That was fun! Thanks for taking us along. The simulated version seems super accurate based on the videos I've seen on TH-cam. I even have the option to beam my flight plan from simbrief to the gtc. Everyone said it would be fun to fly. I didn't believe them because it seemed too slow. The views outside are second to none! And the simulated plane is a pleasure to hand fly. Great innovative company and aircraft.
Amazing video! What is the sequence regarding the transponder? When entering the aircraft and activating the batteries, the transponder must be placed in standby and before taxing, it must be placed in auto or on? I like this aircraft in MSFS2020 but I don't know if I am operating the transponder correctly as in real life. Thanks
thats a nice video actually you could do a sum up about flight profile, ie V speeds, weights, usable or best practice altitudes.... bcos the guy who makes XPlane already managed to put his actual self as a 3d model into the plane, but none of the above.... could it do a SFVR sightseeing in NY? 1300 ft, along the river, then circle The Statue then up towards LGA and back? i did it in the sim and its quite nice. i could slow down enough for this but then use the speed for the longer legs where a prop is just a chore to wait out. but ihave no idea if this would be admissible in real life.
I'm really curious about what happens if one loses their electronic instruments in one of these planes. Especially in blackout or whiteout conditions. I don't see any analogue gauges. How does a person regain their bearings?
You would press the red button between the top two displays and it would go into revisionary mode. The bottom left touch screen controller would switch to a backup display.
Always enjoy watching SF50 videos. Just a few question: Why don't you use AT and FLC on your climb rather than VS? I normally ARM the TOGA, HDG, ALT, FLC and AT prior to takeoff and then at 500 AGL, hit AP. I also like to disconnect FD on landing.
I fly G1’s as well so I guess just force of habit I don’t use the AT that much. You have to watch it closer but on climb out I prefer VS as you can get a smoother climb profile. Technique I guess.
Thanks! Yes I fly this airplane and a few others for my job. I got into this particular airplane through a contact that mentioned they have a Vision Jet. Networking is everything!
No I was at max continuous thrust. The indicated airspeed up at altitude is not accurate in relation to the aircraft speed over the ground. I was doing about 310 TAS.
How come you started the jet with both Gen 1 and 2 on? The checklist has you turning on the Gens after start up. I go for recurrent in June. Great video
There is many variables to this, but I got into turboprops around 500 hours TT which is very unusual! There is a hidden world of part 91 flying for owners that isn't very talked about and that's how I got started.
@@larrygarot8909intra US, you still save ton of time. Not every business is international. You skip TSA, gate time, taxi time at large airports etc.. You can go from Denver to Vegas in 2.5 hours or less from being in your car to waiting for your pick up. Any commercial airline would be 4 hours~ when you add the airport congestion etc..
@@jetpropjustin1 I did not mean it was misleading. I meant I expected it to start maybe sitting in plane getting clearance. Something like that. I'm not a fan of much of an intro. Just my personal preference.
the Vision cracks me up. so practical yet so impractical but a cool factor not touched by many other modern aircraft.
If I had the money for a owner flown airplane to fly my family around, I'd have one!
Love this point of view
Thanks!
is like mfs
Indeed, at first I thought that it's a game
The vision jet is such a cool plane, super nice and fast too, like, 300 knots.
This newest version of Microsoft Flight Simulator looks incredible! 😂 Thanks for the flight in a rarely seen aircraft! I’m consumed with envy.
I want a vision jet so bad. Sadly, I don’t think that the 12,74€ I have in my bank account will be enough
I know the feeling...
12,74€? Да Вы просто русский олигарх! У меня 11$ и я хочу «Гольфстрим»:(😁
😭
i was never into the money thing, but this looks fun
Great video! thanks for posting
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great flying, great comms and great video. Never had the opportunity to fly one (yet) but the Vision Jet seems like such a gem :))
Thank you for the kind words! Hopefully you get to fly one soon.
So awesome!!!! Always wanted to fly a Cirrus Jet!! Come to Parker Az!
I’d love to fly out there, we don’t fly out west much. I hope you get to fly one sometime!
Beautiful aircraft ❤❤❤
Been dreaming flying this someday!! Watching from the Philippines 🇵🇭! Great videos by the way. Keep em coming!!
Thank you for watching and for the kind reply! I hope you get to fly one someday.
Nice flight and video. I love flying the SF50!
Thank you! Its a great airplane.
So awesome to see in real life! This is my favorite jet to fly in Microsoft flight sim!! I hope the flight one day as well, still working on my PPL!
That’s great! Keep plugging away on your PPL!
Great videos. Keep em coming
Thank you for the kind comment!
What's going on with the "K" on the right side during your walkaround at 2:44? Is that just the lettering peeling off?
Yes, someone spilled oil when filling the engine and it leaked down onto the decals.
hey do you have or know where to find a checklist so i can use it for Xplane?
Message me on instagram: jetpropjustin

