    i bought the mini version, and i have had zero regrets. although i dont live near any trout creeks, i fished it at my pond and it was a huge success. i caught a few 10 inch bluegill, wich is insane because thats about the biggest in my pond, and ive never had any luck with anything but live bait. great video!

    You said you were going to tell the "magic" of the TM jig head & why you like it so much but you forgot to. Think you could explain that in your next video? Also, that jig body is great for quite a few different species, excellent little bait. I keep mine soaked in flavor (months) and I also tip my hook with either a Berkley crappie or trout nibble just for a bit of extra flavor & scent. As for colors, they all work. Maybe some better than others but they all work. Great video bud...

    TM's are the bomb for sure. Down here in NC they are lure of choice in our delayed harvest streams. We have to use single hook artificial in those streams from Oct 1st thru May 31st. If u know what you're doing , keep playing with colors and float depths you'll have a blast day in and day out. I've even got multiple fly rodders using them and the mini magnets . For that type of fishing nothing beats them. This year I've already caught over 800 Trout and roughly 600 have been on the ole Magnets. Good video per the norm.

    8lbs line, use a bait holding hook with a single trout magnet, toss it as far as you can upstream and let the current take it downstream in smaller creeks. I got a ton of decent sized trout with that method

  • @KeithTaylorPhoto
    @KeithTaylorPhoto 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You said at the end that the most important part of fishing a trout magnet is florocarbon line. Why is that?
    I ask because I currently have braid on my ultra light reels and have some trout magnets that I’ve yet to fish. Will a fluorocarbon leader work?
    I’ve never used fluorocarbon on any of my spinning reels or baitcasters. Always have used braid or mono.

    I know this is an older video but, what box are you using to keep your trout magnets in?

    • @Triaz357
      @Triaz357 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think that’s a double sided Plano box. I got one at Walmart for around 5 bucks. I keep my rooster tails in them. I really like that box, after watching this I may pick up another for my trout and panfish magnet stuff.

      With deeper water you need a slip or ever bobber to really get the lure down

      @@NRVOutdoors what colors? The ones I have are pink and natural; the only ones my local Walmart has. As for the Berkeley trout worm, my local Walmart has the pink, orange, and natural; but I do have 5 different colors schemes of the Mouse Tails.
