3 is better optimized, but let's not pretend like PoE is any more graphically intensive. They could easily get it on Switch, if they wanted to devote the resources to actually doing it.
Just give me the health and mana with the ability to move it to the bottom left corner and I'd be happy. As it is now it needlessly takes up too much space and in the place I hate the most, the top screen. I like a clean top screen.

It would feel pretty good to get 1000% more than now even if you only get it 10% of the time, less grindy and more rewarding feeling. However they should then remove the sulphite cap so you don't overcap with the new quantities.

Omg this is the first good poe trailer I've seen in years! Put shivers down my spine, showed a lot of gameplay and customization options, and even had an incredibly omage to the older game with the old witch dialogue. YAY GGG!!!! Makes me not even care it's for a console version of the game.
