This was hilarious ...the sets almost looks like a skit on SCTV...gotta love cable tv!!!! You can see the charisma of Arthur come through in this interview even in this low budget setting. The other 2 guests were awesome promoting his albums!!! I belleve it was before his troubles with the law where he got royally screwed over. I think like most great bands....it takes certain ndividuals to be together to have the right chemistry. Johny Echols and Bryan Maclain were integral parts of Love in their creative process. That's why we have Love Forever Changes and that's why it can never happen again. RIP Bryan and Arthur. Johnny Echols is a class act if you ever see any interviews with him.

Does anyone know if the two bros playing are Robert Rozelle (bass) and Melvan "Wah-wah" Whittington (second guitar) who were part of his Black Beauty project? It's been soooo many years since I was acquainted with all of them. Surprised Josef Blocker wasn't playing the drums. Arthur was a pioneering black rocker, often overlooked... in Jimi's shadow. 1966! Before Jimi was "discovered"

Tuning is a relative thing I think. Being a musician it’s hard to ignore this but it’s great that people can appreciate it by seeing it as raw and real...We’ve probably been spoiled by perfect studio recordings that rarely represent what someone really sounds like on a given night...Recording studios are like photoshop....

A musician whose cultivated their listening skills would cringe to hear this, but every time I’ve seen them, Arthur’s guitar was flat, but
his charisma makes it okay. Notice how much better it sounds with him playing the harmonica?
Regardless, they were a BIG influence on a ton of bands in the mid to late ‘60’s.
