@@markpulling12 there is a quick shifter it's internal not on the linkage. At 4k revs just keep the throttle open and upshift from 2 to 6th, I tend to downshift on the clutch lever though as I find downshifting a bit abrupt on the auto blipper
@@markpulling12 apparently the new BMW 900 is the same. Google 2024 f900gs photos and zoom in on the shifter there is no external sensor there. Same engine and gearbox as the Voge 900 DSX. The DSX is down tuned to meet A2 restrictions on a large bike. Large horse power bikes must meet 48 hp which has to be at maximum 50% of the original bikes horse power. The DSX at 95 HP fits the bill. The F900gs 105hp cannot be restricted because half of it's tuned HP is more than 48hp. Some random info for you. But they are the same unit ✌️
BTW, I've just test ridden this bike from Moto PC in Portimao (2 days ago) currently on a Tuareg 660, great bike (now sold) the Voge rode as smooth as butter 👌👌👏👏
Currently shown as £9000 on the road here in the uk on Moto GB site so we’re shafted on price already by around £1500 compared to Spain. What they need to watch is the APR offered on financing its rather high compared to some competitors making it not such the bargain it first seems if comparing monthly payments.
Prices have started to rise after the initial offers France now with the full luggage on Vogel FR is a whipping 12500 Euro Germany still offering at 10800 Euro Spain and Portugal till end of May for orders still 9700 Euro with the luggage. Crazy price. It's a Shame all markets are not the same. The rate it has sold though it was inevitable the price would rise, the Euro 5 Himalayan 411 jumped up 1000 Euro or 20% after sales took off. Been looking forward to this, thank you for the review. Only issue here in the UK is lack of dealer network and dealers reluctance to take Chinese bikes in PX should you ever want to move it on. It's a shame as that's all that's stopping me putting a deposit down on one tomorrow. Look forward to your future findings...
voge have a full dealer network in Spain. For sone reason it's done through a third party Moto GB. But that may change. Thanks for the comments. Ride safe.
Not sure, if the Givi tank ring will fit, but I'm guessing by August there will be a ton of accessories for it. I like the black one it looks cool. But I have had a matt black one before, never looked clean in our Spanish climate, showed dust and water marks like crazy. Kept clean looks stunning though
Thank you Paul. Just found this Video. Anyway i would not compare this bike to the BMW that much, we have not to defend ourselves. For sure BMW made some regulations what to do or what not to do with the bike. Some stuff is just different so subjektive, some stuff is painfully like the 17 Liters tank limit. You also see that they "stretch" it optically, so my bike will maybe loose the crash bars and the front panels soon to make it more look like an Enduro 😅 BTW the travel suspension is, confirmed by the german importer, front 205mm and back 220mm. They talked about the european version and not only germany. Drive save and thanks for all the fish 😅
No it's not a BMW, I was just pointing out BMW have been using Loncin engines for a while, just like before they used a Rotax engine, the 900 is a fantastic bike, it's definitely caused waves in the Market here in Spain. I also think the German version may have taller suspension and seat height than ours, our seat height is stated at 825, whilst the German site states 850. Our suspension is also a bit lower that maybe the reason
@@motechRevolution Hey Paul. Nobody ever measured the other european versions. Well its also nearly impossible because it depends on the structure of the seat, or better how much you sink in. On the other hand how to measure the maximum suspention travel without breaking it. 😅
I have ordered a Voge900 here in the UK but was a bit concerned with the 825mm seat height as I am 6ft1 but Moto GB (importer) have confirmed 850 mm same as Germany.
@@IanjamesMiller there are already higher seats being made by second party producers. They have only been on the market since the beginning of May. Depends what your inside leg is, it's a tall heavy bike. You will be ok with the standard seat I think. Maybe later change it later

