I had one in '73 while a high school kid in Panama. Man, I rode that thing everywhere. School, dates, rainy season, jungle, beach, everywhere.

I bought a new one in 1973. I was 16 years old. Later I rode it in 1975 to class at Helena Votech

Kaplan got your ears on? I won the 15th annual prairie dog motorcycle club 100 mile cloudcroft New Mexico Mile high Enduro placing first overall on the 1974 model version of what you're riding in this video.. she was making a hell of a noise down in the frame area around the back of the transmission without 10 miles to go to the finish line and it stayed together to the finish.... Upon further inspection the next day the frame was cracked around the rear lower engine mount to the swingarm pivot point.... After pulling a cap off of the piggyback reservoir on the rear shocks there was no oil in them instead there was silver dust but I got a great big trophy for my efforts

Wow that brings me right back to my early days of riding. The whole neighborhood had different models of these classics. From the 90 to 360 what an exciting time.

I have this bike, runs but needs to be restored, doesn’t have oil tank so has to be premixed. Bought it off Craigslist in San Francisco about six years ago for 1k.

I'm 71 years old and these where the class of bikes I developed my off road riding skills back in their day ..they are pretty docile with a long power band so not to flip you over backwards like the MX well so it makes a good beginners bike even though it's 360 cc's that relates more to tractor pulling torque it'll take you right up the side of a mountain no problem as I have won the cloudcroft Mile high Enduro with the 1974 version.. actually the 1973 version like this one is a little better in certain ways as the wheelbase is slightly shorter than the 1974 so the 1973 will turn tighter radiuses in the woods around trees and things. I can safely say I'll bet money that this one is totally original as all the things that they mentioned are original would have been totally destroyed and most missing if they could ever been in a hands of our crowd.. and when he mentioned the airbox is intact that's the first thing that would have been gone as we had to remove it to install a larger carburetor as they come with about a 28 mm which makes them docile as I added a 36 mm carburetor the air box goes bye-bye and you have to build a completely different one which usually is a foam sock and away you go... Without asking this bike is worth what they're asking for it's a piece of time standing

We had one of those in the early 90s, ran like a top and had incredible torque. Torque that was better than 4 cycle single bikes.

What a beauty!!!have you guys ever seen a 1980 SUZUKI DS100? I had one when I was a kid. Every time I hear a 2 stroke,it brings back great memories. I definitely want to purchase a classic Enduro from you guys. I will keep checking the website for a bike I can afford. Thank you for preserving these bikes. God bless

I got a pair of RD(?)350’s off an old lady back in the day(1990ish). Twin cylinder. Ugly as sin! We laughed about it till we got one running. Stood up in 3 gears. Freaking rocket! For what it was. Service manual said 13.8 quarter miles stock.

A friend of mine had that exact bike when I was 15 years old, around 1975. The motor was pretty good, but the suspension was laughable. At best it had 4 inches of travel on the rear, but after you sit on it you only have 2 inches left, if you're lucky.

My brother is addicted to these. Had a few of them. They make a much better road bike than a MX bike. Great engine, but handles like a pregnant whale for MX duty.
With modern rubber and brake material, it would make a good light dual-sport.
Consider Boyesen reeds mandatory- get rid of the OE steel reeds immediately.
