Made me teary eye remembering Freddo’s journey. He, Sam and Luke worked so hard on his rehabilitation. Once his guard was down and learned that it was safe to love and be loved, Freddo became the amazing dog that resided in him. I love Freddo so much. He is gorgeous, loyal, courageous, funny and so much more. He is a testament of what love and training can do for shelter dogs that have only known neglect and abuse by bad humans.

What an emotional journey for Freddo...and us. Hearing Luke say early on that he needed to be a bit distant with Freddo, as Freddo would give his all to his forever family. Then, no applications for Freddo. Broke my heart. Then another twist...Luke and Sam adopt Freddo. Gosh, the happy tears. And what a magnificent guard dog he has become, giving his heart to his family, just as Luke said. May he have many years of happy days at the Farm, loved and cherished by all.

I can't imagine why Freddo was returned 4 times in 6 years. That blows my mind. And to think he was on the euthanasia list.....OMG!!! Out of all the shelter dogs you have helped, he is one of my favorites. I love Freddo! So happy you took a chance on this boy. Thank you Luke and Sam.

He is uncle to the puppies and now Kitty Rose too, counsellor to the rescues, lifeguard to the children - who would have thought eh? I love Freddo. All the shelter dogs who were labeled “aggressive”, “dog reactive”, “unsuitable for homes with small children or animals”, “must be homed as only dog”, are a testament to Luke, Sam, Jason, and the Farm. Because of their respect for the dogs, their guidance, training, and love, they all were given the chance to be the dogs they were always meant to be. Every single one has become a loving, vital member of another family. And those that don’t get another forever home, are living the good life on the Farm. The Farm is the closest thing to Heaven here on earth. There are no bad days on the Farm. And there are no bad dogs on the Farm. As Michelle said in another comment on this post, “If only they could see. I’ve often wondered that, if any of his prior homes have seen any of these videos”. I have wondered this myself. Boy! What they have missed out on! “That dog you gave up on. The one you didn’t have time for. The one you mistreated. The one you beat because they didn’t do what you wanted. The one you only wanted to make a buck on through non-stop breeding. The one you only wanted for fighting. WELL, LOOK AT HIM NOW!”

Hoping they see how amazing Freddo is and how any dog really can be with lots of love and guidance. That they would never have a “Freddo“ type situation again. The Evans family definitely are the lucky ones and to be honest so are we. People all over have fallen in love with Freddo. 🐶🐾💕
Not all, but I think a lot of people are lazy and don’t want to put in the work. Unfortunately, I see a lot of folks rehoming dogs for minor behavioral issues or things they should have considered before adopting - things like (“we have a baby now so we don’t have the time to devote to a dog”). 🙄
This gives me all the feels. Freddo’s journey just amazes me. I remember Luke saying early days he wasn’t building much of a relationship because he didn’t want Freddo to feel abandoned again. Little did he know how good his future was!
Loved this! Freddo has stolen the hearts of thousands. His bow tie wardrobe is unique to him. The sadness is, he didn’t find this love and care until he was a mature dog. He will know love, fun and friends from now on. Luke and Sam are his dream come true. Thanks Ben for your work. This was great!

I have a soft spot for Freddo, he finally got the life he didn't know existed but was his future. He learned a lot from Bandit, he watched every move Bandit made because he knew he had something wonderful to share with humans and Bandit knew how to give it and how to get it! LOVE! Being a GOOD BOY was a lesson well learned by Freddo! I AM SO PROUD OF FREDDO and so grateful to Luke for giving him a dream he didn't know was waiting for him. GENTLE BOY💜💗😍🦋
I have a real soft spot for Freddo as we have a Rotweiller. We got him when he was 13 months old and we think he came from a not very good home as he was scared of a lot of things but now hes the biggest sweetest loving dog i could ask for and seeing Freddo transform to having a forwver home and how he is today fills me with so much happiness
I cried so much the day when the Evans adopted him 💞 an now, almost one year later, he is a beautiful dog, living his best life in the best place The Farm 🎉, Freddo the fish 😘