I was going to go for the 850 or 900 gs adventure but at 13k without luggage the Voge at just over 9k makes sense. I have owned a Benelli trk a number of years ago and had no bother with it at all.
@user-bo2jp8cp3d I'm a 31 inside leg and I can only flat foot it with the wife on the back, solo one foot is on the ball of my foot. Yes compared to the F850gs and the 900 it's a no brainer especially with the spec it carries. It's not perfect, but the f850gs isn't also. What's the wait like in the UK. I see MotoGB are importing it. We have a main dealer network in Spain, but I'm sure you will get good after sale service in the UK. Keep a light dressing on the anodised wheels. Lots of reports of oxidation. Mine are still fine after 3000k
@@motechRevolution I believe I am looking at later September for delivery. Actually ordered it from Moto GB direct who are also Wigan motorcycles. Dealers in Scotland where I am based are not so hot about getting back to me or about discussing a px. They are 4 hrs away from me but I don’t mind that and if I have to go back to them re serving etc I will make a day of it with an overnight at a nice hotel. Seem like a decent bunch who came back to me very quickly.
Why a twin of a F850GSA? The actual BMW midweight adventure is the F900GS and there the adventure trim. Or is the model name in Spain 850 instead of 900? Just curious because also another UK guy mentioned a F850 as twin to the Voge.
A lot of the components are similar to the f850gs although the he engine is similar to engine and gearbox in the older f900r or the the f900xr. Info is very sketchy as all the engines are Loncin designed and built from a brief from BMW. The other probable answer is that the f900gsa and the VOGE share the same engine, but under agreement from BMW its limited to 95hp, although it could be to be in the A2 restricted max bhp. Whichever it is it sounds and rides like a BMW f850gs. The jury is still out. Thanks for your input. Ride safe ✌🏻 Edit the weight is also exactly the same as the f850gsa

The new engine bore is 895cc the f850gs was 853cc so it's not an over clock, it's the same engine over bored to a higher capacity. BMW already had a different 900 engine bore in it's other f900r bikes for some time now. The 900 XR being the same 95hp as the voge 900DSX
2:37 great, a dashcam built-in to the bike, which means police can seize the memory card in the event of an incident, and use it as evidence in the UK at least, if it's on your person they can't seize it, but cameras built into the vehicle they can, just a thought if you do anything a bit iffy 😉👍🏻
The Ibex 800 sport model is comparable in price, both are good bikes it’s down to styling and preference and the 21 inch front wheel. If you want a more dual sport then the DSX more road adventure tourer the CF the base CF cannot match the DSX on spec it’s up there with the cf 800 explore. But then there is a huge price difference. The DSX is more than 50% a BMW f900GSA so it’s a personal thing. Which ever you choose it will serve you well. Here in Spain the CF 800 MT sport is losing value fast. Second hand DSX 900 are selling for more than new price because of the wait. CF moto have never had that or the sales here. Try both it should help
I would say if you have experience with the KTM 790 or BMW F850GS engines that will probably be your guide, Personally I was interested in the CF Moto 800 mt but the explorer version which was €12000 here in Spain a huge €3000 more than the VOGE. But that was last year. I prefer the styling on the VOGE, but the price was a no brainer for me. Another consideration is that VOGE is now number 3 in Spain by sales and the dealer network is extensive. CF Moto not so much, Thanks for the comments. ✌️
@@dsmpampis it’s a personal choice I would want the Explore model which is now €12300. It depends on your needs there isn’t much between them. Except the €3300 of course. Anyone who can get a deposit down on a DSX 900 at the current price would be crazy not to. In my personal opinion. It’s an amazing bike at an amazing price.

That bike is not 70% same as the GS, yes the engine is similar and bike has very Similar look, frame is very diff, swing arm is diff, subframe is diff, plastics are completely diff, tank is diff, seat is diff etc
Most brands outsource manufacturing now Apple being the most well known. The engine, chassis etc are all German engineering, just produced in China. So Technically if BMW opened a manufacturing plant in China staffed by Chinese it would still be a BMW. Location for Build is not relevant. Just because German men and women don’t make and assemble it, doesn’t mean it’s inferior. The Chinese have some of the world’s best technology. That said a lot of people will now think much more about paying double just for a badge. The more I ride mine the more I’m blown away.
@@motechRevolution I may be wrong but in this case the engine was actually not designed by BMW but BMW bought it from Loncin. It's not that same engine as in original F800GS mounted by Rotax in Austria.
