Luke always has a smile on his face and such a friendly demeanor. I love watching the dogs get on and off the bus. Everyone(owners, dogs, and Luke) look like it’s just the best day ever. The teamwork between Luke getting dogs out of the bus and Sam welcoming them and making sure of a safe exit is great to watch. What a wonderful team! Thanks for the video Ben!
He often looks to me, on the videos, as though he is more than one dog!! 🤎 He goes in and out of the view of the camera so quickly, and comes in from every direction! It's like he de-materializes then re-materializes in the video. Do you recall when he first came to the Farm? Just a wild little fellow...and not much has changed!😊❤

These pickups are just funny and sweet at the same time. The dogs run to the bus and into a crate. All is quiet until they get close to The Farm, then they get so excited and tell everyone about it. Genius edits on so much Joy! Part of Luke's attaction to us fans is how much he really loves what he does. It's infectious to witness the joy and zest for life he brings to this, and that is reflected in all the dogs. Thank you Ben for the great walk down memory lane. I'm ear to ear with grinning.

Luke my fav bit is when you take the bus to pick up the doggo's and how exited they are to see you & for the fun day at the farm. The way they dive on the bus get to the farm and the excitement picks up again after a doze on route and they get to the farm. It is just magical they certainly love our Luke Sam & Jason. Trying desperately to focus on all the good and wonderful things the Farm provides all the rescues and am so thankful that they have you to depend on now but it’s hard not to miss the sheer joy and delight and pure excitement of all those pups who have waited for their day at Doggie Daycare. Watching their enthusiasm for their day out quickly became my “happy place.” And as I came to know each of the dogs … Bandit, Penny, Annabelle, Milo, Hercules, Chester, Buddy the Tibetan Terrier ❤, Arthur, Daisy, Billy, Gilly, Gus, Frankie, Etta, Minnie, Princess, Ariel, Nova, Malee (goodness where do I stop!) … I found myself caring about each one, wondering how they were doing and missing them when they weren’t there. Please, don’t take this wrongly. I believe in what you do so strongly that when the format changed I just had to become a member and am happy to be of help in that small way. But sometimes I see myself as one of the Daycare pack, missing the gang on our weekly visits.
Being a Brit after watching the Queen's funeral for the last 7 hours this is just the pick me up needed! Loved your Australian military on parade by the way 💕
Completely agree Mandy. I watched from dawn to the end and found it the most moving day. At around 6.30pm, I tuned in to Max Out in the Lake District. Kerry Irving and his two dogs Paddy Bear and Harry, have made thousands for charities and he started an area called Memory Wood on the Cumbrian Way, where a couple of years ago, he started (with the area authorities) a place where people who wanted to, could purchase a sapling via his Paw Store website, selected by the authorities and in memory of someone or an animal or whatever they liked, and plant it themselves on a specifically planned day, or they'd be planted by people who worked for the Lake District Trust. At the time of the first planting, his dog Max was still alive. This 14 year old spaniel was so loved by Kerry and thousands of followers. Anyway, Max's ashes are planted there, and it's such a peaceful place that he often does his 'live' walks from. When Her Majesty passed away, he said he was going to see if he could get special permission to plant an oak tree in Memory Wood. His walk last night was done at Memory Wood with a very strong oak tree planted and overlooking the rest of the site. It was so moving and a very personal gesture from him and all of his followers. This marked the end of a very emotional day. His site is very very different to the Farm site, but Kerry is as completely open and honest as Luke and Sam. The boys are always up to some mischief or other, but the most adorable spaniels with such different characters. I never miss a video, or 'live' from that or the Farm. Precious people looking after precious dogs to give them the best lives.
Without a doubt, every single one of those precious fur babies has a big smile on their faces after they have got on the bus. They sit down or lie down and relax with a big smile on their faces. It's just so cute to see that. 😊😃❤❤❤❤ Just so adorable. ❤❤❤ 😊
If the students were as excited to see the bus driver, and the driver, as warm and welcoming as Luke during these pickups, we wouldn't have a bus driver shortage as we do here in the good ol' U.S. of A. Nice pick 'em up mix; thanks.

