I never had any interest about being in the military even I grew up in a military family, but this man made me what to be near him and to be as great as him. Here's what I've learned from spending a decade living abroad outside of the States: These values that he's discussing are uniquely western. There are many places in the world where this sentiment and message would not resonate with people AT ALL. I know because I've had these types of conversations and I can confidently say that Westerners will take to it the most. What we have in the West is precious abd should not be cast aside. True leadership doesn't win elections. The problem isn't our system, the problem is us and our unwillingness to think for ourselves or at least to choose leaders who are actually skilled at leading. Instead, people choose who they "like" based on how charismatic they are and how much they think they align with their personal beliefs.

Here's what I've learned from spending a decade living abroad outside of the States: These values that he's discussing are uniquely western. There are many places in the world where this sentiment and message would not resonate with people AT ALL. I know because I've had these types of conversations and I can confidently say that Westerners will take to it the most.
What we have in the West is precious abd should not be cast aside. One of the most precious aspects is the ability to speak freely in order to self correct, DO NOT assume that this is possible everywhere or take that for granted. Many who slam the US have never lived in an Authoritarian system before and I recommend that they do before they demonize our values💪
