hey Em! yes, love NANCY!! love the original cover the best liked the diaries too! oh that purse is so cute! oh the interactive book is soo cool! this was sooo fun Em!
@@CandlewickLibrary Happy Hollistets were my first collection of anything. I would go to yard sales with my grandmother and buy them for a dime or a quarter!
I love Nancy Drew too. The stories always seem so contemporary to me. It's hard to believe when they were written. The first 7 are my favorites - thus far at least. Interesting that they were written by the same author. That makes sense now that Laura Linney only did the audiobooks for the first 7 and not all 12. 7 always seemed like a strange book to stop on. I love your Nancy Drew collection especially the handbook and the interactive book. You may already know this but there is a You Tube channel called Penelope Heaven that makes audiobooks of the Nancy Drew books that don't have professional audiobooks. They do a great job with them. I'm always super prepared too. It was the influence of the Girl Scouts. People ask me all of the time as an adult if I was a Girl Scout. Maybe Nancy Drew was a Girl Scout when she was a child.
@@catreadsbooks I would think Nancy was a Girl Scout. I wanted to be a GS but it didn’t happen until my niece was old enough. I signed up to be troop leader and start a troop so she could be a Daisy. Thanks for letting me know about the channel!
@@CourtneyReads which have you watched and what did you think? I have watched most of the tv and film adaptations except the recent Netflix or Prime one. It was too spooky and not the feel of a Nancy Drew. Actually, I might be confusing it with Sabrina but either way I haven’t watched the new one.

I've actually never read a Nancy Drew book but now I think I need to. I have seen some of the movie adaptations that have been done over the years.