Watching this makes me miss the daycare days with so many of those fun babies. Long drives for sure but what a load of love Luke carries with him. I do miss seeing Mr. Bandit on a regular basis, but the shelter dogs have all benefited from the extra time you have given them. Thanks for the memories. 💜🐶❤️
I miss Daycare and seeing Bandit more often! The work with the shelter dogs is so rewarding and so necessary. Not everyone can give them what they need. They sure get all they need at The Farm!
forty different daycare dogs alternate every week. They also come up on extended holidays so you actually see more of them. It's school holidays so Sam said more dogggies are staying.

This is a fab compilation of pick ups,farm arrivals,lure chases,dam,pool games and frolics and just perfect to end a very emotional and Historic Day here in the UK for our Queen of 70yrs historic funeral took place and she was finally interred with her beloved Phillip,mother,father,sister etc and we have had an absolutely amazing day of pomp,pageantry,history in the making and emotion ❤️ it's been something to behold and never to be seen again on quite such a scale,some years ago Queen Elizabeth planned her own funeral and checked the arrangements each year altering them accordingly and even in death she was a very wise woman requesting all dignitaries travel by commercial flights/transport to help the planet and to travel by Coach to the Abbey etc ,yes they all queued up for the coaches Kings,Queens,Prime ministers, heads of state etc who do not get on but had to attend the pre funeral function's of Buffets,gatherings etc and travel together so they had to be civil and speak/ acknowledge each other hmm 🤔 they were sat randomly in the Abbey and there was no media focus on any individual or country representative, a very clever lady now departed ,RIP Elizabeth 💙 just to add I am not a Royalist but was born in the Elizabeth 2nd era ,only known her and have learnt so much more since her passing 💙 Now we have a King and a new era..but many thanks for this to lift me up ,dogs do it every time 👍 xx keep safe Lynn, Shrewsbury 🇬🇧 xxx

I don’t know how you can have a bad day with all of those happy faces waiting for you. I’m not surprised the dogs know what day they’re going to the farm. When we would get a suitcase out, our dogs instantly went into sad behavior. How do they remember from the last time? It could be a year since we had them out.
Jim, does your dog's climb into your suitcases when you get them out? If I get a travel bag out my chihuahua is in it as soon as I set it down. Might be because he is used to going places in a shoulder carrier, but it is the cutest thing ever!
They are a lot smarter than many people give them credit for. When we are taking our dogs out in the car, I put my purse by the door, let the dogs out in the back yard to do their business and then get their seatbelt harnesses out. When they hear their harnesses, they go crazy. However, if I handle their harnesses without placing my purse by the door, they don't move. The continue with whatever they are doing. They know we aren't going anywhere.
Everyday at 3pm, on the dot, my 17 year old Yorkie would get up from where she was resting, walk to the front door and take a seat on the floormat and wait to go for her walk, like clockwork so I totally get it 😉🥰
@@GretelandRoo I used to walk one dog who lived in my building...I would pick her up at 2.30 every afternoon. At 2.35, if I hadn't come to the door, she would call for me until she heard my door open.😊💙
I just adored this because I think pickups are some of my favourite occasions. The dogs super excited, no goodbye to mum or dad and sometimes barely a hello to Uncle Luke just so excited to be going. Love 😍 it
The pups are sure happy to see Luke and get on the bus. They even know where their cage is. Doug and his brother run to the back of the bus and sit in front of their cage waiting for Luke to open it so they can get in. 😉

