    It is always the best part of the video when Nick gets face revealed accidentally... and he is *already* in the Batman mask ahead of time. The hero we deserve.

    man the watchman reference was GREAT! I love watchman. I have the brass scale version with 154cm steel. Picked it up after getting the brass elementum which I was also impressed with! Paid 70$ and man for the money I'm super impressed even compared to my high end knives and customs. Fit and finish/blade center is perfect! Love this budget blade. Thanks for this disassembly video!

    Less about the video, which was great, but more about the channel. I LOVE seeing the collaboration with BirdshotIV, Cedric and Ada, and Advanced Knife Bro. I'm sure there are others, but the cooperation is obvious from the viewer side and it makes you all better. Well done. Subbed to all.

    Great overview of the breakdown and reassembly. My screen may be a little fuzzy but I think you got that first bearing on backwards. Thanks, Nick.

    That’s interesting that this knife had a lot of thread lock on it. My Praxis didn’t have any thread lock on it. The pivot screw actually became so loose that it the blade hit the liner after a short time. After a little blue thread lock it is now perfect and I love it.

    I decided to strip down my Praxis again while watching this to see if the blade has the steel ID as well (it does). In doing so, I realised that I'd made a terrible mistake when reassembling it last time. I had the bearing race around the wrong way on one side of the pivot. It's caused the centre of the race to push up. Going to take some gentle pressing to fix. edit: all good. fixed it.

      @traviswrigg5158 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@petergalione9704 the way the knife laws are written where I am a knife that gives 12 people the impression that its a switchblade is a switchblade. Despite the fact that I think it's really stupid and I've written my state representatives about "hey maybe let's dial back our ludicrous switchblade law maybe" I still try to follow it because if one of your coworkers knows or thinks you're carrying an illegal knife that's illegal because it's a murdery stabbing tool, it doesn't really matter that much that its a handy dandy box openy tool. So I get by on thumb studs and thumb holes. Frankly, I think the thumb holes are the most superior, but it's always tough when there's something like this that's an incredible value that I just have to sit out on.

    Tired of hearing budget brand . Under $20 is budget imo . $40-$50 for a knife doesn’t seem like budget . These civivis are right next to my knives that cost hundreds and I can’t tell a difference but the metal and solid feel of some of the pricier knives can’t be beat . I prefer titanium solid frame lockers for heavy use and still don’t trust liner locks but never had one fail yet but then again when I need the right tool I grab it . I don’t think most knives should be batoned and beat the hell out of although some take it quite well . I m in the woods almost daily and lately the “budget” ganzo720 has been a workhorse for me at least . 👍👍. Plenty of good knives to choose from . For years it was a buck 279t hunter and one day I took the scales off the buck and realized it looks pretty cool with no scales .
