      Ok if you learned then i have a question for you plZ solved it if u can....
      In Drosophila, the gene for eyes color has two alleles, recessive e for echinus eyes and dominant E for wild type, and the gene for wings has two alleles, recessive c for crossveinless wings and dominant C for wild type. A fly with echinus eyes and crossveinless wings was crossed with a wildtype fly. All the F1 flies from this cross had wildtype eyes and wings. When they were back-crossed to flies with echinus eyes and crossveinless wings, they produced an F2 in which, among a total of 500 flies, four phenotypic classes were observed: Wildtype were 175; (2) echinus eyes and crossveinless wings, 185; (3) echinus eyes, wildtype wings, 78; and (4) wildtype eyes, crossveinless wings, 62.
      (a) What is the evidence that the genes for echinus eyes and crossveinless wings are linked?
      (b) Among the F2 flies, what is the frequency of recombination?
      (c) What is the distance in centiMorgans between the echinus eyes and crossveinless wings genes??