I got a rescue dog that was given up after someone moved. I didn’t put it together right at first. Anything in a box he destroyed, the contents of small boxes we would find strewn around the backyard. He only ate the box. Then when we sold the house and started to bring boxes in to pack, in the night he ate the corners of the packed boxes. The sound of the large scotch tape dispenser sent him running. When I took him with me in the moving van he slept for the whole trip, he was as exhausted as we were after packing the moving van. We only moved one other time after that but he was less reactive the second time. It’s sad to think his relationship with boxes was the case of Demodex, stress mange and about 6 months at a shelter. I loved him so much. I lost Dozer to cancer.
My favorite pickup was an earlier one, where I believe it was Zara being so excited she ran right into the open cargo area on the side of the bus.😋😍😆 😂
How I would have loved to entrust my dog to Luke and all his team! But sending him 6000 km away once a week ........🤭 It's very early to get up with a big day afterwards, but what a joy to see the party that all the members of the pack make for him!!! it's too cute and very reassuring for the "parents". 💕
So wonderful to see those happy faces I've missed! I never remember all of their names but I love seeing them again, and again. In my life I've met several dogs that knew the days of the week and knew ahead of time what happens on certain days. They're often so much smarter than we give them credit for being. I couldn't help but be a little sad now that some of them don't get their special Wednesdays any more. I hope there are others doing a great job in taking up where y'all left off to do the much needed work you now do. Thank you for all you do, and never forget that you spread joy all over the world, even here to Florida, USA.

I remember one day when he said he was up bright and early and walked to the bus in complete darkness only to realize when he got there that he had the car keys instead of the bus keys. Back to the house to start all over again. Something I would do.
Ah! You forgot to include 1 essential part of the morning pick-up - the stop to get breakfast🤣🤣🤣 Absolutely glorious just seeing the doggies running onto the bus, with excited energy that can power a city or 2. ❤️❤️❤️

When we are taking our dogs out in the car, I put my purse by the door, let the dogs out in the back yard to do their business and then get their seatbelt harnesses out. When they hear their harnesses, they go crazy. However, if I handle their harnesses without placing my purse by the door, they don't move. The continue with whatever they are doing. They know we aren't going anywhere.
That’s funny about your dog getting in the suitcase. I forgot about that. Ours did do that. We had Golden Retrievers….not all at one time.
Everyday at 3pm, on the dot, my 17 year old Yorkie would get up from where she was resting, walk to the front door and take a seat on the floormat and wait to go for her walk, like clockwork so I totally get it 😉🥰
@@GretelandRoo I used to walk one dog who lived in my building...I would pick her up at 2.30 every afternoon. At 2.35, if I hadn't come to the door, she would call for me until she heard my door open.😊💙

I just adored this because I think pickups are some of my favourite occasions. The dogs super excited, no goodbye to mum or dad and sometimes barely a hello to Uncle Luke just so excited to be going. Love 😍 it
The pups are sure happy to see Luke and get on the bus. They even know where their cage is. Doug and his brother run to the back of the bus and sit in front of their cage waiting for Luke to open it so they can get in. 😉

I got a rescue dog that was given up after someone moved. I didn’t put it together right at first. Anything in a box he destroyed, the contents of small boxes we would find strewn around the backyard. He only ate the box. Then when we sold the house and started to bring boxes in to pack, in the night he ate the corners of the packed boxes. The sound of the large scotch tape dispenser sent him running. When I took him with me in the moving van he slept for the whole trip, he was as exhausted as we were after packing the moving van. We only moved one other time after that but he was less reactive the second time. It’s sad to think his relationship with boxes was the case of Demodex, stress mange and about 6 months at a shelter. I loved him so much. I lost Dozer to cancer.

But sending him 6000 km away once a week ........🤭 It's very early to get up with a big day afterwards, but what a joy to see the party that all the members of the pack make for him!!! it's too cute and very reassuring for the "parents". 💕

So wonderful to see those happy faces I've missed! I never remember all of their names but I love seeing them again, and again. In my life I've met several dogs that knew the days of the week and knew ahead of time what happens on certain days. They're often so much smarter than we give them credit for being. I couldn't help but be a little sad now that some of them don't get their special Wednesdays any more. I hope there are others doing a great job in taking up where y'all left off to do the much needed work you now do. Thank you for all you do, and never forget that you spread joy all over the world, even here to Florida, USA.

I remember one day when he said he was up bright and early and walked to the bus in complete darkness only to realize when he got there that he had the car keys instead of the bus keys. Back to the house to start all over again. Something I would do.