Look what was waiting under those layers! His former owners never found it, didn’t even know how to look really. Nobody knew how until Luke and Sam happened into his life and they had the love and patience to sort through the layers and the more he came out the closer they embraced him and held him dear. I remember too when he came to the farm an aggressive dog with all these issues but what a gorgeous boy he is, Luke and Sam have done a fabulous job! Love 💕 Freddo! 🐶🐶🥰🥰 Sadly, when I see a Rottweiler in the street with the owner I keep my distance, because you don’t know what sort of training that owner has given his dog; so sad that this breed sometimes are bred to be violent and aggressive and it gives the breed a bad name. I wonder too about the previous owners….and wonder they can see how gorgeous, lovable, beautiful, able to socialise with all 4 and 2 legged beings and enjoying his life! It proves how successful Luke’s training is with Freddo which has been, pure magic!🤩🤩🐶🐶🐶 Thank you Ben for the video!

I didn't cry AT ALL 😭😭😭😭😭watching this brilliant video of the beautiful Freddo 🤩 This reminder of how far this lovely boy has come is evidence in itself that no matter how old the dog, or the state they're in, they're never, ever too old to learn to be the best dog they can be. Freddo, you're so loved by so many of us, you'll always be our big beautiful boy that laid aside your past and allowed the best humans ever to bring out the very best in you 🥰
I'm not crying, YOU'RE crying...😉💖And, you're right, it's never, ever too late to help a dog. Like Luke says, it just takes a common language, good faith and, very importantly, mutual respect. You don't have to raise your voice (except perhaps to avert danger) or punish or shame them to get the behaviour that's wanted.

Love this. What a journey this dog has been on, thank god you guys answered the call to help all those shelter dogs. Cos all the dogs like Freddo, Shadow, Barney, Miss Violet Miss Red with all their behavioural or physical problems would more than likely not have made it through the shelter system. Thanks, Ben. This is a beautiful watch. Freddo is the epitome of what training & love can achieve. He stole my heart on Day 1 and when he went into 'rescue' mode in the pool when he, himself, wasn't yet confident in the water I was unbelievably proud of him. I watched that video so many times and cried every time - still do. It was a testament to the lengths he would go to protect his family.
Freddo is such a majestic dog. After learning to trust Luke & Sam at the farm, he opened that big doggie heart and let the world in. I love how he watches over the children. He doesn't want to lose his new family. If he only knew how many people across the world love him❤️.

Seeing Freddo from the beginning when he was so aggressive to now when he will easily relinquish toys to Luna ( a brand new rescue he doesn't really know yet) in the pool has been a testament to the hours and hours of hard work, unconditional love and faith that Freddo, Luke, Sam, and team have completed together to end up with this big, loveable boy.

I've gotten so used to seeing Freddo dive into the water for the toys that I forgot how uncomfortable he was. I think the turning point was "saving" Elle. He got praised and loved for that action and realized water didn't have to be scary. And now, he's a fish! lol
If I said it once I have said it every time there is a video with Freddo! He is an amazing dog who gives his love to the Evan’s family every time he is with them. You all have had so many success stories but Freddo tugs at my heart each time I see him. So many families rejected him but Sam and Luke had faith in him. Now we can follow him forever! Oh sweet boy Freddo. Such a great addition to the Evans pack and you can tell he's so grateful for being saved. Who would have thought that within a year Freddo's life would have changed so much. I wasn't sure about Freddo when he first came to the farm because he looked like a tough nut to crack but Luke knew there was something special about Freddo and what he could achieve. With Luke's training and the unconditional love from the Evans family Freddo has turned into the best family dog. It's a miracle played out before our eyes. Freddo deserves every cuddle, and kiss, and hug, and all the live he gets. And more! He had such a hard life, but he overcame that with the help and patience of Luke and Sam and all the folks at The Farm. I just love him to pieces. He is the most loyal and loving dog. ❤️