Am I the only person wondering what's in the backpack sitting on the seat lol
If you like I can give a "contents" tour of my personal backpack lol

Interesting you answered for a different tail number, instead of checking if that was for you or not at 13:05
It's why i hesitated but I assumed the controller just made a mistake.
Question, I noticed your decent and approach was a little low, just looking at the runway lights….Is that because it tends to glide?
Nice landing
Thank you!
Amazing! Love that bird…So funny the only way I can fly that is in Micro FltSim….But I always pick that Livery!….where is Marian?
Marion, Illinois. Thanks for watching, hope you get to fly one some day!
butter landing!

Whats Jet model?
Cirrus Vision Jet

Usually their is a bat 2 so he would be good for 30mins so plenty of time to get situated

Other than conserving fuel was there any reason for cruising at only 200kts?
No I was at max continuous thrust. The indicated airspeed up at altitude is not accurate in relation to the aircraft speed over the ground. I was doing about 310 TAS.
What are the buttons below the PFD ? Love from France
Those are the main systems switches. Lights, bleed air, ice systems, oxygen.
That craft clearance was tough
Yeah, you can't win them all.
What is the stalling speed or is it impossible to stall with all the stability control?
It will stall for sure. In jets stall is measured from angle of attack and not a speed so I’m not completely sure on the exact speed.
what age did you start flying?
I started flying 4 years ago
how tall are you and does the vision jet work for tall people
I'm about 5' 10", but yes it's one of the roomier cockpits in the light jet market.
We've been waiting, then it says 2 minutes yet😂
Nice weather in IL.
It was a beautiful evening!
@@jetpropjustin1 do you fly to KPWK?
No not regularly, sorry! @@flyinter1988
seeya!
What’s your camera and audio setup for these videos? Great quality 👍🏼
Thank you! I use my iPhone and Gopro. The audio is a cord from "sporty's pilot shop" that connects to my gopro.

This is a G2 and the checklist on mine has the Gen 1 and 2 turned on prior to engine start. Thanks for watching!
What is minimum of TT to be hired as a pilot ?

I have a ME but you only need SE for this. @@flyinter1988
Florida! I looked at your feed…I want to fly one so bad! And that’s probably what it would be…..Bad! Hopefully not if I get a chance.
Great video! New sub 👍
Thank you for following along!
What’s the hr cost?
I think it's around $900 with fuel.
G3000 with two instead of 3 PFD/MFD? Twice the fuel burn? For the same price I will take a TBM 960. Same speed, same ceiling.
oh, yeah...and BETA!
Go ahead and check the retail price difference between the two
I’d be happy to fly a TBM! I don’t have any experience in them but I understand the fuel burn is about the same as the vision jet.
I’m glad you didn’t suck😊
Same here 😀
Nice video, I would much rather hear traffic and engine noise than music. Just my opinion.
Thank you for the feedback and for watching!
nice :)))
Hit Lotto for 850 million going to pickup my new SF50 soon. It's nice to dream.
Turn and burn homie 🫡😎

Could’ve swore, he said echo papa
I think he probably did.
Business jet?
Stretch!
I don’t follow your comment?

I apologize if I heard wrong.

Absolute grease. Camera didn't even bounce. Nice landing.
Thank you! I got lucky lol
Software software for that
Fire FIre, or Stall stall, this sound its totaly horrorific...
For sure, something you never want to hear.
I'm sorry bro but your videos lack entertainment. You could at least talk more. Instead of this awkward silence when we can't even hear the airplane
I’ll do some hand stands for you next time 🤙🏻
