@@JulotttEveryone's experience in how they thrive on raw is different. Why don't you allow for that fact?🤷‍♀️ And incidentally, you can get plenty of calories from a WFPB diet. I don't know why you think it's "hard". Do you not know how to eat enough? 😂 As for greens, there's certainly nothing wrong with having as much as you feel comfortable with. It's up to you and your body. How do you feel? Are you thriving? It's different for everyone. You can't have a one size fits all mentality. Personally, I wouldn't want to live on a fruit-based diet. Too boring, and I'd get sick of the constant sweetness. I'd need to balance it out with savory salads, nuts, and a little cooked vegan food. I like fruit more for cleansing and detoxification. You have to do what feels intuitively right for you. Getting dogmatic and saying your way is the only way doesn't honor the differences in how other people respond to the food they eat. Some become hypoglycemic on too much fruit. It's not for everyone, and that's ok.

You really opened my eyes this morning. I did not know that about K1. I've had problematic teeth. My dentist loves me. And my vegetable intake is zilch when compared to what you described when drinking your juices. Every time I watch one of your videos - I walk away just shocked because I learn so much - IN ONE PLACE!!! In fact, one a scale of 1 to 10, my vegetable intake is about 1. Terrible. I thought I was eating a lot of veggies - but the more I watch and listen to your message, I realize more and more that I need to up my game on veggies. Thank you John - you're the best.

Zucchini, summer squash, cucumbers, tomatoes, avocados, okra, eggplant, hot & sweet peppers, bean & pea pods, etc. are all fruit. An all fruit diet, which I am not for or against, doesn’t have to be all sugary sweet fruit only.

What about nuts, John? How much fat is optimal? I know greens have some Omega-3 fats, but I know that most raw food advocates say you have to choose between fruit and fat. But you're eating a ton of veggies, a moderate amount of fruit, but what percentage of fat would you think would be best? I don't think 80/10/10 is optimal, but maybe 60/20/10 with more of the carbs coming from veggies compared to fruits. I'm not really raw, but I do eat maybe 50% of calories uncooked. Just curious on your fat percentage.

While I agree we are frugivores for the most part, we are very adaptable as is most life on the planet. the fact is we can digest vegetables and absorb nutrients out of them. Tender greens are easiest. That being said, just because a straight slot screwdriver was designed for straight screws doesnt mean it cant be used to remove a philps head screw. This is why I use a juicer and vacuum blender to make the nutrients more easily absorbed in vegetables that can be harder to digest. Plus I chew really well. That being said, each person is free to live their live based on their beliefs and live with the consequences of them. I am simply sharing what I have learned and observed. You can surely take it or leave it.

We all share the same biology, but we're all different in how we respond to our food.

There is reasons if ripe fruit taste much better and is much more appealing to people than greens because calories is much more importants to survival, this is also why the rats in this ridiculous famous experience preferred sugar over cocaine and not because sugar is an addictive drug, it tastes also much better, cocaine is bittera and contains 0 calorie.
Foods being higher in nutrient doesnt mean they will bring more nutrient to the body, the bioavailability is different, grass and wood are also rich in nutrients but cant give us much, ripe fruits nutrients are much more available to our digestion than raw greens nutrients espcially the harder ones like kale and similar.
It is already not always easy to eat enough calories long term on a whole food plant based diet, even more difficult raw and/or low fat, i cant imagine if people start doing the mistake of eating half or more of their diet from greens and low calories fruits... a reicipe for disaster.
We are not folivore gorillas, we dont have this hughe colon they have to handle and digest correctly high amount of cellulose without us getting discomfort from it.

nope. I mentioned in the video I have been including limited quanitites (for example, had 5 and 2 artichokes) of high nutrient low calorie heat processed vegetables in around the 2:30-3:00 mark. They are the deep purple baby ones that are processed in the instant pot. I would rather eat a few of these than bananas that are imported and picked too early for phytonutrients with some calories. This supplements my raw food based diet. I will have a future video on this going into more detail.

@@growingyourgreens what can a person do if they can only get food from supermarket's that say they are organic, but have still been imported ?