Look what was waiting under those layers! His former owners never found it, didn’t even know how to look really. Nobody knew how until Luke and Sam happened into his life and they had the love and patience to sort through the layers and the more he came out the closer they embraced him and held him dear. You are absolutely right, looking under those layers looking for the true Freddo. I remember too when he came to the farm an aggressive dog with all these issues but what a gorgeous boy he is, Luke and Sam have done a fabulous job! Love 💕 Freddo! 🐶🐶🥰🥰
Sadly, when I see a Rottweiler in the street with the owner I keep my distance, because you don’t know what sort of training that owner has given his dog; so sad that this breed sometimes are bred to be violent and aggressive and it gives the breed a bad name.
I wonder too about the previous owners….and wonder they can see how gorgeous, lovable, beautiful, able to socialise with all 4 and 2 legged beings and enjoying his life! It proves how successful Luke’s training is with Freddo which has been, pure magic!🤩🤩🐶🐶🐶 Thank you Ben for the video!

I didn't cry AT ALL 😭😭😭😭😭watching this brilliant video of the beautiful Freddo 🤩 This reminder of how far this lovely boy has come is evidence in itself that no matter how old the dog, or the state they're in, they're never, ever too old to learn to be the best dog they can be. Freddo, you're so loved by so many of us, you'll always be our big beautiful boy that laid aside your past and allowed the best humans ever to bring out the very best in you 🥰
I'm not crying, YOU'RE crying...😉💖And, you're right, it's never, ever too late to help a dog. Like Luke says, it just takes a common language, good faith and, very importantly, mutual respect. You don't have to raise your voice (except perhaps to avert danger) or punish or shame them to get the behaviour that's wanted.

Love this. What a journey this dog has been on, thank god you guys answered the call to help all those shelter dogs. Cos all the dogs like Freddo, Shadow, Barney, Miss Violet Miss Red with all their behavioural or physical problems would more than likely not have made it through the shelter system. Just amazing to see them now 🐾❤️🐾

Thanks, Ben. This is a beautiful watch. Freddo is the epitome of what training & love can achieve. He stole my heart on Day 1 and when he went into 'rescue' mode in the pool when he, himself, wasn't yet confident in the water I was unbelievably proud of him. I watched that video so many times and cried every time - still do. It was a testament to the lengths he would go to protect his family.
The Farm and the Evans family are the best thing that ever happened to Freddo. Such a beautiful loving boy. He deserves every happiness❤️🇬🇧
Freddo is such a majestic dog. After learning to trust Luke & Sam at the farm, he opened that big doggie heart and let the world in. I love how he watches over the children. He doesn't want to lose his new family. If he only knew how many people across the world love him❤️.

Great video Ben!!! Seeing Freddo from the beginning when he was so aggressive to now when he will easily relinquish toys to Luna ( a brand new rescue he doesn't really know yet) in the pool has been a testament to the hours and hours of hard work, unconditional love and faith that Freddo, Luke, Sam, and team have completed together to end up with this big, loveable boy.

I've gotten so used to seeing Freddo dive into the water for the toys that I forgot how uncomfortable he was. I think the turning point was "saving" Elle. He got praised and loved for that action and realized water didn't have to be scary. And now, he's a fish! lol
If I said it once I have said it every time there is a video with Freddo! He is an amazing dog who gives his love to the Evan’s family every time he is with them. You all have had so many success stories but Freddo tugs at my heart each time I see him. So many families rejected him but Sam and Luke had faith in him. Now we can follow him forever! It was so beautiful to watch Freddo change from a fierce, angry, aggressive dog into the sweetheart he is today. He looks so relaxed now that he is free from all that anger. It's amazing what love and discipline can do.
Who would have thought that within a year Freddo's life would have changed so much. I wasn't sure about Freddo when he first came to the farm because he looked like a tough nut to crack but Luke knew there was something special about Freddo and what he could achieve. With Luke's training and the unconditional love from the Evans family Freddo has turned into the best family dog. It's a miracle played out before our eyes. I'm so pleased that Freddo is happy and living his best life at long last.
