  • Just a little video I threw together with more information about the 4 stroke Yamaha vino classic. I’ve seen 2 stroke vino videos all over but not many specific to the vino classic. Sorry for the edits! This is my first video so bare with me please! All the information in this video is either my opinion, experience, or a collection of information I’ve come across so take it with a grain of salt. Work on your own vehicles at your own risk! If you have anymore information or corrections please feel free to leave them in the comments!

the spacer thats typically there on 50cc bikes to limit the top speed. its not there on yours, i have the same bike and am looking to make the performance better.
    any experience modifying the exhaust?

Thank you for the video. I have never made any videos for TH-cam, but owning a 2006 Vino 4T...I'm tempted to make some and hope folks (even if it's aimed at beginners) watch them. There's plenty of stuff for the 2T variants, but, not so many for the carbed 4T.

I know it's a year later, but that cable is to lock your rest wheel when you lock the handle bars.

Were those 15x12 or 16x13? Did the performance change? Would you recommend the 5.5G or lighter?

Did this add any more top end or acceleration to your vino? I have a 2006 and I'm gonna be doing this same install with a malossi variator kit.

Alexander Trygg All i did was replace the old belt. An aftermarket performance variator may help out your acceleration and/or top speed. My original belt wasn’t in too bad of shape so the new one didn’t make much of a difference for me.

Sorry, I don’t remember and have sold the scooter. I know I bought a cheap security bit set at harbor freight. I think it was only about $7 or $8 and it had the right size bit in it.

nickster375 there shouldn’t be much play at all. The variator belt needs to be taut so that it doesn’t slip.
