This is an old video, They do have a web site that will put you in touch with a sales rep. I am sure you can mount this mount anywhere the right foundation can be installed. . There are some building codes that govern these structures and technically you have to pull a permit. I am also sure they have all kinds of inserts you can purchase fore special applications like entry doors and windows with open and shut..

I would attach a strip of treated lumber to the siding
The correct way is to cut siding and install sunroom track to house Wall sheathing. Than Install J channel and siding

I would like to see how you mount this to the vinyl siding,not a flat wall>
To do that I would cut the vinyl and add channel. Vinyl is easy to cut and easy to work with.
You can use furring strips with foam mounted to the back.
